Nancy's POV
Amidst the tranquil air, I broke the silence between us, the rhythmic cadence of the wind resonating in the background. "Are you okay?" I inquired of Baby, my words hanging in the air.
His response came, laden with concern, "Yes, of course. How about you? Are you feeling any pain?"
I reassured him, "No, I'm fine. At some point, we need to discuss the baby," my voice softened as I gently rubbed his hand, which lingered around my neck.
But Baby, seeking solace in the present moment, murmured, "Please, Nancy, I don't want to delve into this right now. Let's just relish the view."
