**ADDIE'S POV**
"Well Addie, I wanted to tell you something that I realized recently. And while this might not be the ideal situation to tell you, I don't want to wait. Addie… I… I love you."
I felt like I had just been slapped in the face. The words that I had just heard could not be true. This wasn't happening. This couldn't be happening. Could it? I mean, really? Was that really what he wanted to tell me? Was that what he really said?
The more that I thought about it, the more that I played those words over and over in my head, the more that I thought I had to have misunderstood him. That was not what he wanted to tell me. That had not even been what he said. No, not at all. I bet that was just my mind playing tricks on me. I had realized that I am in love with him, and so my mind was playing games with me. That was it. It had to be.
