'I wonder what he meant by classes?' Aiden wondered as he and the man appeared in a room and surprisingly it had a door.
Aiden's eyes scanned the room as he suddenly maintained a poker face. The room looked like a classroom from Earth but just a slightly modified version.
Instead of benches and chairs, the students were floating in the air. Instead of a blackboard, the classroom has letters written directly on the air which surprised Aiden
'It's not a slightly modified classroom, it's a completely different thing.' Aiden thought as he looked around once again.
Excluding Aiden, there were fifteen other children in the classroom. He then glanced at the written words and saw the teacher standing there.
The teacher was a male with ten inches long horns coming out of the side of his head. He was wearing plain black trousers with a plain white button-up shirt.
His hair were cleanly combed to the right side of his head and avoided his horns. His light blue-colored eyes were completely calm as he smiled while looking at Aiden.
"Welcome young prince. I am honored to have you as my student." The teacher said as everyone in class turned to stare at Aiden.
'Oh boy, am I going to be secluded again?' Aiden wondered with a sigh as he looked at the students who looked at him with wide.
< They fear you host. > The system suddenly chimed in as Aiden felt surprised but his face still remained expressionless.
'A title is enough to make them fear me huh. Let's see how this goes.' Aiden thought silently and moved forward as the man in black vanished.
"I don't think you know why these children are flying in the air or do you know about it?" The teacher asked as Aiden half nodded and half shook his head.
"Is it because of air elemental energy and runes?" Aiden's reply left the class and the teacher stunned.
'Did I say something wrong system?' Aiden asked his system since he didn't understand why everyone looked shocked.
< Yes, you are right host. > The system simply replied as Aiden was left confused.
Runes were symbols created using elemental energy. The type of element you used to create a rune was the same element that will activate after the completion of the rune.
The surprising thing however was that even people with weak elemental energy could create runes. There were a few people who had an affinity with a certain element but their bodies weren't able to absorb enough elemental energy for them to use it.
But in runes, they could create the symbols using what little elemental energy they had. So this meant that anyone could create runes and if you had enough perfection in it, you would be able to defeat people with an enormous amount of elemental energy while being someone with a low level of elemental energy.
"You are quite smart, prince. Our today's topic of study was elemental energy but I think that you already know this. Will you like to share some things about elemental energy?" The teacher asked as Aiden thought about it for a few minutes before shaking his head.
The teacher nodded and pointed Aiden towards a certain spot. He stood on the spot as he suddenly felt some cool breeze lifting him upwards.
After a few seconds, Aiden was floating a few feet off the ground. It was a very relaxing thing to do as Aiden calmly floated in the air. At first, he listened to what the teacher was saying but ten minutes later, he turned his attention elsewhere.
After all, the teacher was just telling him what he already knew. His attention was somewhere else.
'Why do I feel that someone is watching me from behind?' Aiden thought slowly as he glanced around the room to see if anyone else was feeling the same but all the kids were extremely focused on what the teacher was saying.
'Uh, system, is someone deliberately staring at me.' Aiden asked the system since he kept feeling that someone was watching him.
< Host, try using your shadow manipulation skill to check whether someone is watching you or not. > The system replied as Aiden kept staring straight ahead. For him to manipulate someone's shadow, he needed to be 3 meters within their radius but he found a cheat to this.
'Shadow Manipulation.' Aiden thought silently as his shadow soddenly darted behind him and extended towards the door.
'Still not enough.' Aiden thought with a sigh as he suddenly took a few inches from the shadow of the person sitting beside him.
'Good thing I am in the last row or otherwise someone would see the shadow.' Aiden thought with a relieved sigh as both the teacher and the students were absorbed in the lesson.
'Wow, someone is actually staring at me.' Aiden thought in wonder as he felt another shadow near his three feet long shadow which was hidden on the dark black floor.
Aiden then willed the person's shadow to slightly move forward as he made the shadow join his combined shadow.
He then pulled the shadow back as it contracted to look like a normal shadow but most of it was present on his back. But one of the advantages of being a demon king and queen's son was that he mostly had black and red clothes to wear and he always chose the plainest black clothes he could find so the shadow was hidden against his back.
He then willed the shadows to move even more forward as it sat on top of his head.
'Let's see who you are.' Aiden thought as he willed the shadow to turn into a small ball the size of a marble and willed it to combine with his right eyebrow.
He then slowly willed the shadow to move forward as it dropped in front of his eyes.
Another thing that Aiden found out about his skill was that he could compress the shadow and turn it into the object or person he was using the shadow from and could still see their real form while others didn't see anything.
'So who are you, spy?' Aiden asked himself as he turned the ball into the person's image.
