Luo Muchen finally came back to himself and turned to look at Nana Qie. "Oh, I am sorry. I was lost in thought just now," he said his voice slightly hoarse.
"You're missing out. Are you sure you don't want to get a foot treatment?" chuckled Grandma Wen, her voice echoing slightly in the spacious room.
"Yes, a strong massage would straighten out those knots," teased Nana Qie, wagging a freshly manicured finger at him. From his silence and zombie-like appearance, they assumed that the conversation had indeed made him uncomfortable so they tried to change the subject.
His cheeks flushed from embarrassment. If only these elders knew what he was planning to do with their grandson. They would probably faint from anger.
He ducked his head, a bashful grin spreading across his face. "I think the sauna's heat is enough for today," he mumbled, but the two women only laughed harder, their affectionate teasing a familiar and comforting melody.
