The Emperor turned to Grand Tutor, whose face was dark. "Grand Tutor, as an elder, we want our children to marry for love. Second Prince had said he has no feelings for Miss Ping Shui and it would be good for Miss Ping Shui to choose another that would treat her well."
"Ping Shui, what do you think?" Grand Tutor asked his granddaughter. This was his favorite granddaughter, who takes care of him well, and inherited his intelligence.
"Ping Shui will obey the Emperor's decision. But Ping Shui hopes that everyone will know it's a mutual separation between two parties."
"You can rest assure of it," the Emperor promised. "We will not slight you."
"Thank you, Your Majesty, but Ping Shui has a request."

"Ping Shui wishes to marry General Tang Jiang."
The Second prince's gaze was sharp, and if it could be transformed into a blade, Ping Shui will be dead from it. "General Tang Jiang arrives!" A guard announced at the entrance.
A tall and robust man marched into the place, his armor made sharp clinking sounds as they rubbed together and saluted with a movement that could be considered as energetic. "This subject greets the Emperor!"
"Tang Jiang, receive a decree from the Emperor for a reward!" Eunuch Xiang hold up a yellow scroll and Tang Jiang kneels down to accept it.
"Tang Jiang, for your huge contribution to Guilin Country, the Emperor decides to reward you! Tang Jiang will marry Miss Ping Shui and enter Ping household before the year ends! End of decree!"
Tang Jiang immediately raised his head in shock. "Y-Your Majesty?"

"Long Zhu, We have something to discuss. Follow Us to the study!" The Emperor did not wait for the Third prince's reply and walked away.
"Serve the dinner," the Empress ordered the maids. She did not bother waiting for the Emperor to return and there will be another set of meals waiting for the Emperor and Third prince in the study room.
The Third prince turned to Xiao Hua. "When the food arrives, eat it for this prince." Ignoring the shocked Xiao Hua and the disapproving An Wan, he walked to where the Emperor had disappeared to.
"Third brother, let's go together. I have something to discuss with Father Emperor." the Fourth prince quickly followed.
"Alright."
"Third brother-"
"Eldest brother's discussion could wait till tomorrow. It would be rude to leave Mother Empress alone."
The crown prince looked dissatisfied as he watches them leaving. Then he turned to look at the little maid that belongs to his Third brother.
