*BRRRM! BRRRM!*
The deafening sound of sirens was all that the villagers of Buraun could currently hear. Every civilian ran in different directions, unaware of the impending danger.
"Come on!" A warrior with a blue headband directed, waving his hand as he guided lost villagers. "Right this way!"
It was unexpected. Not a single person in the village knew what was going on. In all of Buraun's history, these sirens have rarely ever sounded. The nations were at peace, and villages swore off war. So…
…What happened?
Within the crowd of fleeing villagers, a particular group of four people could be seen. Their expressions, despite the chaos, remained neutral. These four people were also unofficially referred to as "Team Ganbaru."
"They're scared shitless." Yui chuckled, watching as people tripped over each other in a state of panic. "People have gotten too soft. Goes to show how weak Adonai really is."
Touma scoffed. "Calm it, Yui. We need to stay focused and wait for our queue."
Rei, who stood off to the side, started stretching. "I'm just glad that we can finally get some action. It's been a while since we had to fight."
Touma merely nodded at Rei's words, fixating his gaze on something else. "How about you, Kono? Ready?"
Kono, the familiar blonde-haired member of Team Ganbaru, smiled, jabbing a thumb into the air. "Ready as I'll ever be!"
Suddenly, Touma's palm began to glow, making everyone's eyes steel. The scarred male then closed his hand, forcing the resonating hue in his palm to disperse quickly. Turning to his partners, Touma said:
"Let's get those barriers down for them, shall we?"

Mr. Oshieru was on edge, to say the least. Although the instructor had raced to the home section of the barracks, the blue-haired man couldn't find a single warrior patient enough to slow down and talk to.
"Damn it…"
Behind Oshieru, Tanjo took a step closer. "Mr. Oshieru, what is happening?"
The curiosity and nervousness made Oshieru unnerved. Of course, throughout their entire lives, the students had never experienced a scenario such as this. The sole reason Oshieru wasn't in a complete panic was slightly due to his training and the information he had gathered over the years.
After all, an emergency such as this only stems from…
'...A territorial breach.' Mr. Oshieru thought silently, looking at Tanjo without uttering a word.
"We're heading back to the academy," Oshieru then spoke. "We'll be safe there, the other instructors, including me, will do their best to keep you all safe!"
Akogare chimed in. "But… didn't Lieutenant Kou tell us to stay here?"
Oshieru turned his attention to Akogare. "Yeah, but the latter half of her plan didn't go as planned. So, this calls for us to improvise a bit."
Although remaining in the barracks is an alternative, the academy is brimming with active instructors who are similar to Oshieru—including Mr. Akushon from Class 1AR.
With the new idea in mind, Class 1AB started dashing out of the home section of the barracks. However, as they were escaping the barracks, Oshieru spotted something confusing.
The two siblings from Ryakudatsu were stranded as multiple warriors rushed past them. Oshieru wasn't entirely sure of where they had been residing, but now wasn't the time to leave them in such a predicament.
"Students! Once you reach the exit, stay put and wait for me!" Oshieru ordered, dashing off from the ground in a different direction. The instructor's speed still amazed the class, even after witnessing it a handful of times.
Most of the students adorned confused expressions. Naderamu, however, focused on the task at hand. "You heard him! Get to the exit—he'll catch up to us soon!"

"Toshiro! Do you know what's happening!?"
In shock, the siblings Sona and Toshiro had been left bewildered by the recent events. All that they could see currently was the hastened state of several warriors of all classes passing by, ignoring them as if they weren't even there.
Toshiro huffed. "Not sure. But, from where these warriors are running, I can make a rough guess that they're heading to the village borders."
Sona eyed Toshiro skeptically. "What makes you say that?"
"Well, the barracks are on the outskirts of the town. Beyond here are the village walls. And, from the looks of it, they're heading right to it!" Toshiro exclaimed, scanning his surroundings.
Without a moment's notice, a shadow blocked out the sun from the siblings' view. Looking up, Sona and Toshiro immediately spotted a man with blue hair, and a blue vest to match. His gray eyes were locked on the both of them.
"Wait…" Sona mumbled. "You're that teacher from before!"
Oshieru nodded. "Yes, I am, but that isn't important. The village is going on lockdown and you need to get somewhere safe."
Toshiro gained a perplexed countenance. "But isn't the barracks the safest place in the village?"
"Not when it's currently being evacuated!" Oshieru replied, picking both of the siblings up into his arms.
Sona looked up to Oshieru for a split second. "Then, where are we going!?"
Oshieru looked down at Sona. "Somewhere safer and—"
*BOOM!*
Interrupting Oshieru was a giant explosion. Several homes in the barracks had been blown to pieces within mere seconds. Debris flew everywhere, leaving nothing but remnants of the home's previous state.
"—And not somewhere that is currently under attack!" Oshieru finished what he was saying, sprinting away with both of the siblings secured in his arms.
As Oshieru was running, all the instructor could hear were yells, then he was overwhelmed by the noise of explosions. In moments, the entire barracks had become unsafe. All Oshieru could hope for was that the inner-town of Buraun and his students would be unharmed.
'How did they get past our barrier so quickly?' Oshieru thought to himself, never losing concentration of where he was running. 'Surely with all of those warriors, the barriers were heavily fortified!'

At the walls of Buraun, numerous warriors could be seen fending off a plethora of attacks. Multiple mini-sized barriers were conjured in hopes of keeping the enemies at bay. So far, it has proved to be futile.
Warriors were dropping like flies, humungous blasts wiping out everyone in their path. Suddenly, unidentified figures began to swoop in, quickly subduing all of the warriors they confront.
Kou just happened to be caught up in the middle of this. "Stay strong! We need more men to be holding off the incoming adversaries, or it won't be long until they fully breach Buraun!"
"They just keep coming!" An unnamed warrior shouted, hiding behind a small, yellow barrier.
Kou hard this. "Don't become overwhelmed! We don't know how many of them there are yet!"
As Kou was hollering this, the warrior hiding behind the yellow barrier was then stabbed through the gut, a blade piercing through his skin and armor. The warrior's barrier dissipated, revealing the dying warrior falling to the ground.
As the warrior fell, a figure that was responsible for the killing could be seen wearing all black, their face concealed by a mask that resembled a fox.
Kou scowled. 'Who are these people!?'
Brandishing a sword from her waist, Kou let the blade become encompassed by a purple hue. With this, she lunged at the mask-wearing adversary.
The enemy quickly responded by dashing forward. The two clashed blades. However, before the masked figure could react, Kou grabbed their fox mask—*BOOM!*—letting a beam blast out of her hand, annihilating the adversary instantly.
Kou let her sword retract to her side, only to hear the sound of more enemies landing all around her, prompting the brown-haired warrior to assume another stance.
This time, it appeared that roughly six or more mask-wearing adversaries challenged her.
"How about instead of staring at me, you fight me!" Kou howled, initiating the fight.

"What's taking Mr. Oshieru so long?" Utsukushi asked, looking off into the distance.
Doing as told, Class 1AB halted at the entrance of the barracks. As they did this, several booming sounds radiated in their ears, frightening them all.
"I'm not sure, but I'm also not sure about how much longer we can stay here!" Meisei stated, eyeing a suspicious trail of smoke rising to the sky in the
distance.
Sukudo's eyes suddenly widened. "Mr. Oshieru is coming!"
That garnered the attention of every student, following the gaze of their brown-haired classmate.
True to Sukudo's words, Mr. Oshieru made his way back, leaping from several tall structures on the way back. But, the students then noticed something in the instructor's arms.
"Are those… kids?" Meisei questioned, stupified.
Naderamu proceeded to speak, "He must've seen them as we were leaving."
As soon as Mr. Oshieru got in a close enough proximity, the blue-haired instructor then hollered:
"Head back to Buraunmajikku! It's not safe here!"
*KABOOM!*
The students then heard the sound of another giant booming, prompting them to look in the direction it came from.
"Well, that's not good!" Tanjo hollered, noticing the majority of the barracks being destroyed.
In this instance, Class 1AB started running, heading toward the inner-town of Buraun.
As they were running, Akogare looked toward his teacher. "Mr. Oshieru! What's going on!? Are we under attack!?"
Oshieru didn't bother to steer his head to face his blonde student. "Just keep running, we'll be notified of what's happening there!"

Well, doesn't this seem hectic!? Will Class 1AB learn what's happening? What will happen to Kou? And what about the siblings, and how will they react to all of this!? Stay tuned for more!
Have a Great Day!
