For over a minute, Mimi stood at that spot, her feet rooted to the ground as her brain was unable to keep up with what just happened. Everything went too fast; one moment Charlie was looming over her with malicious intent and the next, Victor took him down.

Mimi looked up to see Victor coming towards her and as much as she wanted to take a step back, her feet were unable to obey her commands. It wasn't long before he was standing before her without doing anything - they just stared at each other like morons.
