I still had a heavy heart as I left Adelia's life behind. I had known how it was going to end. Long before the end of her life, I had started to feel all of her memories flooding into my mind, and I saw the death of the girl twice. I saw it with my eyes in the hall, but I was seeing it in my head at the same time. Only in my mind, I wasn't watching it like it was a movie that was playing out before me. In my head, I was the one that was being beheaded. I was seeing that man cut my own head off. And the memory had ended abruptly when his axe swung down and severed that life's connection with that world.
