Chapter 3 - 3[The chief son and the bird person]

Filled with hatred I travel for years through the forsaken lands hunting the dark god's followers leaving destruction in my wake

Improving my skills by leaps and bounds as the days go by I believe.

" To think a human would make it here," says the dark god surprised.

"I didn't come here to play games," I say in a cold voice charging at him.

Then with the clash of our swords, the battle begins. Sparks fly everywhere from the intensity at which our swords slam against each other.

" Why don't we end this," screams the dark god.

"That's what I was thinking," I reply smugly swinging at him with all my might.

Then for What I can feel in my bones is the final time our swords clashed. I can feel my strength waning my knees buckling under me. At this rate, I won't hold for much longer.

"Why don't you just give up human there's no way you can beat me the dark god, you never had a chance," he says.

"There no way I'd lose to trash like you," I say pushing him back.

"Impossible, how can a mere human overpower me the dark god," he says falling to the ground defeated.

Then out of nowhere I see a familiar figure in a corner of my and grabbing the demon king's sword I followed it.

I am not sure for how long, but as I get closer to it Recognize it as the small winged bird person I followed all those years ago trying desperately to catch up to it.

I increase my pace, though for some reason time just seems to be moving at a standstill then a bright white light envelops my vision.

At that moment as I am enveloped by the white light I think about all the pain and hardships I have endured to get to this point.

Also how I could have avoided all of I had just stayed in that village

Yet at the end, as the white takes me I realize that in it all I have no regrets whatsoever about how I spent my life.

The End

Seated at on one of the many beautifully carved wooden library tables, surround by an expanse of books that would even the greatest of scholar mad with jealousy is a blue-haired boy his eyes glued to a book reading it at a vigorous pace, what book you ask The chronicles of the chief son and the bird person.

Who is this boy and what is he doing, well first of all his name is Okumura yatiza and he happens to be a citizen of one of the five great kingdoms the Ramon kingdom to be exact and is currently enrolled as a student of Vasir academy. he is a member of the library management committee his du and an upstanding member of society

"Crap there I go again talking like I am in some book, " I say embarrassed at the thought of having done such a thing.

" What absolute crap," I think, dissatisfied once again with the ending of one of my favourite novels the chief and the bird person.

"First of all the story felt super rushed!

"The build-up to the final fight was practically nonexistent!

"But worst of all we're the many detrimental time skips and grammar errors

"I must digress it's not as though it doesn't have any good points

"For example as unpopular, an opinion as it may be, as a book nerd, I must admit the first fight with his master wasn't half bad

"As well as the overall message of pushing through pain and hardship

" But in the end, as a whole, it truly is a novel of the lowest grade, at least for those other than me," I say chuckling under my breath.

"What can I say, it's a habit of mine I can seem to get rid of," I say under my breath biting the top of my lip

"I just want to eat with my friend, what the big deal," yells a person to my left angrily.

"Well, I guess it's about time I step in," I say cursing under my breath
