After my encounter with Jonah I couldn't think straight, I needed to get some fresh air.
'We aren't familiar with this place, maybe we should ask our mate to show us around.' Ares aired her concern in my head as we walked back the way we had arrived.
'No, I'm not going back to that, that, -' I couldn't find the right words to describe Jonah. He knew what to say at the right moment, he knew exactly how to take advantage of the mate bond.
It was clear that he wanted this to work more than I did.
'That delicious wolf that we just left all alone in his private, soundproof office?' Ares cooed in my head, annoying me further.
'We both know that this isn't right.' I scolded her as I found the stairs and marched right down.
