Jonah POV
I was pissed at my brother and father when they both sent me to my room. They stationed guards at the doors and the windows.
He didn't have a right to do this to me, I was his younger brother, not his son, not one of the wolves under him. I could resist his Alpha command for crying out loud! I was on equal footing with him for most parts.
When I heard he had found his mate I was ecstatic, maybe then he would get off my case and stop trying to get me to take on more responsibilities.
My brother didn't understand what I wanted. He didn't know what it was like being me, being the younger brother that was not enough.
It was difficult growing up next to perfect Jason, the next original Alpha.
I know that my parents did their best to raise us with no favoritisms, but I always knew that Jason was always special.
'It's not like you want to be Alpha.' Hades, my wolf said in my head.
