Chereads / The System Of Infinity / Chapter 2 - Heaven Cannot Judge You

Chapter 2 - Heaven Cannot Judge You

The world suddenly started moving again. It was as though someone had hit the pause button of a movie before playing it again.

"Aiden, why are you standing like that? Did you realize your mistake and now think that there is nothing that you can do?" The leader smiled since, for him, this is how everyone had been his entire life. "I am still willing to let you go if you follow my instructions."

Aiden was standing extremely still as though he was in deep thought. Except his eyes were closed.

But the next moment, they flew open and it looked as though he was someone completely different.

He didn't speak anything as black-colored mist suddenly started to rise from his body. The mist engulfed his entire body and made his eyes flow.

The bullies started walking back as two of them fell down on their knees. Their expressions were so terrified that they might have peed their pants.

And judging from the foul smell in the air, it was probably true.

"Aiden, stop moving forward!" The leader of the group was the only one who managed to say anything but even his legs were shaking badly.

The person was so terrified that he was trembling hard enough for someone to believe that he was using a vibrator. Who knew, perhaps he had one on at that moment.

But Aiden wasn't listening to any of them.

His hand snapped forward as the mist extended forward and turned into claws. Two of the claws moved towards the fallen members of the group and pierced their chests.

"Eeek!" The leader suddenly screamed as he saw two of his minions lying dead on the ground. The blood from their chests had gathered around them in a pool.

It was like a pee pool but was instead red in color.

But this was enough to terrify the rest of the group as they turned around and started fleeing while screaming. Some went for the van while others decided to run while using covers.

But none of them reached their destination.

The mist around Aiden turned into bullets and started moving towards all the fleeing minions. One by one, all of them started dying.

"W-W-What are you?!" The leader of the group asked as he was the last man standing.

Aiden still didn't reply and swung his hands forward.

The leader's head rolled down on the ground. And as the body hit on the ground, a pink remote slipped out from his jacket.

So much for dying while being horni.

Aiden then slowly started to blink as his vision returned. He had been thinking about what had been wrong but when he looked forward, his entire body froze.

Dead bodies and blood covered the entire place as Aiden suddenly looked at his hands. They were stained with a few drops of blood.

But with a scream building up in his throat, he suddenly gasped.

[ Now that you have obtained your revenge, you will have to die. ] The voice said one last time as Aiden's heart stopped beating.

Moments later, all the bodies, including Aiden's vanished. The place looked as though no one had ever come there.

"Was that really necessary?" A feminine voice rang around as a beautiful woman stepped out from nowhere.

Her eyes looked calm as she started examining the place.

[ He said he wanted to have his revenge so I gave him that before sending his soul off to Infini. ]

"Jeez." The woman replied. The voice in her head belonged to the same person who had spoken to Aiden.

[ By the way, what type of warehouse is this? ]

"It's a place where trucks are assembled. Why did you ask that though?" The woman suddenly frowned as she realized the reason.

[ Being near a truck is a requirement. And don't question who made that law. ] The man instantly shut up her next question.

"Fine, I will go prepare then." The woman muttered in an annoyed tone before her expression turned serious. "Will you find the person now though?"

[ I have been looking for many years. I have created many gods, some of who are demons in disguise. But never have I found anyone worthy of this. We will just wait and see things later on. ]

'What was that?' This question had been roaming around in Aiden's mind for a long time.

He had only seen the dead bodies for a few seconds but that still left him wondering about what happened.

"You shouldn't be worried about that."

Just as he was buried deep in his thoughts, he heard a gentle voice echo inside his ears. The darkness that was clouding his vision slowly vanished as he opened his eyes.

And standing in front of him was a woman that took his breath away.

She had beautiful blue-colored hair that reached down to her waist. Her eyes were the color of snow as a small smile rested on her lips.

"Hello, Aiden." She said and Aiden felt his heart skipping a beat.

"Who are you?" But his senses kicked in as he got vary of the woman in front of him.

"Who I am? You can call me Infini, a goddess." She replied while waving her hand as the two of them suddenly appeared in space.

Below them was earth and the rest of the Milky Way. Aiden's jaw was left hanging wide open as he turned towards the woman whose name was Infini.

"A goddess?" He asked while gulping.

"Not just any goddess. I am the goddess of entertainment." She replied with a smile as Aiden gulped again.

"I know you don't believe in gods or goddesses but I am a real goddess." She said as waved her hand again as the two of them appeared in a new place.

It was Aiden's small room in his orphanage.

"I…." Aiden suddenly stuttered as he didn't know what to say. He wondered how the children in the orphanage and the owner of the orphanage would react to his death.

"You don't need to worry about that. I can make them forget about it." Infini said while looking at Aiden with sad eyes.

She already knew what he had gone through.

"How?" He could only ask that word as they appeared in a plain white room.

He was shaken by the fact that a goddess was talking to him so casually.

"It's because I am a goddess." She simply replied and looked into Aiden's eyes.

She knew that it would be hard but in the end, she still had to do it.

"Why am I here?" He then asked the only question that had been left as Infini smiled.

"Once in a while, there are people who heaven can't judge. You Aiden are someone who the heaven can't judge."
