Majka canceled the PE classes, because at that time her high school match with "Samochodówka" was to take place. The teacher also couldn't fire them home because they still had English in the schedule. Although they haven't been doing anything in class for a week except sitting. Students were supposed to cheer on their school.
Piwońska sat down with her friend. She pulled Murder at the Orient Express from her bag and plunged into reading. She could read so much that she completely excluded herself from the world around her.
"Majka!" Hanka tugged her arm.
"What?" She looked at the girl sitting next to it.
"Look over there," she pointed to the field.
"I don't care about the game," she continued reading.
"Isn't that Olszański?"
Piwońska began to look at the players.
"Yeah ... it's him."
It didn't make a big impression on her. She thought the book was more interesting than a stupid game.

The mayor's cup went to High School No. 2. Just after the game was over, the bell rang to announce the next lesson.
The last one was English. Majka was just leaving school when someone grabbed her hand.
"Hi!" it was Karol Olszański.
"Hi!"
"Can we talk a minute?"
"Of course."
They were walking towards the gate.
"Nice game," the girl said.
"But it was your school that won. Hope you show up on tour on Friday."
"I don't know."
"Hey. You will not get out of science! It will be after the end of the year" he smiled.
"I'll see."
"See you on Friday!" he ran to his colleagues who were waiting for him.
**********
It was after 8 p.m. when Majka was putting on her shoes. She took Ibiza's keys and papers from the locker.
"Where are you going? Who are you going to hang out with at this time? Lately you often go out in the evening and come back late" said the woman who entered the hall.
"Mom, if you didn't notice it, I have been an adult for some time and my peers, unlike me, are going eighteen, so sometimes I come back late. Anyway, I always leave a card on the table when I get back. And today I am going with Hanka to the concert that is on the market on the occasion of the beginning of summer holidays."
"For what do you need the keys for?"
"I promised to drive two friends home after the concert. If they wanted to make the last pekaes home, they would have to get ready" she looked at the watch.
The mother was watching her, she did not quite believe what her daughter said.
"Then maybe I'll come get the car later, what do you say? You will meet Ania and Kasia."
"No, take the car."
The overjoyed Majka got into Seat. In fact, she had no intention of going to the market, much less driving someone home.
********
A lot of people showed up at the race. It was like that for two reasons, first of all the summer holidays had just started, and secondly, Robert Olszański was to race that evening.
Robert stopped at the starting line. His race was to be the first. His brother approached him, because the brunet's opponent had not yet appeared.
"Karol! What did I just say to you?" Robert asked nervous.
"Er ..." The boy wasn't paying attention. He was watching the fans. He was clearly looking for someone in the crowd.
"Who are you looking for?"
"No, no one .... you think."
The older brother did not pursue the subject any further because his opponent had arrived.
During the race, Karol managed to spot Majka. However, he could not come. He had to record the sector times of Robert and his rival.
