With the passage of time in Ryakudatsu, the sun may be seen lowering over the horizon once more. As the night ventures closer, the sky gradually darkens with each passing second.
In Ryakudatsu, we can see a familiar crimson-haired male standing between two buildings, hiding as he glances at the darkening sky. "It seems that I am running out of time." Yuso has had no luck in finding his and his master's 'piece'. With him already setting off the warriors of Ryakudatsu upon him entering, he must move more urgently.
Yuso proceeded to step out from between the buildings, which basically formed an alleyway. Yuso then looked around. "I can still feel them. They're definitely near." The red-headed male continued his search around the village, the dim sky aiding him in staying hidden. Not that many people appeared to be out.
On the path Yuso was traversing, three warriors in light-blue armor appeared, seemingly doing a patrol. Upon spotting the warriors, Yuso changed his path, heading in a completely new direction. Starting a fight while the village is potentially on high alert isn't a smart move. Stealth is the game Yuso must play to be most efficient during his search. Throughout the duration of Yuso's arrival in Ryakudatsu, his senses have been constantly triggered. The feeling of his target residing in the village constantly makes its way to Yuso. All Yuso had to do was find where the feeling was coming from.
Lately, as Yuso wandered about, the presence of others began to reach him. Four unique people, to be exact. They were almost intimidating in how numerous and powerful they were. However, Yuso couldn't dare be distracted from his mission. His master was ever so cordial in giving Yuso the direction of his target, so losing sight of his goals wouldn't end well.
Suddenly, the feeling of his target surged. He must be close. In an instant, Yuso began sprinting toward the surging sense. Grab the target and get out. That was all the redhead needed. Yuso even resorted to supplying his legs with his aura sense, enabling Yuso to miraculously hop from the ground, onto the rooftops of the buildings.
Surprisingly, Yuso halted his movements. Something caught his eyes. "There you are."

"Sona, you don't possibly plan for us to exit through the gates, right? It's most likely guarded at all times."
A dubious Toshiro could be heard questioning the light-brown-haired girl. Sona was still marching, faint fatigue hitting her as she continued to push forward throughout the village. Sona spoke up, "It's becoming night. We can probably sneak around."
Toshiro squinted his eyes at Sona, breathing in to speak, "Seriously? I meant that it was guarded by 'warriors.' You know, the people who are trained to kill at a moment's notice? I don't think the dark is enough to sneak by them. "
Sona huffed, anger still being present in her features. She then perked up her head slightly, turning around to glance behind her. "Mizuki, you've been quiet this whole time. What do you suggest we do to get out?"
Mizuki, who was walking the slowest and being behind the other two kids, lifted his head to look at Sona to answer, "Uhm. How about we create a distraction?"
Sona remained quiet for a few moments, eyeing Mizuki suspiciously. "Mizuki... That's a great idea! Where have you been this whole time!"
"I've been here the whole time." Mizuki quietly replied.
Sona clapped, diverting the attention back to her. "Whatever! Now, we need to find a diversion, and fast!"
Suddenly, the sound of someone clapping could be heard. The clapping resonated between the buildings all around. A shadowy figure then emerged from behind one of the buildings. The figure was clad in a black cloak with red lines streaking down the sleeves and a hood draped over their head. "Good job! It sounds like a full-proof plan!" The figure spoke out gratifyingly, the tone sounding masculine. The figure then halted his clapping. "But, there is one miscalculation." The figure moved their hands up to remove the hood from their head, revealing their features. "How are you going to escape us?"
Toshiro immediately caught onto the man, who can now be seen as Regashi, instantly focusing on the word 'us'. Before any of the munchkins could utter a single word, brilliant flames appeared behind them, swirling in a clockwise motion. Shortly after the first swirl of flames appeared, more flames began to encompass the area around the three. With the flames dying down, various people could then be seen surrounding them.
It was every member of the Furusato Unit.
Sona scowled, then yelled out indignantly, "Who are you!?"
Regashi smirked at the girl's anger. "Oh, no one important. Not to you, at least."
Regashi then snapped abruptly. Upon him snapping, Imawashiki walked forward, reaching out to grab Mizuki. "We're here for the boy."
As Imawashiki was reaching out to grab Mizuki, a red flash sped past, halting Imawashiki's movement. Everyone in the vicinity immediately looked up to the rooftop of a building, instantly spotting the source of the sudden attack.
Upon noticing the cause of the sudden attack, Regashi raised an eyebrow. "Oh? I didn't think you would ever appear anywhere near here?"
On the rooftop was Yuso, both of his palms shining a bright red. "It appears that you're wrong. That child is my target."

Sorry about my inconsistency! I've been dealing with familial issues, along with having to depart early for this chapter. I wanted to get a quick one that'll prepare us for what's to come next. I sadly won't be posting any chapters for a week due to be having to visit a sick parent, but I promise that I'll be back on the grind as soon as I make my return. Stay tuned for more!
Have a Great Day(And please look out for yourselves. You're important.)
