The streets of Skycity were truly lively, there was shouting everywhere. Lots of people coming and going in the wide streets on foot while there was also a special path for those people who were being transported in carriages or mounts to which you could see that they were carrying such heavy loads that they had no choice but to go very slowly, unlike some others that you could barely see them for a moment before they started to move away due to their great speed.
Even if one constantly looks up, the sensation of being able to see different types of beasts and flying ships of all kinds moving quickly gave the impression that it was as if it was a continuous chaotic flow that never stopped. And within this traffic, there was also some kind of order that prevents accidents from happening, perhaps simply with the passage of time people had become accustomed to that kind of environment and that is why there were no problems or they were simply too afraid of causing any inconvenience that would make the silver sentinels, intervene.
Different buildings and stores could be seen in all directions, some large and several stories high, while others were only one or two stories high; most of them were luxurious stores that boasted of having the best weapons, the best clothes, the best materials or the best food, and a whole wide range of resources were available to the adventurers who passed by the place since being relatively close to the majestic jade palace, it was obvious that many considered it one of the best areas to carry out different businesses and trades.
It was understandable because Skycity was the capital of the winged empire and besides being a natural fortress almost impenetrable thanks to being at a great height, the economy that circulates on the surface is already enough to intimidate many small countries.
Raiko walked through the crowded people holding tightly with in his hand a small bag, or rather a small leather bag 10 centimeters long with his rewards inside. As he walked, he kept bumping to other passersby due to the confined space thanks to the large number of crowds passing through, and the only thing that Raiko could do was to hold his few belongings tightly to avoid any misfortune and walked in the direction that Misha had told him, to find the Adventurers Guild.
As Raiko had understood it was a huge building that was probably only surpassed by the Jade Castle so when he arrived, he would definitely recognize it. Walking through the streets the boy noticed that even though he had been constantly watching the city through the windows in the Jade Castle, many of the buildings that he came to recognize as small turned out to be much larger than he had expected.
After walking for what felt like hours, Raiko had finally seen mounts and animals of all colors and shapes, even people with special characteristics, some with Wings, others very tall or smaller than him and at one point he even came close to stepping on someone of Sasuachin's height but fortunately that little person didn't hit him and simply cursed him for a while for not being careful and then continued on his way.
Eventually it became less tumultuous because at some point, he had reached a square that could be described as colossal, according to Misha that giant place was known as "The glass square" since the floor had a translucent layer as if it were glass but in reality, it was Glassiom, the same material that was made of that great protective dome of the city.
Placing his gaze on the horizon, Raiko could finally see in the distance a huge building that stood imposingly above all the others in the area. That building can be described as a giant circus tent but unlike a circus tent, it was made from solid materials that gave the impression of being a strongly reinforced and thick as those of a bank vault. As Raiko had remembered all the adventurers' guild in all cities had this shape. However, the strange thing to him was that Misha had told him that he would have no problem entering because there were always a lot of people coming and going but at this moment there was a large crowd around the doors, everyone had expectant looks on their faces trying to raise their heads above the other people to observe something in the direction of the entrance of the guild.
Raiko approached a person who was trying to move forward in front of the tight crowd uselessly as he was somewhat skinny and didn't have the strength to even move other people a little
"Hello, is it normal that there are so many people waiting to get into the adventurer's guild?"
That skinny guy turned around, giving Raiko an up and down look before saying.
"You must be a foreigner just arriving so you must not know this but right now his highness, Prince Mornigth has just completed his first Gamma rank mission and it is most likely that he will be promoted from Delta to Gamma rank which would be a cause for a celebration in our winged kingdom as his highness has the highest plasma potential seen in thousands of years in our empire..."
Just as he was about to continue explaining there was a thunderous shout coming from the crowd, it seemed like the combination of many different cheers loudly exclaiming 'Prince Mornigth!' and at that moment the crowd gave the sensation of growing as seconds pass by, even Raiko who had just arrived could already see himself surrounded by a sea of people.
Not having a clear visibility of what was happening at the entrance of the Guild, the red eyed boy decided it was time to take a good look. 10 fingers turned reddish and from them came out his iconic threads shooting to the grounds, the threads didn't do any damage or even leave a mark but at least they served as a support so he could stand up from the crowd.
Far away from his sight an imposing figure that looked splendorous was perched right at the doors of the guild. It was an extremely handsome young man, with long and shiny hair of a deep silver color, his masculine face was adorned by two sharp eyebrows that made him look intimidating, he wore a golden armor that even overshadowed those of the golden sentinels that Raiko had seen before and this person was standing, holding high with one of his hands a symbol that everyone could appreciate -g- which represented that as mentioned by the passerby, the promotion that the prince had carried out.
Prince Mornigth was smiling in front of the crowd, his smile could cause womens and mens to lose their breath while the fearful to find the comfort that they need, his eyes shone with an intense golden color that even overshadowed that beautiful armor he was wearing, proud of himself, he tightly clenched his new symbol of rank.
Few moments pass by but the cheers continued without losing rhythm and in the middle of all the chaos, a small black marble in one of his bags began to emit a vibration and as he touched it, the look on the prince' face changed in a way imperceptible to everyone else.
'-Father is calling me- 'he thought to himself and from a red carpet that was under his feet that nobody had noticed until the moment it began to rise slowly and advanced towards the imposing jade palace. As he did so, he did not forget to raise his hands and greet the people in an elegant manner, which only motivated people to cheer even more. It was obvious that the figure of Prince Mornigth was recognized to all as the heir to the throne and the next person of great renown of the winged empire, it was not superfluous to say that many expected him to become a titled in the near future.
By the time he was on a great height, without taking his eyes off the jade castle that he approached, he felt something moving on the back of his neck to which he looked in the direction of his shoulder, only to find a small lizard of light blue color, the same as that of the sky slowly emerging from his neck showing that it had been hidden in the prince's beautiful mane.
"Mornigth you should know that there was a rather interesting guy watching you in the crowd..."
The voice sounded deep and husky as if from a wise old man, the sound came from the same blue lizard that had made its appearance moments before but for some strange reason the only movement its mouth made was to stick out its tongue as if it were a snake.
"If fate wills it, you will surely meet him in the future but there is something that troubles me."
"What is it Lord Salamander?"
"He has a smell of blood that made me nervous..."
Prince Mornigth's face changed drastically to one of complete surprise, he couldn't help but give a glance behind himself before the adventurer's guild. Since only those who knew Lord Salamander's nature would know how shocking his words were.
After the crowd had begun to disperse with the departure of the famous figure of the next successor to the throne, Raiko had finally made his way through the doors of the adventurer's guild and with his fists clenched tightly he finally decided to take a step inside.
