**ADDIE'S POV**
I just sat there, watching the images on the screen. Erickson, Dad, was looking at Jonesy like he had just recently been sobbing. I could tell that something really bad must have happened, because in all my time with them, I had never seen a look like this on my father's face.
"Erickson, what happened?" Jonesy asked him, momentarily forgetting the reason that he was there.
"Come in, Jonesy. I do not wish to discuss this on the porch like this." Dad stepped aside and let him inside.
"Thank you, Erickson. I do not know what happened, but I can tell that it was something very serious. However, I have something that I need to talk to you about. Something that is very important." He patted the baby under the blanket that was wrapped around him.
