Hey! Quick epilogue! I was struggling on deciding if this should be filler or not. But, I finally decided on what it will be. We haven't had any filler as of late, and this can serve as a quick break and go more into the character's depth. It doesn't necessarily add to the plot, only building the chemistry of certain characters; something that will still happen in canon.
(This chapter is optional for your reading, hence it being filler.)
It won't be long, just long enough for me to push out a chapter so I don't leave ya in the dark for so long!
Enjoy!
Class 1AR. The class is full of aspiring warriors that belong to the Red Aura Sense. They are also more experienced than those of Class 1AB, mainly due to managing a progressive year with no hindrances, such as the invasion of the Kodaina forest, which put a halt on Class 1AB's training.
Within the barriers of Buraun, we can see a teenager with spiky, navy-blue hair walking through the village trails with his hands in his pockets. This particular student is Mushi Kuroru. This teenager was one of the students who battled valiantly against the rivaling first-year class, Class 1AB. He was responsible for creating and manipulating masses of red ants, using them for both navigation and to trap his opponents.
Mushi Kuroru is known to be incredibly laid-back, attentive, as well as supportive. His azure-blue eyes skimmed the trails of Buraun, looking at anything, for anything. It was a boring day, to say the least. Or, at least it was until someone called out to him unexpectedly.
"Hey, Kuroru! Wait up!"
The navy-blue-haired student turned around swiftly, spotting the source of the voice instantly. "Fumetsu?"
Isho Fumetsu—or just Fumetsu—was a proud, optimistic student. He had bright-orange hair, a build that was significantly bigger than most students his age, and short, orange sideburns that trailed off down to his ears in length. "Why're you just walking around? You look miserable!"
Kuroru merely shrugged and said, "I have nothing to do. We don't have any classes, and I'm not sure as to where everybody else is. I also don't feel like looking for them." His laziness was a slight issue at times. Maybe having magically created bugs doing his dirty work is too sedentary to need much physical work.
Fumetsu just smiled. "Well, that's why the rest of Class 1AR have come together to hang out! We haven't done much together. So, with us finally returning home, we thought it would be a great idea to build chemistry!"
Kuroru deadpanned. "You certainly like to talk, huh?" the lazy teenager then stretched his arms. "But it sounds better than walking aimlessly around Buraun."
Fumetsu pivoted on the balls of his feet, beginning to walk in the direction from which he came. He raised an arm and beckoned for Kuroru to follow, "Alright! This way!"

The sounds of indistinguishable conversations could be heard from within the Village Information Center. Being the building that held most of the village's knowledge, it was used as a communal library and for public announcements, varying from politics to everyday news.
The door to the Village Information Center opened, presenting us with the sight of Mushi Kuroru and Isho Fumetsu strolling into the building. Upon entering, Fumetsu halted. "The guys should be toward the Library Section of this place." The orange-haired student informed Kuroru in a hushed tone, not wanting to garner the attention of the civilians around him.
Kuroru nodded in response, following the orange-haired boy throughout the Village Information Center. They walked all the way up until they reached a sign on the wall with text imprinted on its golden plate. The Village Library—They had arrived.
"Hey! Airhead! Bug Lover! We're over here!" An overly aggressive voice could be heard, radiating throughout what felt to be the entire building. The owner of the loud voice was Jigyo Tsukideru, a student within Class 1AR who has spiky gray hair and silver eyes.
Beside him, another student with the same exact hair color, but black eyes, flailed his arms in fear. "Jigyo! Don't be so loud!" He was Suteru Tsukideru, brother to Jigyo.
Sitting down in one of the chairs with a book in her hand was a girl with messy walnut-brown hair that extended down to her shoulders in length. Her chocolate brown eyes went from the book to Fumetsu and Kuroru in an instant. With a wave of her hand, she hollered, "Hey, guy! Oh? You found Kuroru! Good job, Fumetsu!" This girl was Haichi Kenshutsu.
"Stop being so loud!"
With the fruitless attempts of Suteru's warnings, it seemed that the rest of the class was as lively as ever. However, one person seemed to be missing. Fumetsu raised a brow in confusion and asked, "Where's Kakudo at?"
A pregnant silence filled the room. No one spoke up until a familiarly heavy-set voice got their attention: "I'm over here!" Walking into the library was Kuchu Kakudo, holding several books in his hands. "I was gathering history books to study! Something we should all be doing with our free time!"
"HELL NO!" Jigyo hollered, glaring at Kakudo.
As Kakudo was going to reprimand Jigyo, he spotted the book in Kenshutsu's hands. "Hey, Kenshutsu, what book is that? I don't recognize the cover."
Kenshutsu's eyes gleamed with glee. "It's about the story of an old king from Adonai who managed to defeat one of the Mighty Kyujo's from Shanti!"
Kuroru took a step forward, gazing at the book in Kenshutsu's hands. "Really? Which king was it?"
Kenshutsu looked at Kuroru with a grin and said, "King Hozon the Great! Ruler of the sixth greatest village in Adonai history, known as Densetsu!"
Kakudo perked up at the walnut-brown-haired girl's words. "How does it say it happens?" Being able to take out a Kyujo, one of the mightiest warriors in all of the three nations, you have to be strong. They rule all of Shanti for a reason.
"King Hozon was well-known as a man who could use his aura print to a significant degree. With the ability to blind an entire field by spreading nano-sized magic, he could defeat multiple men!" Kenshutsu informed giddily, her eyes narrowing in on the pages of the book. "His village resided on the edge of Adonai, close to another great and historic leader named Tsubasa Mibojin! The nation's first-ever Queen, who then went on to lead the nation's third-greatest village! I forget the name, though."
Jigyo slammed his foot onto one of the tables, anger being a present feature in his face. "So what!?" A cocky grin found its way onto his lips, "Two old geezers duking it out? They're generations old! We'll be stronger than them in no time!"
"How do you know?" Fumetsu asked out loud, looking at Jigyo with curiosity, "They didn't become rulers for their strength alone, you know. It takes a lot of bravery and ingenuity, too!"
"Are you calling me dumb, Airhead!?" Jigyo demanded, clenching his fist tightly.
Kuroru raised both of his hands, noticing where the direction of this conversation is going. It always goes this way. "Alright, guys, calm down. No need to fight abo—"
"NO! I'll have you know that I'm the smartest in the academy!" Jigyo boasted, his fist pounding against his chest.
Fumetsu sighed. "You're not going to let this go, will you?"
"Not a chance!" Jigyo answered, his eyes glued to Fumetsu with a determined glare. "And I know the perfect way to settle this!"
A sweat drop emerged onto every student's head upon hearing those words. 'Please, no'
Jigyo grinned darkly and hollered, getting the attention of everyone in the vicinity—
"I CHALLENGE YOU, ISHO FUMETSU, TO A DUEL!"
XXX
I kinda hope you get the "I challenge you to a duel" reference! This filler is kind of fun to make, and I also added a bit of foreshadowing to the plot! But it's so minuscule that it doesn't affect anything, even if you don't discover it! Part Two will be coming out soon!
Have a Great Day!
