Jane slowly woke up and cleared her blurry vision. As she looked around she saw she was in the warehouse but in a different area than she was when she went through the portal.
Jane ran outside and saw a bunch of police cars and Darcy. Darcy saw Jane running out of the wharehouse.
"Jane! Where the hell were you?!?"
"Tell me you didn't call the police!!"
"What was I supposed to do?"
"Not call the police."
"I was freaking out."
"You call the police, they call the feds, next thing you know S.H.I.E.L.D crawling all over Area 51ing the place!"
"Jane."
"We had a stable gravitational anomaly. We had unimpeded access, our only competition was ten years old."
"Jane! You were gone for five hours!"
Jane looked shocked "What?"
Jane then looked around and saw that it was raining everywhere but right around them in a perfect circle.
Darcy looked around and said. "That's weird."
Just then Jane saw Thor and some other guy standing off to the side. Jane rushed over and the circle around Darcy and Jane, followed her causing Darcy to get soaked.
Darcy sighed in resignation. "Typical."
Jane arrived in front of Thor and Thor looked over in joy. "Jane!"
Jane just smacked him across the face.
"Sorry, I just needed to make sure you were real, it's been a very strange day."
"I am. Jane what..."
**smack!!**
Seth saw the whole interaction and chuckled. "Ouch. That had to hurt. Y'know you deserved that though."
Jane just ignored him and continued.
"Where were you?!?!"
"Where were you? Heimdall cannot see you."
"I was right here were you left me. I was waiting, then I was crying, and then I went out looking for you. You said you were coming back."
"I know, I know, but the Bifrost was destroyed. The nine realms erupted into chaos. Wars were raging marauders were pillaging. I had to put an end to the slaughter."
"As excuses go, it's not terrible. But I saw you on TV you were, you were in New York!"
"Jane, I fought to protect you from the dangers of my world, but I was wrong. I was a fool. But I believe that fate has brought us together."
Thor grabbed Jane's cheek with his hand. "Jane I don't know where you were or what happened to you, but I do know this..."
"What?"
"I know...."
"You do?"
"Do what?"
Then Darcy walked ran over with her jacket over her head. "Hey! Is this you?"
Seth looked at Darcy and then the others and said. "It's not him, but I can fix it, hang on."
The group including Thor looked on in shock as they saw Seth look up and his eyes became completely white and he caused the rain to stop and the sun to come out.
"There that's better."
Thor was very shocked. "My friend, since when could you do that?"
"For a while now. It's a long story, I'll tell you later."
After getting over her shock, Jane looked at Darcy. "Um, we're kind of in the middle of something here."
"Um, I'm pretty sure we are getting arrested."
Jane looks at Thor. "Uh, Hold that thought." and she ran off to deal with the police.
Darcy looked at Thor and the guy next to him. "Look at you, still all muscly and everything. And uh, who's your friend?"
"Names Seth, nice to meet you gorgeous."
Seth was still in his Ninja Gaiden suit so she could clearly see he was just as muscly as Thor and even more toned. She slightly blushed at the comment but was distracted by the situation going on with Jane and the police.
Jane had just walked up to the senior officer who looked at her and asked. "Are you Jane Foster?"
"Yes."
"Do you know this man?"
"Yes, he's my intern, well my intern's intern."
"This is private property and you're trespassing, the lot of you. You're gonna have to come with me."
The officer then reached out to grab Jane's arm but a huge explosion from the Aether launched alot of the officers flying. Thor ran over to Jane in concern and the officers got up and began pointing their guns at the group.
"Place your hands on your head, step back!"
"This women is unwell."
"She's dangerous."
Just as Thor was about to respond, Seth walked over from the side and he looked at all the officers with their guns pointed at Thor.
His eyes started to become white and thunder started to rumble.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you, we're dangerous as well."
The officer got scared and said into his walkie. "Requesting armed officers response at the scene."
Thor looked at Jane and Seth and then said. "Jane hold on to me, and Seth, stay close."
The officers and Jane looked on in shock as a beam of rainbow light came down and sucked the group of three into the air. The officers backed away in amazement and Darcy ran over and looked up. "Holy Shit!"
Thor, Jane, and Seth arrive on Asgard. and Jane looks around in exhilaration. "We have to do that again!"
Jane then sees Heimdall. "Hi"
Heimdall smiles and says "Welcome to Asgard."

The Dark Elf leader Malekith speaks with his second in command about how they will make Asgard pay and take the Aether and restore their world and put an end to what he claims is a poisoned universe.

(Asgard Healing rooms)
Jane is laying on what's called the Soul Forge and marvels at the process of observing herself like a live action X-ray.
"What's that?"
"Be still." the Soul Forge operator says.
Thor speaks with one of the attendants. "This is not of Earth, what is it?"
"We do not know. But she will not survive the amount of energy surging within her."
Jane is still staring at the process going on above her and asks the Soul Forge operator. "That's a quantum field generator isn't it?"
"It is a Soul Forge."
"Well does a soul forge transfer molecular energy from one point to another?"
The operator seemed surprised. "Yes."
Jane smiles at Thor and whispers. "Quantum Field Generator." Thor smiles back at her.
Odin then walks in and says to Thor. "My words are mere noises to you that you ignore them completely?"
"She is ill."
"She is mortal, illness is their defining trait."
"I brought her here because we can help her."
"She does not belong here in Asgard anymore than a goat belongs at a banquet table. I already gave you the benefit of the doubt for your other mortal friend. Had he proved to be a nuisance, he too would have been forced to leave."
Jane realized he insulted her and looks at Thor. "Did he just...."
She then looks at Odin. "Who do you think you are?"
"I am Odin. King of Asgard. Protector of the nine realms."
"Oh, well I'm...."
"I know very well who you are. Jane Foster."
Jane looks at Thor. "You told your dad about me?"
Thor looks at Odin. "Something is within her Father, something I have not seen before."
"Her world has it's healers, they are called "doctors" let them deal with it. Guards! take her back to Midguard."
Some guards walk towards Jane and one of them moves to grab her.
Thor sees this and tries to stop them. "No, no I would not..."
Thor was cut off by an explosion from the Aether that blasted the guards away, but what happened next shocked not only Thor and Odin, but Seth himself. The Aether released itself from Jane and charged towards Seth and entered inside him and he was launched into a wall and knocked out.
Thor first went to Jane who had fainted and then checked on his friend. Odin who saw the whole process, recognized the Aether from the stories he had known. He ran towards Seth and hovered his hand over his arm and saw the Aether running through his veins.
"It's impossible."
The Soul Forge operator frowned. "The infection defended her and has now moved on to the other mortal."
Thor interjected,"No, it was defending itself and now it seems to have moved on to a host with a higher chance of survival."
Just then Seth awoke with a gasp. he groaned in pain. "What happened?"
Thor replied. "Whatever was inside Jane has moved to you."
"Really? I don't feel any different."
Odin frowned and then looked at Thor, Jane, and Seth in turn and said. "Come with me."
