Exile or stay
With his first battle in the brawling Alcatraz, he took the beast cores and stored in in a leather bag. Unfortunately, he had no place where he could store his beast cores, so what he and Raaz could just do was to hide it. Damien kept the beast cores under his bed, he made sure to hide it where no one could easily fond it, he could later use it in the future to create an amazing beast weapon. But for now, his prime mission was to get the book from his father's room. After his mother left him with Raaz, he waited for a while, and when he was sure that his father was out of the house, he went stealthy. He made sure that even the slightest sound of the creaking door wouldn't be heard. With the help of Raaz, he was able to get the book easily. Now, he went straight for the spell section, he didn't need to be reading about the Hellhounds when he already knew that he was a hell mage. Damien searched for the spells which he could easily master, and not the long ones or the ones that needed a specific potion or sacrifice. Damien twirled his fingers, and then said the particular spell.
"Ignise!" Nothing happened at all, he just stared at the empty air in disdain Damien tried a few others but nothing happened, he was utterly disappointed but didn't give up. He kept on trying but yet none worked. Although one thing he noticed was that his tongue was a bit different, like the way he pronounced the spells. It was like his accent changed, and he also heard the echo of his own voice.
'Dammit! I unlocked something just to find nothing. I need to level up if I want to see something interesting.' Damien took the spell book along with him, he walked back to his room back again. Damien wanted to keep on practicing, but soon got tired.
'I shall rest for a while, before we go hunting for exps.'
Dylan rested for a while, before getting Raaz ready for the brawling Alcatraz. Dylan imagined the same word picturing in front of him. The words first came as some odd symbols before finally displaying what he needed. He didn't waste time is saying yes. He and Raaz transported right into the tomb once again. This time, there were two portals, one which was for the basic tier beast, and the other which was for the centarion beast. This was their next destination they were done with the low level beasts, since he gained little or zero points when fighting them. Damien and Raaz both jumped into the portal. This time, they found themselves in a hot desert, Damien was burning under the hot sun, but that wasn't his purpose for coming. He was here only to level up, and not rate the place which he found himself. Raaz heightened his senses, he could feel a predator coming ahead. Raaz made a gesture, signifying for Damien to get to somewhere safe.
'Nah it's ok my man, I want to lead you into war.'
A slimy creature stormed out of the sands, the creature was 3 feet tall, and had spikes all over its body, as it crawled in a zigzag manner, as it advanced forward.
"Now!!"
Raaz charged at the creature with enough speed, that he was sure the creature wouldn't be able to escape. But suddenly, when Raaz was in close range, the creature dug into the ground. Raaz turned round, looking out for the creature in case it just came out of nowhere. The creature's underground movement could be noticed with the help of the sands which showed its' body structure and movements. The creature was already heading for them. Raaz growled as he awaited his opponent. Ralph would be considered as an alpha wolf if he had to join the pack. He wasn't afraid of a mere centarion beast, he was stronger, faster, and more intelligent, even more than his peers. Raaz roared out in anger, before using several ices to point at the exact spot which the creature would come out from. The creature didn't expect this, and so the attack caught its' prey by surprise. Damien smiled when he saw the creature lie helplessly on the floor. Damien had an evil smirk as they advanced slowly towards it. Damien pointed out to Raaz where the beast core was, Raaz did as he was told, extracting the yellow glowing crystal from the lower part of its' body.
"Well, we sure do need to kill more."
Damien and Raaz both walked down the sand hill, to see three more earth reptiles, all ready for battle.
"Wehoo. This would be harder than I thought."
Raaz immediately launched at its' opponent. The earth reptiles quickly created a min sand tornado around them, causing Raaz to stop in his tracks. Raaz tried getting past the tornado with his ice blades, but none of them worked, it only repelled backwards. The two were so focused on trying to break in that they didn't notice an earth reptile creep behind them. Raaz picked up the sharp wind moving in his direction. He didn't wait to look, but instead ran to the left side. The earth reptile hadn't landed when Raazs' Claws greeted him, he kept on hitting the creature till it had its' last breath.
Raaz used the ice element of surprise to take their shield down. He used absolute zero inducement to take them down. There was no way they could escape, but only meet their bitter fate of dying at the moment. Damien received more rewards again, and also extracted their cores, placing them all in his brown leather bag.
[New Main ability unlocked: Fire animation]
[Sub class: Fire thread]
[Ability grade: D1]
"Well, well, looks like something interesting finally happens."
Dylan had an inward grin when he saw the message. He now had a main ability and a sub class one. This meant that he could now try a few spell.
"Uthron vuriom!"
A thin fire thread started weaving from different directions, Damien twirled his fingers, as he controlled the threads' specific movement. Damien smiled when he saw the results, he could now use his hellhound magic. The next thing that happened wasn't so pleasing. The fire loom exploded, almost taking Damien down from Raaz.
"Damn that was very strong."
Damien and Raaz decided to head back to the other realm. Raaz also had a smile on his face as they walked out of the portal. Turns out Damien wasn't the only one who got powers
