Chapter 15 - Dramatic Dinner

"Why is there a sound of a motorbike? Whose motorbike is it, Ma?" The middle-aged man who just came out of the room raised his eyebrows.

"I don't know, Papa. Let's see. Who knows Papa's friends," Karina replied.

Papa and Mama Khanza came out when they heard the sound of a motorbike parked in their yard. When they opened the door, both of them were of course shocked when they saw the child who had come down from the back seat.

"Khanza." The two of them shouted together.

Who felt his name was called turned around. Reviewing a gentle smile, Khanza then immediately approached and greeted his parents.

"Mom, Dad," he said.

"Who are you with honey?" Investigate Damar.

Arif took off his helmet. Also getting off the motorbike, he followed Khanza and did the same. "Uncle, Auntie," he greeted.

Damar raised an eyebrow. The handsome face in front of him seemed familiar. "You're the young man who was hit by our car, right?" guessed right on target.

"Yes Om." Arif commented on a gentle smile.

"What do you mean Pa? Did you run into someone?" Karina was shocked to hear her husband's statement.

"Kak Zay was the one who hit Arif, Ma. Fortunately, the children are okay," Khanza argued.

"Za," said Papa. It's a shame to hear other people.

Oh my gosh. No wonder Karina didn't feel well this morning. "Forgive my son son?" Karina said sincerely.

"It's okay Tan. Besides, it's also Arif's fault. Arif was also not careful driving his motorbike earlier."

Damar looked left and right. "Where's Mr. Usup, Za?" What he knew from the report of his wife's son had gone shopping accompanied by the driver.

"Pak Usuf is waiting for the repairman to patch car tires," he explained.

"Your tires are punctured?" surprised by the mother who suddenly nodded in response to Khanza. "How come?" continued the middle-aged woman.

Take a deep breath. Damar understands a little why Arif is here at this time. "Let's continue the conversation inside, let's go. Come on, Son Arif, come in."

"Yes son come on." Karina also invited the handsome young man.

"Come on, Rif first," urged Khanza to which the man finally nodded.

Go inside together. The Mama and Papa also brought their child's guest to sit back and relax in the living room.

"Za get a drink there," said the mother.

"Eh, don't bother, Tan," Arif prevented.

"Don't bother. Think of this as a thank you reply for helping me," said Khanza.

Scratching the back of the head. Alright. Actually, Arif is really thirsty at this time. While waiting for the poor girl to make a drink, Arif was invited to chat by Khanza's parents.

Damar told his wife what had happened this morning. And Arif also told the incident that Khanza had just experienced, until he accidentally passed by and helped the girl.

"Thank you, Son Arif. It's a good thing you're here. If not, maybe your aunt hasn't come home yet."

"Yes, son Arif. Om is also very grateful, because you are willing to help and take Om's daughter home."

"You're welcome, Auntie. Besides, Arif just happened to be passing by."

Khanza finished making some drinks, put them on the tray, he also brought a plate of sponge cake there.

"Wow, you're being diligent." Zay, who just came out of the room, intercepted his younger brother. Then grabbed the cake on the plate, he suddenly pursed his lips when Khanza sharpened his eyes.

"Ask for one Za," replied the older brother.

"Brother, take the kitchen over there. This is for Papa, Mama, and Arif."

"Wise?" repeated the Brother, narrowing his eyes. "Arif, the one you hit earlier?" he asked in more detail.

"Hmm."

"The one that goes to the same school as you, right?"

"Yes, my dear brother." Khanza swung legs to step.

"Eh wait Za," Zay stopped. "He's here?"

"No. In Hong Kong," the little girl snapped. "Yes, yes, Sis. That's the person in the living room."

Zay stretched his neck. It looks like the straight back of a young man. "Why is he here Zathen how did he know the address of this house? Don't tell me he's here because of the collision this morning," said the middle-aged man.

"Kepo huh?" quipped Khanza. "Just want to know ... do you really want to know?" he teased.

"Za," scolded the older brother.

Rolling his eyes, Khanza replied in a curt tone, "Just ask the person yourself."

tsk tsk. Zay feels very angry at his youngest brother. Wanted to explode with anger, but unfortunately Khanza disappeared first.

"Please drink the tea Rif." .handing him a glass, Khanza also placed a plate of chocolate cake in the middle.

"The cake is also eaten, don't hesitate," added the Mama.

"Yes, Son Arif. Please drink and enjoy the cake." Damar also welcome.

"Thank you, Auntie, Za." Sipping tea, Arif glanced at Khanza and just realized the appearance of his cupuid friend.

"Cough-cough-cough!" Arif suddenly coughed.

"Drink slowly, Rif," said Zay, who had just arrived and then joined in sitting there.

Sweeping his wet mouth. Arif gave a shy smile. "Sis Zay," he greeted.

"Sorry, I just found out that there is a guest at home. By the way, what are you doing here, Rif? Was there a collision problem earlier? Is your motorbike still not right?"

Just go on and on, Zay. Khanza and his parents shook their heads at the adult man's to-the-point question.

"It's not about the collision, Sis. Arif came here just to drop off Khanza. I happened to meet him on the road when his car tire burst..The problem with the motorbike has been sorted out, thank you, Sis, for helping Arif take Arif to the workshop, where to use it to be sent directly to school again," explained the young man in polite language.

"Oh." Zay glanced at his younger brother who was grinning innocently. You Khanza, why didn't you tell me earlier, thought Zay. Watch out later Za.

What it looks like is very stupid. In fact, he was busy finishing the tea he made himself.

Crazy. Why did I just realize the appearance of Khanza. It's cuter in casual clothes like that. Ah, if he didn't wear big glasses, he must be very cute, thought Arif.

"Son, Arif, just have dinner here, okay?" Karina's request snapped Arif out of his thoughts.

"But Tan." In fact, Arif is still reluctant. He wasn't used to eating at other people's houses.

"Yes, son Arif. Just think of this as a thank you request as well as an apology from our family to Nak Arif," continued Damar.

Arif is still weighing his decision. Glancing at his friend, the little girl was even silent.

Khanza didn't know what to say, because to be honest she was also happy with Mama's idea.

"It's okay. You don't have to be shy," Zay urged.

"Em ... yes, Arif has dinner here," agreed Arif, nodding. It's also not good if you have to refuse the Khanza family's invitation.

"Thank you very much Uncle, Aunt, Sis Zay, Khanza, Arif for having dinner together."

"No, don't be shy, just think of your old aunt and uncle as well," said the middle-aged man.

"Yes, Son Arif," agreed the wife.

"Think of me as a big brother and think of this house as your own," added Zay.

Moved. Arif commented on a sincere smile for the family. I miss Mom and Dad, she thought.

Karina took Khanza back to finish their cooking session. while waiting for Arif to continue his chat with Zay and Papa Khanza. Even though they are of different ages and generations, they seem to be very connected to each other. Arif is a young man who likes to mingle with anyone.

Without realizing it was time for dinner. .Arif, who dined with them, now seemed familiar with the family. Khanza's parents and brother were very friendly, making the young man feel comfortable in that warm family.

As usual Zay and Khanza always create drama at the dinner table. No matter there are guests, they are still fighting to annoy each other.

"Sis Zay, it belongs to Khanza," protested the spoiled little girl in front of the family.

"Sis Zay is the first one to get, it means this is Sis Zay's. You take the other one." .biting the fried chicken thigh, the middle-aged man stuck out his tongue mockingly at Khanza.

"Oh sis Zay!" mumbled Khanza.

"It's okay. You guys keep making noise when you eat. Don't be ashamed if Arif is here," reprimanded the mother while reminding the two of them when they had guests.

Who cares that tom and jerry. Khanza even frowned wryly. "Khanza won't eat if there's no chicken thighs," the spoiled girl scoffed.

"Za," said Papa.

"Mas. You're a habit, you really like disturbing your sister," Sisi scolded.

Arif turned to the cute girl opposite him. With a faint smile, he moved the chicken thigh that Karina had given him. "This is for you," he said.

"Yeah!" Khanza cheered shamelessly. "Chicken Thigh," he rejoices like a child who gets a new toy.

Karina, Damar, and Sisi shook their heads. His youngest child is still the spoiled Khanza. Meanwhile, Zay—the naughty second child, will never be satisfied if he doesn't bother his little brother for a day.

"I'm sorry, Auntie, Rif, they really can't get together, they are always noisy," said the mother.

"It's okay Tan, Arif is actually happy and entertained eating here." Than at home he eats in silence. Even though there are both parents, he is still an only child who can't feel how exciting it is to fight with siblings.
