Chapter 2 - Segment 2

The doors burst open, what Jinjuso expected to see was a brightly lit hall with loud chatter and bursts of enthusiasm, but he was greeted by a deep pitch-black room, void of life, the confused Jinjuso called out, "anyone home?". There was no response only his echo bouncing around the room "what the hell is going on" he thought to himself. The confused Jinjuso walked around the room waiting for a response, "they must be testing me, they wouldn't welcome me into a pitch-black room for nothing" he thought to himself. Jinjuso smirked, it was almost as if he had thought of something a scientist wouldn't think of or so he thought, he then generated energy in the middle of his palm, and out came a spark of fire. He suddenly heard light chuckles throughout the room, each one sounding unique in its own way. They then intensified. Suddenly the laughter stopped, and multiple voices could be heard throughout the room and each uttered one word. The first said "we", followed by "are", "all", "one", "person", "but", "who", "is", "the", "head". "Ok so I just have to find the one who is controlling you all", beamed Jinjuso with confidence, a hand gripped Jinjuso's shoulder, and out came the words "it won't be so easy". Jinjuso, swiftly turned around and grabbed after the mysterious person, but they faded into nothing, then Jinjuso began running around and lunging at every mysterious person he could find but they all faded into nothing. "ARRGH WHERE IS THE REAL ONE" Jinjuso shouted. "Do you expect us to tell you", the voices said. Jinjuso carried on running around and hitting every suspicious person he could see, but his efforts were futile he soon grew tired, but he never gave up not once. "Wow, you're so persistent you really don't know when to give up" the mysterious person stated. "I want to give up, but I must pass this test and prove myself I won't let you hold me back!" Jinjuso said with determination. Sweating like a fountain Jinjuso stopped, closed his eyes, and thought to himself "who has the most I.C.O, if I can't figure out who it is, I'll have to sense who it is". Jinjuso's veins started glowing a bright fiery red, then a burst of fire formed around him, and his long dark brown wavy hair stood up tall stretching across his red beanie. "HUH AGGGHH WHAT is this POWER," one voice said. The voice was spooked and, in an attempt, to save themself summoned multiple clones, which started popping up and spreading around the place, they moved swiftly in a clockwise rotation trying to confuse Jinjuso, but it didn't work. Jinjuso instead started muttering to himself, "one to the left one to the right three down the middle, and one below me". Before any of the clones could react, Jinjuso as swift as a hawk, dashed and was right in front of the real one. The punch to the stomach was so devastating, that all the clones disappeared and the dark figure flew into a nearby wall, faster than a rocket. After a few quick seconds went by, a few silent claps ensued, and the lights switched on. The claps grew louder, and a man with a tall, defined body approached Jinjuso clapping, his beard so robust it scared Jinjuso. "Well done, well done, truly I am very impressed, you are a talented one indeed", said the strangely built man. "Umm thanks but who are you?", Jinjuso said, "I am Roll Vi Caprio, head of the Adventures association and orchestrator of these tests". "Who might you be young man" he continued. "The name's Jinjuso, remember it for as long as you live, you will hear my name high and praised by many someday". "Wow a confident one I see", replied Roll. the wall at the far left shifted and rumbled, as a teen with spiked green hair stood up rubbing his head, and he walked over to Jinjuso moaning, "ow you didn't have to punch me that hard I was only testing you". "Sorry but you spooked me, so I had to teach you a lesson," said Jinjuso jeeringly. "Well anyway, my name is Danny Raelyn", "Jinjuso's mine nice to meetcha". "You're really good Jinjuso how d'you find me, most people gave up or just used an area of effect spell that completely rekt the place, but you actually tracked me, how?" asked Danny. "Well, I just used a trick called I.C.O level detection and found the one with the most I.C.O which was obviously you", "WHAT… HOW DO YOU KNOW HOW TO USE ICO DETECTION ALREADY THAT'S AN ADVANCED SPELL, FOR PEOPLE YOUR AGE ANYWAY!", Danny said surprised. "I got taught by the best ha", "who", "not gonna tell buddy", "Um boys stop with the idle chatter, Jinjuso I need to take you down to the meeting hall so we can start the tests, you're very late, sign this boy", said Roll. "Ok" Jinjuso took the admission slip from Roll and signed it along with his age and date of birth. "OK head downstairs boy I'll meet you there", Jinjuso looked around and saw how destroyed the room really was, the wooden floorboards had holes in them the walls littered with scratches, and planks lay scrambled around the place. Jinjuso headed downstairs, but a voice called out, "HEY boy that was the test of awareness", said Roll "you passed the first test well done", Jinjuso smiled and headed down the stairs.
