Nancy's POV
"Enough, you two," Barbie said firmly. "I know this is extremely difficult for you, especially since you're so young. But you should be grateful that you get to talk to your mother whenever you want, and see her every day." The three princes stared at her in silence.
"At least you three know that she's alive and well, and you can talk to her anytime. But we..." Barbie trailed off, stammering. I felt my legs grow heavy, maybe from standing for too long, or perhaps from hearing how my absence had affected them. I knew it had been hard for them, but I had never realized until now just how terrified they were when they talked about it.
