"Chaaaaaaaaaaarged!!" A red-haired female Japanese warrior in red armour shouted while raising her shiny samurai to the air.
The whole troupe charged forward while roaring and raising their samurai to the air led by the female warrior. The archers inclined their bow and aimed their fire arrows to the air, releasing the rain of fire arrows to the demon. The demon armies marched forward while swinging their swords and struck them on their opponent.
A dark bluish-grey skin demon in black armour with swirling goat horns attached on his head held his sword while standing stiffly, watching the bloody war with an evil grin. The demon soldiers struck their swords, spiky clubs and large hammers at the Japanese warriors and even impaled their heart and stomach. Huge and tall hefty dark grey demons entered the battlefield and immediately struck their heavy clubs and hammers to the decrepit humans. They trudged, jumped and stomped the bloody ground, creating a massive vibration.
The female warrior struck and stabbed the fierce demon nearby with her samurai. She covered herself with a red shield on her other hand as a demon with the head of a boar with long fangs and long horns on its head struck its spiky wooden club at her. She stabbed the demon's heart and cut open its stomach. She breathed heavily and watched the battlefield filled with corpses of demons and brave samurai warriors. She gazed upon the scarlet sky and the crimson earth, sorrow devoured her heart as most of the corpses were human death bodies.
"General Yamamura, we need to retreat! We will lose more men if we proceed," cried the samurai warrior as he removed his menpo, red mask.
She sighed and swallowed her saliva then screamed, "retreat!!!!"
The Japanese armies heard her voices and immediately surrendered. They moved the manoeuvre to the wood and slayed every demon which chased them. They stopped by a lake after running for hours and hours. The female general squatted on the bank, scooped the crystal clear water and spread it all over her dirty face. A middle-aged samurai warrior approached her from behind and called her name.
"Jiryuu-dono, I'm glad that you survived! I couldn't do anything for our death warriors," She cried and hugged him.
"Nobara-sama, their death wasn't your fault. They had prepared their courageous hearts and even sacrificed themselves for humanity, for us to proceed living, and for their future generations to experience a good life," Jiryuu replied. "We will meet Gokubo-sama and joined his troops once we reached Kiirotori fortress."
Yamamura looked at the living warriors, washing themselves in the lake and enjoyed the meal from the cauldron with sorrow on each face. From a thousand warriors, the number drastically dropped to fifty, but the men were still able to offer themselves to the battlefield and joined her. She looked at her vague reflection on the calm water and smiled at Jiryuu. She jogged closer to Hajime, a man in white dress with round-framed glasses, who cooked their ration. He set his eyes on her then offered her a brown wooden bowl with rabbit porridge.
"Thank you so much," Yamamura took the bowl and sat on the lying tree trunk, beside Hajime.
She scooped her porridge with the wooden spoon and fed it into her mouth. She put the spoon down and sighed, their defeat meant nothing to her but the warriors death which was worth no victories upset her. Hajime glanced at her gloomy face and chuckled.
"My, my, Nobara-sama, you upset the porridge when I cooked it with deep love. You must fill your ravenous stomach before you can plan another move," he smiled with a V-shape curve carved on his face.

On the day of Ansel's coronation day, the whole citizens of Hansville Kingdom came to celebrate the enthronement of the new king. The clear blue sky warmed up the land with warm smiles from the citizens, enlightening the ceremony.
Ansel gazed at his citizens against the huge window panel. Jerome and Frederick entered the room with bright smiles on their faces. Ansel turned back as he heard his younger brothers called his name and a smile immediately carved on his face. Jerome hugged him and congratulated him as the new king. Frederick shook his hand and teased him.
Jerome lent them his fist and smiled, "brothers."
"Brothers," Frederick joined his little fist to Jerome's fist and he stared at Ansel.
Ansel smiled and joined his big fist between the gap, forming a triangle. "Brothers."
King Curitis who heard their conversation from behind the wall smiled. He turned his head to the left and saw the butler and pointed his index finger to his lips, a sign telling him to hide his presence. The butler nodded and bowed.
Ansel sternly ambled on the aisle covered with red carpet on the nave of the cathedral. The people of Hansville Kingdom watched him marching sololy forward. The ceremony was accompanied by the melodious music of the organ and the choir. He watched his father, standing stiffly with a bright smile drawn on his face. He sighed as he reached the choir of the cathedral then the recitation of some lines were depicted by the bishop in white robe and white mitre on his head.
King Curitis removed his heavy crown with colourful shining minerals attached on the frame and a convenient scarlet velvet covered the inner part, from his head. The crown was placed on Ansel's head as he bent his body lower.
"For now, I pronounce you as the King of Hansville, King Ansel," declared the old bishop.
His citizens cheered, sprinkling the floor with rain of rose petals. Ansel breathed heavily when the colourful glass panel suddenly glowed and became the crowd's attention. The bright white light reformed into the shape of a figure of a female and slowly turned to a woman. The people gasped, Curitis and King Ansel immediately kneeled down as the figure spreaded her arms followed by every person in the cathedral. She landed her feet on the platform of the choir and stood in front of Ansel.
"King Ansel of Hansville, you have devoted your courageous heart and kindness for the sake of your kingdom. The oath you take will be a reminder for you to rule this kingdom with all your might. As chosen by the god himself," the glowing woman raised her hands and a sword, born from the golden light appeared on her hands.
She held the golden sword to the air and landed its blunt tip on his shoulder, "King Ansel, with this sword bestowed upon you, never to use it for the sake of your heart and satisfaction, never use it for the sake of vengeance and lastly, use it for what your heart have sought, peace and for humanity. Words from the god himself, swear to him from the bottom of your heart, take an oath for the sake of saving the world. With this sword, I now bless you with the title of Sentinel, a guardian and a hero of all humans and your people."
Ansel stood weakly and turned to his people as they cheered for his name and his new title. He turned to the oracle and bowed. The oracle smiled and vanished into the glass panel. He watched his vivid reflection on the blade and raised it to the air.

"General Yamamura, I'm expecting for your arrival," an middle-aged samurai warrior in black armour welcomed Yamamura and her leftover soldiers.
"Gokubo-sama, I'm honoured to be at your service. I lost a thousand men and I required your help in an instant. The demon's are moving their troops to Goushun Kingdom. The armies there are rather weak, we must lend them a helping hand," Yamamura bowed.
"General Yamamura, I entrust you to lead the manoeuvre once again. You won't earn the title of a general if you don't have the nature to lead the armies. You're the greatest of all, a woman cannot lead a manoeuvre but you have proven what has been foretold by most people and proven them wrong," he smiled stiffly.
Yamamura nodded and left the general's tent and gathered with her men.
