Alex, Ravi, Emma, Lucy were sitting on a table. A minute ago they were told their food will come in 20 minutes. Emma's eyes seemed calmer than before.
"Well good for us, we had to talk anyway. So let's start. I am Lucy, Lucy Wright. I completed high school from Lycée Thiers, in Marseille. I will be specialising on Geology. My hobby is martial arts, i think that's not new to you. Now it's your turn." she was flawless in talking, perfect extrovert. She didn't stutter a bit.
Emma was watching her with eyes wide open. ("I want to cry...I never talked that much in my whole life...how was she able to talk like that ... she's a Goddess for sure")
"So who's next" Lucy asked restlessly.
"I guess Alex should be next, it'll be time consuming in my case, Emma and I owe you explanation" Ravi passed the ball to Alex's court.
("Why do I feel like that Ravi guy is playing with me? I was supposed to mix in the crowd, not be the center of attention... anyway here goes nothing")
"Umm I am Alex Brown, specialising in Quantum Computing. I completed High School from IS. I'll be joining research facility in Mars. My hobby is...my hobby... actually I am not good at interacting- shit that's not hobby, sorry sorry. I don't actually have a hobby." Alex flustered and stopped. He subconsciously tried to follow Lucy's pattern but failed.
"Well I'm Ravi, Ravi Reddy from India. I am not really talented as you guys, I completed High School from Janakpur High School. I don't actually have a plan what I'll be doing in Mars, I got chance somehow as Communication student."
Ravi paused for a moment.
Lucy suddenly spoke up. "Hey silent beauty, you didn't utter a word since we met. Introduce yourself ple--"
Lucy suddenly stood up. "I AM EMMA FISCHER FROM GERMANY I COMPLETED HIGH SCHOOL FROM 'IS' I AM SPECIALISING ON ASTRONOMY AND I'LL BE JOINING A PRIVATE COMPANY IN MARS." Emma suddenly started speaking in full volume surprising everyone. Even always unfazed Ravi was shocked.
Lucy sank into her seat immediately. For a moment, it was pin drop silence. Then came a wave of laughter.
"Damm Emma relax, it's not an interview (chuckle)"
"So you are the Emma from class Zen?" Alex asked.
"So you two know each other?(That's bad news bad news bad news why why why)" Ravi asked.
"I won't say we know, i just know the name. She was absolute legend in the memory competition. Nobody could touch her in that field for last 5 whole years." Alex was a little bit confident while talking as they started becoming familiar.
"I don't know how it happened, someone wrote my name on the list and i was forced to participate..." Emma said in low voice.
Lucy spoke again, "Now Mr. Ravi it's your turn, explain."
*Ahem* Ravi cleared his voice. "Emma are you ok with it?" Emma hesitated but nodded. "Sometimes after Alex and Ravi left, i heard some noise but decided to take out and read a book. Then I saw Emma with a few other people standing beside the door. Everyone was shocked and watching something surprising. So it piqued my interest, I went there to see and discovered a riot going on, it seemed friendly at first then someone pointed out towards two boys fighting."
He continued..."They were smiling, so i wasn't concerned. Then I heard Emma's voice. Her eyes were wide open. She said it's gonna be bad, if it doesn't stop, one of them would die. She also added Alex and Lucy were gonna win their area. It was hard to believe about the previous fight but she was confident. So few of us went to the captain's room for help, when he told that there were no guard, and asked us to do something before they get the doctors ready, everyone else made excuses and ran away. And we went to infirmary. And explained the situation to the doctor. And you guys know after that."
"Umm Emma you predicted all that?" Lucy was surprised.
When the discussion went to the fight, Emma's calmness in eyes faded, it was almost sparkling. "You are master of Judo as well as mid level Kung Fu, you know little bit of Karate too, but not professional. Alex knows nothing about martial art. He totally fought with his instinct, his reflex saved him from any injuries. Everyone else was using normal below average marital arts."
That Emma who hardly talked the whole time, described the whole fight professionally. Everyone was amazed realising her analysis power.
"Yo-you are right, all of it. And moreover you didn't sugarcoat anything. I believed my lack of knowledge in Karate would be covered by Kung Fu, but you got it right, which belt are you?"
Emma's eyes became calm again. "I-I don't know martial art...I just read about it...i can't perform it."
"You IS students are weird...how come you know about Kung Fu but don't know to use it?"
"IS really seems fun, such interesting students" Ravi finally talked.
"Who cares, we're all going to mars, so there is barely any difference between us" Alex tried to calm the situation down, he knew how people envied IS students, so better to cut the tree before it grows.
"Ladies and Gentlemen here's your food" they were interrupted by two waiters with food.
They quietly ate their food. If thoughts were loud, it would be disaster, but one thing was sure, they finally made friends, compared to other passengers, they were only ones who could rely upon each other.
So since they are eating, let's not disturb them, why not peek on Mars? There is something interesting cooking there.

[ MEANWHILE ON MARS, A FEW HOURS AGO]
There is a big quarrel in the Gizmo district headquarters. Two guys were almost on the verge of fighting, the one with brown hair shouted, "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?! It's almost time of the launch and you didn't even inform Earth about the issue?"
"WELL LIKE I WANT TO HAVE A BUNCH OF KIDS SLAUGHTERED AROUND THE WHOLE MARS! How many times do I have to say this? No message is leaving the SHIELD RANGE."
"So you so called authority just put up a barrier permanently with help of some strange stones found randomly without even testing?"
"I am repeating myself again, it was not my decision, the higher ups decided it. I'm just executing it. Well don't be mad, although they were possibly disappointed that you ended up in jail, they gave you the Paper of Institute as soon as you returned"
