Chapter 1 - Ch1 Transfer

Screams could be heard the sounds of women, children, and men as well, but these weren't Screams of pain or horror, at least most of them were. The roller-coaster they were in slowly came to a stop. A loud female voice could then be heard. "Please exit the ride. We thank you for your patronage here at Robotrick Park. Please come again."

A little girl with a lollipop in her mouth was looking over at the roller-coaster. "Lilian honey, let's go." a mature-looking woman with brown eyes in a business suit with a skirt said as she held the girl's hand. The woman then began walking away with her daughter, and the little girl began talking to her about something.

Unknown to the woman, she was being watched closely by someone else; her every movement was being observed by a 2nd party that was a good distance away. This 2nd party was only interested in one thing; her buttocks. Not long after and all the people from the roller-coaster were walking away from it, and people who had an interest in going on it approached the queue that was already there. The crowd that was created eliminated the line of sight that the 2nd party had with the woman.

A groan of frustration was heard by the person who was previously observing the woman. This person was Neil, a 17-year-old young man who was slightly below average height by about 4 inches and had black hair as well as black pupils. Face wise, he would be considered average looks-wise.

He was in a concession stall that had white and red lines going up and down it with a sign that says {Popcorn}" above the hole that he could be seen through. He was working there for the amount of 17.30 dollars an hour, which was a good amount for the job he was working on. He was happy to be making money that was above average for the job, but it was boring as hell, so now and then he'd find things to entertain himself, but that thing was walking away. "Damn, that lady wasn't bad..." he said with some anguish in his voice as he then rested his head on the counter that was part of his workstation. "Really? is that all you can think about?" said a female voice that came from next to him. This was Rene Neil's coworker a brown-haired young woman who was 19 as well as his assistant manager she was in multiple ways his senior since she had been working there longer than him and she was also his senior at school. She was going on about something, but Neil wasn't listening as when he put his head down, he entered a state of unconsciousness.

-what she was going on about

"You should be glad that I'm so nice as to let you get away with slacking off. You should be happy to have such a nice senior, you know~" Rene said. Although it was a joke, she still had a feeling of pride in herself after saying that. She looked disappointedly at Neil as he didn't so much as a twitch from hearing what she said, making her pout. "You know that lifeless attitude is why you're still single." She said in an attempt to poke out a reaction from him, but like usual, it didn't work. Also, as usual, she knew when the battle was lost, and so she walked away.

She left Neil there unconscious, but what was going on wasn't sleep. No, it was something natural but still far more complicated. Neil was currently awakening. Awakening was an event in which a person would gain what were literal superhuman abilities or powers either when they were born or during their life. In the society that they lived in an Awakening was something that was often life-changing and they became either heroes, Villains, Joined the military, or became none of the previously mentioned professions and remained as everyday civilians.

Neil's body just laid there motionless except for his creating, which was at a normal rate, and all the muscles that were not controlled by any automatic reflex were relaxed. At the moment he was there was no thought he was quieter than a sleeping baby however his phone which was in his pocket told a different story.

"....Where am I?"
