After many years have passed, animals from the paleolithic era died, the greenery scene was destroyed, and animals during that period went extinct. "Ancient beast", an ancient beast are animals that ruled over the prehistoric era, thus dominated the animal kingdom back then, they were considered ancient since they can interact with humans, but after the prehistoric era was changed, Ancient beasts were nowhere to be seen, people assumed that they're also destroyed along with the other prehistoric animals.
Modern Era, Earth. Time skip to the Modern Era.
Earth was stable during that time, they have countless technology and "Omega". Omega was a mysterious shard that appeared on the sky out of nowhere during the Early Modern Era. The shards quickly spread through different humans piercing their chest, the humans thought they would die but instead grant them powers, each humans possess different types of power ranging from controlling gravity to teleportation, the intensity of your powers depends on your level that comes along with the shard. To obtain levels, you need to kill beasts, monsters, undead, etc... Humans have come to familiarize the power and called it "Omega" which means the end of human weakness.
The people who were originally bestowed with the shards died due to aging, the people and the government thought that the power of the shard will be taken away along with the dead person. However, scientist discovered that if the person implanted with the shard has a children. The shard duplicates itself and created another shard for the children.
"Oh... so grandpa Turtle, do humans possess powers?" said the man who was munching on a meat cooked from a dead prehistoric beast.
"Well, Perzi, you didn't see any humans did you?" A gigantic turtle opens it's mouth. With heavily moss covered shell with it's sharp rocky jaw.
"Grandpa Turtle, I didn't know who my parents were and any other humans."
"That's only to be expected, since we picked you up from a city that was destroyed."
"Really? I didn't get to see any other humans. Hey grandpa Turtle, can I go outside this magical forest?"
"HAHAHAHA, well, you're 20 years old now, we old men can't take care of you anymore nor train you with our powers."
"So... Can I go?"
"Only if you ask Draco, Fero, and Noctu."
"You mean... Uncle Draco, Mother Fero, and Father Noctu?"
"Yes, that old dragon may be resting at the mountains, and that owl and fox may be at the cave."
"Okay grandpa, see ya."
Perzi ran through the mountains. Ordinary humans may take up to days climbing a mountain, howerver Perzi has the grip of a Mountain Goats. He easily climbed the mountain within 8 seconds reaching Draco.
"Yo, uncle Draco, can I ask your permission to leave the forest?"
"Yeah, yeah, you can go now, brat." A dragon with magenta scales was resting on a rock, the scales were no ordinary scales, they're scales that can even withstand a planet thrown.
"Thanks, uncle Draco, got to go now!"
"Haiizzz, that kid sure grows fast."
Perzi slides through the cave like an animal with no bones, but he did not see Fero and Noctu there.
"Father and Mother may be out in the forest again, huh? At least they left a letter."
"To Perzi. Perzi you're a grown up man now, go explore the human civilization that you didn't experience, me and your mother Fero are doing something... ehem. Don't mind that. Now off you go!"
Perzi put on a modern era clothes given to him by Fero and finally goes down to see the human civilization.
"Woahh... There's many humans like me, damn, back in the forest, I only see beasts. Okay, first things first. Grandpa told me that humans have jobs. Well, I should apply for a job right now."
Perzi glanced at his right side seeing a small street vendor, he approached the vendor asking for a job.
"Hello grandma, may I ask for a job?"
"Young man, there's better jobs than this, why are you willing to help me?" An old lady with hunch back speaks to Perzi.
"Well Grandma, I don't have a job, and I don't know about human civilization now. Last time I saw a human was when I was 3 years old."
"Last time... No matter, young man, you're hired! Now help me push this carriage!"
"Okay grandma!"
