Daniel woke up before Angelica and while he should have gotten out of bed and left already, he didn't. He just lunged on the bed, watching her sleep. It wasn't until now that Daniel realized that he had been lacking intimacy. It is said that the older one gets, the more he recognizes the value in people and that seems to be the case with Daniel.
It took Natalie's dare to show him what he had been missing out on and he didn't want it to end. Obviously, Daniel doesn't love Angelica - he wasn't capable of such emotion - but he wanted a woman by his size. Fooling around with girls young enough to be his daughter didn't make the cut anymore.
