Tang Ning thought before saying," I think it's been thirty minutes from now. I'm not so sure though."
He nodded and said," I will ask you to wait outside for a moment." Before Tang Ning could get out, she stopped and asked," But will she be alright?" "Yes. You don't have to worry," he answered and she nodded before leaving.
Even when she got outside, she couldn't relax and kept pacing back and forth. She could glance at the door every now and then wondering why the doctor wasn't coming out. Could something unusual have happened to her, but no, she shouldn't think negatively. She couldn't imagine the look on Jing Yue's face right now. He must be furious even though he seemed calm on phone.
After the long wait, the door finally opened and the first thing the doctor saw was the anxious look on her face and he said," She is stable now." She released a deep sigh of relief before saying," Thank you so much. Can I see her?" "Fine but she's still unconscious," he said and she nodded her head before stepping inside.
"How long will she take to wake up?" she asked as she looked at her. "Soon. She doesn't usually take this long," he said and she again got a worried look on her face.
Seeing this, he added," It is nothing really."
"I pray for it to be the case," she replied and sat on the bed before clutching her hair frustratedly.
"Where you with her when she got the attack?" he asked and when she nodded, he realized why she was so worried. "What is your name?" he asked, realizing that he hadn't taken time to observe the young woman. It might be because of the way she dressed that made one not to pay attention to her at first sight but on closer look, she was a beauty.
"Tang Ning," she replied before asking," Uh, doctor, isn't there any treatment that can heal her permanently?" "You mean the little one?" he asked. "Yes," she replied. Of course. Was there any other sick person? she asked herself. "Yes there is," he replied. "Then, why don't you give it to her?" she asked.
"It is surgery and she can only have it when she makes twelve, at least," he replied to which she nodded in understanding.
After a moment of silence, she remembered something and she immediately stood up saying," I forgot to inform Mr Jing Yue!" "You don't have to. He's on his way," he informed and she looked at him. "Oh okay," she replied and walked back to where she had been sitting.
"Are you a family friend? It's the first time I'm seeing you here." "I'm the twins' new nanny," she replied and he nodded.
"Uh, I'm called doctor Shin," he introduced before asking," Do you often get some free time?" "Free time, why?" she asked.
"I was thinking that since you spend more time with her, you will be helpful in updating me on her status which in turn will help in her treatment," he said. "Sure. You can rely on me on that one," she said. "In that case then I have to take your contact," he said and Tang Ning saw no problem with it. "Yes it's fine," she replied and he fetched for his phone internally smiling that she had fallen into his trap.
"Alright," he said after getting his phone and she started reading him her digits, and that was the sight that Jing Yue walked to.
His jaws clenched when he saw her reading him her number and he cleared his throat to interrupt them. "Mr Jing Yue," she called as she stood up. He glanced at her once before looking at the doctor and asked," How is she?" "She's fine. She's just still unconscious," the doctor replied and he walked inside the room, going to her side.
Tang Ning grew more nervous when she saw the way he only glanced at her once. She could tell that he was really mad and she wondered if he was going to fire her. But that would be understandable, she thought. She had put his daughter under great danger. Unbeknownst to her, he was mad because he had found her giving her number to the doctor.
After touching Huan's forehead and seeing that her temperature was normal, he looked at Tang Ning and asked," Where's Juan?" "In his room," she replied. "Go and check on him. I don't want him to find out that this happened," he said and she immediately nodded before running away from the room.
With the two of them remaining in the room, Doctor Shin said," You don't have to worry about a thing Mr Jing Yue. She is still fine and can sustain until she makes twelve."
"What were you doing?" he asked instead. Confused, he asked, "Doing? I don't understand."
"You were taking her number," he pointed out for him and realizing, he laughed awkwardly before saying," Oh, about that Mr Jing Yue, I wanted to get updates from her since she is the little ones' nanny." "I saw the way you were looking at her," he said before adding," Back off right now. She is mine."
At the information, he slowly nodded and said," I understand Mr Jing Yue and I am sorry. I didn't know and it won't happen again." "Have you finished getting her number?" he asked. He shook his head at the question and said," Not yet."
"Perfect then. I think you can take your leave if that is all." "Yes. I indeed have to go."
Tang Ning came out of Juan's room whom she fortunately found sleeping. Closing the door behind her, she wondered where she should go. Huan was in her room where the furious Mr Jing Yue and the doctor were. In the end, she decided to head to Huan's room and spend some time there. On reaching, she sat on the little one's bed before looking around.
