Cherry said "Of course, You were the one that taught me. If I didn't get this much, all your hard work would've gone in vain. Isn't that right Ume." At that moment my friend Ume came and gave me a hug. "Ehh?!" Ume was never the type of person who would give people hugs. I was Shocked.
"Aoi.. Thank you. Cherry is right. If it weren't for u, even I wouldn't have passed. I got the same marks as Cherry and it is only because u helped us, the both of us. I am very thankful that you are my friend." Ume's words shook my heart to the core.
I never thought my friends actually thought of me like that. Maybe I am just a block head? lol
Cherry is the eldest daughter of her family. She has 2 younger siblings, a brother and a sister. Since She is the eldest, her parents doesn't pay much attention to her causing her to not pay attention to studying. She studied in the capital for three years and came to my school for grade 4. We were in the same class and we apparently had the greatest times of our life in grade four. We had so similar tastes that we became inseparable. Lets not forget about Ume.
Ume is the second child of her family and her life may not be the best. She has depression but it mostly has been cured when cherry came to our school. Me and Cherry separated in grade four but Ume and Cherry went to the same class. They became the greatest of friends since then. Even though she ended up at another class at grade 6, she kept in contact with both of us. Me and Ume were in the same class at grade 6 and we may not have had the greatest relationship. Some could even say that we were like fire and ice. but after getting to know each other, we came to the relationship that we have now. The greatest friends of all times.
"HEYY!! Aoiiiii!! How much did you get? Im pretty sure you got 30 or something. Hah! I got 37!! beat that!!" The person who ruined the great mood was the class bully, Hana, Hana Sato. Being from a rich family she really likes to step all over the students who she thinks are good. I wanted to say something but Ume suddenly cut in between us and said " Oooh!! 37 huh!! Aoi got 39. beat that u ridiculous block head!!" Even though that seemed like nothing, Hana's pride was literally broken by those simple words. She was so red that she immediately ran away back to her seat to not embarrass herself more. "HAHAHAAA!! Good one Ume. LOLLL!! She really deserves it. Who allowed her to bully our Aoi." Said Cherry
Cherry and Ume's words almost melted my broken stone heart but still it was not enough. The scars that was imposed on me that day will not fade away that easily. But I felt warm. Very warm. It was the greatest thing ever, To be protected by friends.
"Oh look at the time!? its 3pm. We have to go home. Are u gonna come with us Aoi? Lets go together." asked Cherry. I wanted to go but I cant. I don't deserve this much happiness." Nah! Cant today. Have to look after my siblings." I humbly refused. "Oh its fine. We will go together another day. Take care Aoi!!" Call us ok??. Said Ume. " Ok, I will." Saying that i got out of the classroom and headed towards the station.
