(Free's POV)
A few days after I first met professor Macgonagal, she came back to take me to Diagon Alley.
She did not took me to gringots, instead she just gave me a pouch of galeons she had withdrown beforehand from the school's funds. It did not have much money on it, but it was more then enought to get my school's suplies.
After that we went on a shoping spree to get all the books, caulderons and etc that I needed.
Now I am back at the orphanage, counting the days till the start of the term.
I went a bit Hermione and decorated all of the course books, of course, I just had to read them once to comit all of the contents to memory. In that studing spree, I've learned a funny thing: Harry Potter is dead! Aparently, he did not survive the killing curse Voldy cast. Of course, dear old dad lost his body anyway when the curse hit Harry, but the credits for vanquishing the dark lord went to his parents.
I also practiced a bit of magic, and lemme tell ya, it is HARD! I wanted to be able to cast wandlessly all my spells, but so far I can't even do a freaking lumos without the aid of a wand! I guess I now understand the magical world reliance on these things.
Speaking of wands, mine is a 15 inches, made out of ice wolf bone for the exterior and dragon hearthstring for the core. It has a funny story atached to it: You see, when I went to Olivanders to buy it, the old shop owner thought it was funny to jumpscare me, so, I pretended I have not seen him hiding with my haki and when he tried to jumpscare me, I, 'in fright', 'acidentaly' roundhouse kicked him in the face and knocked him unconcious. A quick spell from Macgonagal woke him up.
Anyway, now that I decorated all the books and finished my magical practice for the day, I go back to my regular routine: Training my face off. I was not a training maniac in my last life, but things change, because of my immortality, I do not feel pain or get tired, so training is actualy fun for me now, plus, my werewolf form benefits greatly from my exercise, and also, it is not like there is much else to do arround here like tv and such, I don't need to eat or sleep nor have I ever seen the apeal of those things, so I just train. My hobies also include spying on the other orphans with my haki (power that allows me to sense/see my surrondings) and making ice sculptures with my mangekyo sharingan (my magical eye), but the orphans are boring and sadly, like any ice, my sculptures melt witch makes me sad, so training is still my favorite activity to pass the time.
Oh, have I not mentioned beeing a werewolf? When Fenrir Greyback ate me, he was in werewolf form, so it is logical that I got the disease (plus, the original Free was also a werewolf), my lycantropy however, is diferent from the one the magical world is used to, I can turn whenever I want and my bite is only infectious if I want it to be, also I keep control of my body when I turn. Overall, I love beeing a werewolf, as it gives me greater strenght and agility with no drawbacks. I am realy thankfull that my lycantropy is not the normal kind, turning into a frenzied beast every month does not sound very fun.
As I do handstand pushups, I brush up my knowlage of HP world. It ain't much by the way...
You see, I've never read the books nor seen the movies, all my HP knowlage comes from bits and pieces of spoilers I heard here and there, so while I know who Hermione is, I don't know who put Harry's name in the goblet of fire for exemple. I also don't know what pieces of my knowlage are canon and what are fanon.
This bugs me a bit but hey, for all I know I could be in a heavy AU and any knowlage I have is useless anyway(A/N: No, I ain't doing AU. Too complicated.)
I continue to exercise for a few days (Yes, non-stop) and before I know it, it is time to go pack to go to hogwarts.
