Nancy's POV
Experiencing uncertainty can be challenging for anyone, but it becomes much worse when it feels like it's consuming your entire being. I wish someone could assure me that everything is alright, that Baby is okay, and that he has finally defeated Lycian. This situation feels like a never-ending nightmare that I can't escape from like a spider's web tightly wrapped around me.
Barbie was shocked when I suggested that we should head back home. I'm aware of the risks involved, and it's probably not a wise decision, but the anxiety of not hearing from him or Roland for such a long time is killing me. I needed to know if Baby was alright, so I'm going back even if it means walking into a trap. Some might call me foolish, but I can't continue to wait in uncertainty any longer.
"Go and pack your things Barbie," I said in a voice devoid of emotion as my eyes met with Barbie.
