"Pfft..." Everyone tried not to laugh but couldn't endure it...of course except for Rick. "Haha, very funny, so I'm out of the plan right?"
"No no my boy, absolutely not. You see Cécile too has a small light, the thing is the light can increase. But if it's not there, it can never appear out of nowhere. So you are in danger of murder, henceforth important."
"So what's the deal with this?"
"Is it magic?" Lucy and Emma asked simultaneously.
"Well after months of research, it's found out that..." Sat didn't finish his sentence and silence covered the place.
"Yes?" Rick was impatient.
"Well we know nothing, but I know something...but telling you will only drag you to this matter and you won't need it. The important matter is since last month people with this light are getting murdered by unknown things...for example the box that killed 5. The police reached there as soon as they were informed about the potential murder but it was late."
"So we are not 100% safe..." Emma muttered but it was loud enough.
"Why are you still scared girl? Chill up! And yes, after all these, I won't say 100% safe, but yes your chances of survival is almost zero without my assistance.
Shaun was silent for a long time and now he is looking at his watch time to time.
"So what are you proposing?" Shaun finally talked.
"Postpone all your plans, all of you are coming with me except for Mr. Shaun, the plan changed a bit recently. You'll be accompanying someone special, because we didn't have good enough facility for you... that's what I'm supposed to say idk why, but it is safe."
With a few seconds of silence, Shaun declared, "I'm in. It'll be an honour to learn under Major."
Cécile suddenly looked towards the projector with a surprised look. Everyone's eyes were on Shaun.
"Pretty good guess, I hate to admit that you're right. Now Cécile, take them to the van." Sat said with the same face.
"With all the beds? I'm not superhuman Sat." Cécile said annoyed.
"Well...I wanted to argue but...just wait I'm coming." Sat said as he just started tearing his bandages and standing up.
"What?-"
"Hey Mister what are you doing?" Everyone exclaimed in surprise except for Cécile.
"Took you long." Cécile said yawning casually.
"Hmm I am not in a hurry. Pack up." And the projector stopped showing Sat.
"So he wasn't at all injured?" Confused Emma asked.
"Pretty badly injured actually." Cécile said smiling.
"If he's as injured as me, how did he just tore the bandages like nothing and walked? You sure are hiding something..."
Rick paused for a second and said "On a second thought, I take back those words, I choose life." He was clearly still afraid of Cécile.
Cécile raised his hand in serious face and said, "Your wish is granted!" and then immediately broke out in laughter "Hahahaha...you kids are real jokers...dammit I'm going out of breath! Hahahahihi..." Nobody understood why she was laughing but they were assured that she won't hurt them anytime soon.
Just then they heard a knock at the door and they saw Sat coming from the door. "May I come in? Anyways I'm in, now to business." He went straight towards Shaun and looked towards Cécile. *FLING* She flung the ball towards him, he easily caught it. Then he gave it to Shaun. He hesitatingly held the ball, his forehead started glowing like before.
Sat placed his right thumb near the yellow point and paused there for a whole minute. "You are pretty interesting... didn't tell anyone about the small injuries. *sigh* Let's do it..." Sat closed his eyes and started murmuring, it was such a low voice that only Shaun heard it, "Almighty God, Lord, please forgive me..." and his hands started to give off fade yellow light. He gently placed both of his hands on Shaun's jaw.
Another minute passed, everyone was spellbound. Finally Sat removed his hands from his jaw and touched across Shaun's hand a few times. "There you go"
Shaun tapped his cheeks a few times slightly. He said in his voice "My jaw was broken...how..."
"A little gift from me. You defeated that thing we came here for, so as a bonus I healed you fully, including the small injuries. Shaun still couldn't believe what happened, he kept touching his jaw again and again.
"Hey, it looks like a miracle but it is not totally magic, so if you keep experimenting your jaw like that it's gonna break again, give it rest for a few days." Hearing this Shaun sat on his bed silently and nodded.
"Good boy, now to Mr. Hero, Rick isn't it?" Now Sat approached Rick.
"Wow, I'm pretty famous it seems...I think I'm gonna trust normal medicine and time to heal my wounds...hey Shaun! DID IT HURT?" Rick was clearly freaked up. Shaun didn't say anything just smiled and nodded. Sat didn't stop and kept going towards him. He took his mouth to Rick's ears and whispered, "Girls are watching Rick..." Hearing this, suddenly Rick was the bravest man in the universe. "Bring it on!"
Sat gave him the ball and he hold it. Lucy asked Emma, "Is it only me, or the Rick guy is empty in the top floor?"
"None of the books I read can explain it, I guess boys are mysterious like that."
Alex was silently listening and thought "How the turn tables..."
Meanwhile Sat finished his healing (what else can I call that?), it took a little time since Rick was injured in several places. He tapped his hands in a few places of his body and stopped. "So did it hurt?" Sat asked mockingly.
"It kinda tickled."
"So you're getting along? Good to see that." Someone from the door said. They all recognised the voice.
"Major!" the kids exclaimed in joy.
An old man came inside from the door. "Guess the disguise wasn't perfect, I forgot about my voice."
"I gotta say Sayak, better than before." Sat said smiling.
"Yeah yeah say it, it's the only thing you're better than me..." Sayak disguised as an old man responded with a smile on return.
"So my time has come? Goodbye friends." Shaun said calmly.
"Hmm, it aches my heart to leave you, but what can I do? I could never imagine even I'm getting spied on." Sat said as he looked at Major.
"You know I don't take the decisions. I just execute it." Major's voice was a little sad.
"So Shaun, I wish you luck in Zapta school of Optics, hope we meet again." Sat said as he approached Major.
