"Jason?" I asked as I walked back into our room after having dressed.
"Yes, love?" Jason asked as he looked up at me from the couch.
He was wearing a black suit since this wasn't an official event anymore and simply a dinner, a very formal dinner with extremely important people in attendance.
"You look gorgeous." He suddenly said as he got up and walked to me.
I was wearing a maroon form fitting gown with tiny crystals sewn into the material. I was never a fan of those puffy ballroom gowns that most women of the same rank as I were fond of.
"Thank you. You look very handsome too." I told him as he leaned down and captured his lips in mine, kissing me quite passionately.
"Wait, I wanted to ask you something." I told my mate as I bit my lower lip.
"What is it?" He asked as he led me to my vanity so that I could do my makeup. "By the way, all the alphas from earlier will surely be jealous of me now." Jason said with a cheeky grin.
I rolled my eyes at him and shook my head.
