When Lan Lan returned to the Immortal Realm, she was first greeted by her elders in the Flower Clan. They congratulated her for ascending to High Goddess. Lan Lan knew she should feel happy about it. After all, she was going to become the next Flower Deity. Yet, there was no happiness for her. She could only think about the people she had left behind in the Mortal Realm and realization hit her.
"There's no next lifetime for me and you, Dong Hai. I'm an immortal and you... a mortal..."
The realization stung Lan Lan's heart harder and more painful than any poison. She would do anything to turn herself mortal again, so she could be with Li Dong Hai again.
Lan Lan quickly stood up from her bed and ignored the Flower Clan elders who were calling her name. Lan Lan went directly to the Sky Clan and said she wanted an audience with the Sky Emperor.
