Blue lotus city as a Tier 8 force is very prosperous and has a history of over a thousand years. Vermilion empire is composed of various cities and each city is a minimum Tier 8 force which shows its overall strength.
Blue lotus city is just one of the Tier 8 cities under the Vermilion empire but no Tier 8 power can contend against it because it has a huge background.
It is a part of Tier-5 power therefore few sects try to provoke it provoking it means challenging the majesty of Tier 5 power. Consequently, the city is very peaceful and prosperous.
In Blue lotus city, the number of traders who enter and exit is numerous. For the merchants, the city under the Vermilion empire is the best place to trade.
Why? Because here security is top-notch and most Importantly people are rich.
Merchants themselves come from Tier 9 or Tier 8 families or sects. For them, this place can be considered as a trading point so they come here every month to sell various resources gathered by family or sect behind them.
