**ADDIE'S POV**
I didn't realize how much of my life had started to revolve around Nolan and work. With him gone and work effectively canceled for me until I was done with the academy, I was finally seeing what it was like for me and I wasn't sure what to think about it.
There were a few things that became clear to me though. As this long and lonely week before the academy stretched before me, I realized that I needed to gain some independence. And what better place to do that than at the academy?
I loved Nolan, more than I ever thought that I could love someone. I loved my family as well, all four branches of it and their many different walks of life that they were in at the moment. I loved all of it and wanted to do my best to make sure that things were good for them no matter what.
