Prologue
In a world where power and knowledge are everything, five kingdoms coexist and each one of the kingdoms is protected by warriors and ruled by kings. There are many warriors in every kingdom but the strongest are those with a high Nature Energy Level. They are called Perfect Warriors. Once a Perfect Warrior reaches God Energy Level, he is called god. But in an ancient manuscript found in the Golden Kingdom, it was written that after each thousand years, a new warrior would be born and He would possess the power of a Synchro and reunite the kingdom until the perfect Synchro called the God King Warrior comes and reunites the five kingdoms.
The manuscript also prophesied that once the power of the Perfect Synchro is awakened, every perfect and true warrior and god will feel it, no matter where they are, and will serve the Synchro because every time a Synchro power is awakened, another powerful warrior known as the dark Synchro also awakens and all dark warriors will serve him. The winner of their battle (battle of Synchros) becomes the leader of the kingdom.
In the previous four thousand years, four Synchros have already appeared. Today while people are waiting for the next Synchro to appear, a young prince named Ash is born in the smallest, newest and weakest kingdom. He starts walking on his path, without knowing what his future will be.

Each of the five kingdoms is located on different continents and some of them share borders. There is a peace treaty between four out of the five kingdoms; however there are still conflicts and fighting over small countries and islands located on the borders of two or three kingdoms. The White Kingdom is located in the northern continent, the Black Kingdom is located in the southern continent, the Golden Kingdom is located in the eastern continent, the Red Kingdom in located in the western continent, and the Blue Kingdom is located in the southeastern continent.
The Golden Kingdom is the strongest and largest kingdom out of the five; the Red Kingdom is considered second and is the most feared because even though it was the youngest kingdom before the recent creation of the Blue Kingdom, it possesses the best resource transformation techniques and beautiful cities; the White Kingdom is considered third and is full of wise people with wonderful skills; the Black Kingdom is considered fourth and is divided into two kingdoms, the light and the dark kingdom, and, is also known as the Green Kingdom because it possesses one of the largest and most dangerous forests in the world; and the Blue Kingdom is the smallest and weakest out of the five. The Blue Kingdom is only twenty odd years old but is considered to be blessed by the heavens because it is surrounded by the ocean.

The Perfect Warriors' power is different in each of the five kingdoms because of the type of techniques, skill, and art those kingdoms have perfected for use in battle. People from each kingdom believe in a specific supreme God and several other gods.

Chapter 1: The Royal Family
"Hello, Ash! How are you! Happy birthday! Today you are twelve-years-old but you are still young and you can't understand who I am and what your destiny is or should I say our destiny. I'll talk to you again on your fifteenth birthday. Until then, try your best to obtain a good understanding of your family, your kingdom, and this world."
Ash heard these words within his head as he woke. Then the voice vanished.
What a strange dream! This is the first time I ever remember a dream so clearly, Ash thought. Was it really a dream or….? Never mind, today is my birthday. I can't wait to get gifts from my Parents and my brothers.
Ash was about to open the door of his room when a beautiful voice rang in the other side of the door.
"Ash? Did you wake up already?" The voice was soft and gentle.
Ash quickly answered, "Yes, Mom, I woke up a little earlier today."
When he opened the door, his mother and sister stood in front of him, both smiling. His brown-haired mother was dressed in blue and wore a crown on top of her head. Her name was Rose and she was the queen of the Blue Kingdom.
"Big brother, happy birthday! You are now twelve. It's a big day." Ash's beautiful young sister Rosy, ten-years-old, looked excited. She looked just like their mother, with brown hair and dressed in blue.
"Yes, sister! Thank you for coming to see me," Ash said. "You're right, this is a big day. So what gift did you bring?"
"It's a surprise; I'll give it to you when everybody else gives you their gifts in the main hall," she answered with a smile.
"Oh. I hope it's really a good gift," Ash said.
"I'm sure you will like it," Rosy said.
"Okay, now that you are awake, go and look for Miss Jenny," Queen Rose said. "She will help prepare you for your birthday. Don't worry, I already told her everything. After you finish, come to the main hall. We will be waiting for you."
"Okay, Mom." Ash said
Miss Jenny was a beautiful young lady of about thirty-years-old; she had taken care of both Ash and his sister since they were born.
"Young prince! You are here. Happy birthday! Time really flies. Looking at you now, I can barely believe you are already twelve," Miss Jenny said to Ash as she prepared him for his birthday.

The king's office
"Leon greets Royal Father," Leon said.
Leon was a young man of about twenty-two-years-old. He has black hair and black eyes. He was wearing black clothes and stood behind the desk of an older, more mature man who was looking at a picture in front of him; in the picture, one could see all the members of the royal family.
"You came. How is the situation?" the king asked with his imposing voice.
"Reporting to Royal Father. All the rebels in Silver City have been captured or killed but we did not find their chief. When we asked some of the rebels we captured, they said they did not know where their chief is, and that only the person in charge of one hundred rebels knows how to find their chief," Leon answered.
"I see that man is clever. It's already been two years but we don't even know what he looks like. Do you need my help or His help?" the king asked with some hesitation.
"Royal Father, please give me one more year. If I can't find him I will request your help," Leon said.
"Oh, okay. I will give you one more year. But after that if you still haven't found him, I'll ask HIM to help you," King James said.
"Thank you, Royal Father," Leon said.
"All right then. We can go now. I think it's almost time for Ash's birthday celebration," King James said with a smile. He was always happy when he talked about Ash.

The Main Hall
There was a big table with eight chairs in the main hall of the palace; three chairs of the table were facing each other in the east and west and two chairs were facing each other in the north and south.
Two young people—Jack, the nineteen-year-old vice-captain of the third department; and Alexis, the fifteen-year-old direct disciple of the captain of the second department—were sitting on the west side of the table and there was an empty chair for the crown prince Leon, the twenty-two-year-old captain of the first department. Davy, the seventy-year-old captain of the fifth department, and Rosy, the ten-year-old only princess of the kingdom, were sitting on the east side of the table. King James and Queen Rose sat at the north and south sides of the table.
After the king and the crown prince arrived, all the king's children stood up and greeted them at the same time.
"Jack greets Royal Father and Big Brother," Jack said.
"Davy greets Royal Father and Big Brother," Davy said.
"Alexis greets Royal Father and Royal Brother," Alexis said.
Before they even finished greeting and paying their respects, Rosy had already run toward her father. "Daddy, we were waiting for you for a long time. I was worried that you'll be too busy and would not come to Big Brother's birthday."
"How could I miss your big brother's birthday?" King James asked. Then he looked at his children and wife and noticed that Ash was not among them. "Where is Ash? Shouldn't he be here already?"
Just then, the door of the main hall pushed open and a young boy stood there. He wore a red robe made especially for this event. He was handsome and his face shone like a star.
"Ash greets Royal Father, Royal Mother, and big brothers. Sorry I'm late." He bowed to his father.
"Oh oh oh, don't be so formal. You can call me Daddy, come, don't worry I also just arrived a while ago," King James answered with a smile.
"Big Brother! Come and sit, we've been waiting for you," Rosy said.
And without waiting any longer, Ash went to his sister's place and sat on her left side. On his right side, he saw Davy smiling at him.
"Big Brother Davy, you are here! Where is my gift?" Ash asked.
"Wait! After Mother and Father give you their gift, I will also give you mine," Davy answered.
"Okay," Ash replied with a smile.
Ash and Davy had always been close because Davy was the one who came most to the royal palace to teach him a lot of things.
King James cleared his throat and spoke. "Today we are all here to congratulate our son and your brother who is now twelve and will soon start to walk on his path to become a man and an even more important member of our family and kingdom. My son, your mom and I wish you happiness and all the blessings of heaven. Happy birthday."
Ash answered with a smile. "Thank you, Royal Father and Royal Mother, thank you for your blessing and this son will do his best to make you proud."
Then he looked at his father and said, "Royal Father, where is my birthday gift? Don't tell me that you forgot again like last year?"
All of his brothers started laughing in a restrained manner.
"Don't worry, this time your mother and I prepared a beautiful gift for you," King James said, taking some armor out of a nearby bag. "This is perfect armor made by the best tailor of our kingdom. The best thing about this armor is that it can adapt to your body and will grow together with you. It is also waterproof and fireproof."
After saying this, he presented the gift to Ash.
Ash took the gift. "Thank you, Royal Father and Royal Mother, this is really a perfect gift, thank you."
"Ah ah ah, I knew you would like it. Isn't it beautiful?" the king said and continued to laugh.
"Rosy, give your brother the gift you prepared for him," the queen said to her daughter.
"Hmm," she answered and nodded.
She presented a small bracelet, composed of many colors but the brightest color was gold.
Ash took the bracelet and immediately wore it. "Thank you, Sister. I will always wear this and always remember you no matter where I go."
After that, all his brother gave him their gifts. The crown prince gave him a beautiful sword, Jack gave him a recovery pallet that could heal any injuries, Alexis gave him a beautiful ancient necklace, and Davy gave him a book that talked about the previous four Synchros and the five kingdoms. After he received the gifts from all the members of the royal family, he thanked them and looked at his father strangely as if he wanted to ask his father if he had something else to say.
"Okay now that everyone gave you their gift, do you still have any requests or something you would like to say or ask?" King James asked with a smile.
"Royal Father," Ash said, "I'm happy and I don't need anything else. However if Royal Father still has some time, I would like to know how Royal Father and Royal Mother met each other and decided to get married."
"Oh oh oh, it has been a long time since I told this story to someone but you should ask your mother first if she is okay with it," King James answered.
"Mom, is it fine?" Ash asked.
Queen Rose answered with a nod and said, "It is fine."
The king started his story.
"Twenty-three years ago, our kingdom was divided into two different countries, the western and the eastern country; the western country was controlled by the people who came from the fourth kingdom located on another continent known as the Black Kingdom and the eastern country was controlled by people who came from the first kingdom, also located on another continent and known as the Golden Kingdom. Later, if you want to understand and know more about the five kingdoms, you can read the book Davy gave you," King James said to Ash.
King James continued with the story. "Your mom was from the western country, also known as the Magic Country at that time, and I was from the eastern country also known as the Silver Country at that time. Both countries were always in conflict and there was war going on between our two countries. After two years of war, my father and mother, I mean your grandfather and grandmother, died in the battlefield and the same thing also happen to your mother's father and mother."
King James looked sad but continued. "After my father and mother passed away, I was made king by my uncle and the elders of the Silver Country and at the same time your mother was also made queen in the Magic Country. I wrote her a letter and asked for a meeting at the border of our two countries, and she agreed."
The king looked Queen Rose in the eye and smiled. "Two days later, we met at the border with our respective guards by our side and that was the first time I saw your mother. She was not close to me but she was so beautiful, it looked as if she was standing right in front of me. After I saw her, I even forgot why we came there but after a while your mom's sister Rosa interrupted my thoughts and said, 'We are here. Can you tell us what this meeting is about?'"
"What…Mom's sister? But why didn't Mom tell us that she has a sister?" Ash asked, surprised.
Queen Rose answered in a soft voice, "It is because you did not ask before. Just follow the story and you will understand why I did not tell you about her."
"Hmm." Ash nodded.
The king continued. "I answered your mom's sister Rosa and said, 'I'm here to ask if the new queen of Magic Country has already considered the possibility for our two countries to live in peace.'
"After I said that, your mom's sister Rosa answered with disdain and said, 'Peace? Do you even understand the meaning of that word? There can't be peace between our countries. Our father, mother, and many of our people have died at the hand of your people and many of your people have died at the hand of our people. How can you talk about peace? There can't be such a thing as peace between us.'
"The guards looked angry and I was sure that they did not want to talk about peace; however, when I looked at your mother's face, she was still calm and did not say anything so I continued and answered Rosa and said, 'I know that it has been more than two years since the conflict between our two nations started; however, there was no possibility of peace during our fathers' time because both sides lost their children, their friends, and many of their people. However, now we have the possibility to make things right because both sides have lost their king and queen in this war. As a new king, I know that it is not easy to talk about peace to our people because some still want to fight. However this does not mean that there are no people who wish for peace so it is our duty as new king and new queen of our respective nations to consider every possibility before we continue with this war. What do you think, Queen Rose?'
"Still, your mother did not say anything. After a while, she murmured something in Rosa's ear and Rosa answered and said, 'My queen said she will give you her answer in two months but during this time period, you are not allowed to disturb her, ask for a meeting, or start a battle with our army.'
"I answered your mom's sister and said, 'I will respect your queen's request; however, there is one more thing. I would like to talk to your queen in private but because of our conflict, I know it is not possible so I will send her a new letter after I return to the capitol. After that, I will not disturb your queen again for two months and will wait for her answer.'
"But your mother's sister Rosa answered and said, 'What private matter? Is it that you want to ask my big sister to marry you for the sake of peace?'
"I froze, wondering if Rosa was a witch that could read my mind. I said, 'This private matter is very important to our two countries and has nothing to do with marriage. What are you talking about?'
"Rosa said, 'Oooh…is that so?'
"I answered, 'Of course.' I left then and returned in the capitol. But I wrote a new letter to your mother and asked her to marry me, not just because of peace but also because the moment I saw her, I liked her and in the letter, I promised that I will do my best to make her happy."
"So Aunt Rosa was right," Ash said, "this private matter you wanted to talk about was marriage."
King James looked a little embarrassed and did not reply but continued with the story. "Five days later, I received a letter from your mother. She asked me to meet her alone in a secret place close to the border of our two countries in three days. She put a small map inside the letter to guide me to that secret place. When I arrived, it was already night and there was a full moon. She was sitting on a stone and looking at the moon in the sky. It was quiet, so quiet, I didn't want to disturb her. She wore a blue dress that covered her body. Only a small part of her hand and leg were exposed. Fireflies were flying around her. The view was so magnificent, it made me stare at her in silence. It was as if time stopped. A moment later, I heard her soft voice for the first time, saying, 'You have come.'
"I answered, 'Yes.'
"'I hope it had not been too difficult for you to find this place?' she asked.
"'Yes,' I said.
"She asked, 'Do you really mean what you wrote in your letter? I mean, you don't even know me and the people of our two countries will not accept this easily.'
"Her beautiful face was shining and her expression was calm like water and her lips were pink like a flower and even though there was no emotion on her face, there was a warm feeling in my heart.
"I walked towards her and stood one meter in front of her and said, 'I meant everything I wrote in my letter and we will have all the time to know each other. And about our people, I believe if we are together and work together, we will be able to change and stop the people of our two countries from going to war with each other.'
"After saying that, I looked your mother in the eye and said, 'Because you agreed to meet with me, I believe it means that you have considered my proposition.'
"She answered, 'Yes.'
"Then I said, 'What do you say about the marriage proposition and the possibility of peace?'
"Your mother answered and said, 'No.'
"'No?' I repeated the word then asked, 'No for the marriage or for peace?'
"Your mother said, 'No...for both.'
"I was a little surprised and asked, 'So why did you want us to meet in this place?'
"'Is it not clear? It is to kill you,' she answered. She took out her blade and moved to cut my throat.
"But I did not move and just looked at her emotionlessly, like a statue.
"And before her blade could reach my throat, she asked with astonishment, 'Why don't you move and defend yourself?'
"I answered with a smile. 'I don't know, maybe it's because I trust you or maybe it's because I don't see any killing intent coming from you or maybe it's because I already like you.'
"'Oh is that so, you are really confident, aren't you?' your mother asked. But she was smiling.
"'Yes, but if it was your sister, I would have reacted differently because I feel like she can read me like an open book but I'm happy you are the queen. If it was her, I'm afraid there would not be a possibility for peace but I think this is destiny, don't you think so?' I asked.
"Your mother smiled and said, 'Maybe.' After that she asked, 'Once we will be married, who will be the leader and which country will be absorbed?'
"I answered with a smile. 'It looks like my bet was right and I will get a beautiful woman. I'm sure people will be surprised and jealous.'
"Your mother did not react as I expected but said, 'Answer my questions.'
"With a serious face, I said, 'About the leader, we will both be leaders; every decision will be taken together. And about the country, both countries will disappear and we will create a new kingdom."
"She was surprised and then she asked, 'What about the Imperial City?'
"I answered and said, 'We will build a new imperial city on the border of our two countries and you can choose the name of the city because I already chose the name of our new kingdom.'
"She was yet surprised again and asked, 'What is the name of our new kingdom?'
"When I heard your mother saying, 'our new kingdom,' I was really happy so I answered and said, 'Blue Kingdom, just like the color of your dress and because it is surrounded by the ocean.'
"'It looks like you know how to win women,' she said with a smile and I said, 'Maybe but in order to consolidate your authority as the queen of Blue Kingdom, I will have no concubines and as long as I will be the king, no other woman will be the queen. This I promise to you and it will be made public the day of our marriage.'
"Your mother was silent for a while then she asked, 'What about those who will be against our marriage in our two countries?'
"I answered and said, 'First we will not talk about our marriage to our people. We will only talk about peace to see their reaction. Once we have a clear understanding of the situation, we will start to deal with it and the first to finish will then help the other to deal with those who are against peace. Only later we will announce our marriage and prepare the construction of the new imperial city. What do you think?'
"She went silent for a moment and then answered, 'It's not a bad idea, I'm okay with that.'
"I was happy and then I said 'And during this time we will be meeting here on the last day of every week. What do you think?'
"She answered with a smile. 'I'm okay with that but are you sure that you can wait five days before seeing me?'
"I was surprised because it was our first time to talk to each other but in just the few hours we spent together, we became very familiar to each other. After a moment of surprise, I said, 'You're right. Five days will be too long. However, I'm sure you will give me something that belongs to you as proof that you will be my wife in the near future, right?'
"Your mother smiled, removed one of her bracelets, and gave it to me. I also removed the only bracelet on my wrist and gave it to her and I said, 'This bracelet was a gift I received from my mother and she told me to give it to my wife.' She took the bracelet, smiled, and wore it."
After that King James said, "I still wear the bracelet your mother gave me twenty-three years ago." He showed Ash the bracelet on his wrist.
King James then said, "After that day, your mother and I met every last day of the week in that secret place, until the day of our marriage. However, it took us one year to deal will the people who did not want peace. Your mother was the one who suffered the most because among the people who were against peace there was your aunty Rosa and in order to minimize casualty, your mother decided to give her one of the cities belonging to Magic Country and swear to never interfere in the matter regarding that city. Today that city is called Magic City and it is located in the western part of our Blue Kingdom, close to the ocean. The construction of the new imperial city took one year to be completed and the city was called Heaven Imperial City. One year after our marriage, your Brother Leon was born."
After saying these words, the king looked at Ash and said, "That is how I met your mother and decided to get married."
Ash was surprised. "Royal Father, Royal Mother, thank you for this day and thank you for the story. From today onward, I will work even harder and become a powerful man in order to keep our kingdom in peace because I know that our kingdom's peace was obtained by the two of you after much sacrifice and hard work."
Queen Rose smiled. "I'm counting on you and your brothers to keep our kingdom safe; however, you don't need to worry too much about that. First, you need to choose your path and what you want to do in the future and then work hard in order to become someone reliable, okay?"
"Hmm…" Ash nodded.
"Okay," King James said, "I think we are done for today, I still have some work I need to do and if you need something else, you can ask your big brother Davy. I'm sure he will be happy help you."
King James left the main hall with his wife.
Ash watched his father and mother depart. "Magic City and Aunt Rosa?…Maybe one day, I will pay them a visit."

Blue Kingdom Royal Family members
The royal family is made of eight people: King James Smith, Queen Rose Smith, Crown Prince Leon Smith, Doctor Jack Smith, Special Agent Davy Smith, Priest Alexis Smith, the hero of the novel Ash D. Smith and the only princess of the kingdom, Rosy Smith.

Chapter 2: The Right Path
After King James and Queen Rose left the main hall, the crown prince, Jack, and Alexis also left. A while later, Rosy said, "Big brother, I will see you later. I have something I want to do with Miss Jenny."
"Okay, you can go. I will see you later," Ash said.
"Hmm." Rosy nodded, paying respect to Davy, and left.
Only Davy and Ash remained in the main hall.
"Big Brother Davy," Ash asked, "have you ever been to Magic City? Have you ever seen Aunt Rosa?"
Davy answered, "When I was fifteen-years-old, I went to Magic City for a mission and I saw her but she did not see me and I did not talk to her. If you want to go Magic City, I'm afraid Mom and Dad will not allow you."
"I know I don't even know how Heaven Imperial City looks like and I never left the imperial residence so how can I go to Magic City?" Ash said and he was a little bit sad because since he was born, he had never left the imperial residence.
"Don't be sad and don't worry about that," Davy said. "I'm sure one day you will understand why Mother and Father don't allow you to leave the imperial residence and even though you can't go to Magic City now, when you are fifteen-years-old, you will have the right and opportunity to go everywhere you want."
"Hmm." Ash nodded. "Big Brother Davy, could you please tell me everything important about our kingdom and the position and role of every royal family member in it?"
"Ooh! Why are you asking?"
"I want to know everything before I choose what I want to do in the future."
After he said that, he then remembered the voice he heard in his dream that morning. He murmured to himself, "Maybe it's because of that voice."
Davy answered with a smile. "Okay, but I don't know where to start." After he thought about it for a while, he said, "Our kingdom is the smallest and weakest among the five kingdoms. It was created twenty-three years ago and the other four kingdoms do not even consider our kingdom as a 'kingdom.' However, because the former Silver Country has always been related to the Golden Kingdom, our kingdom has not been oppressed by the other three. Nevertheless, the main reason our kingdom has not been oppressed or attacked is because it shares no borderland with any kingdom and is surrounded and protected by the ocean which makes things difficult for the other kingdoms, do you understand?"
Ash answered, "Yes," and then asked, "Is the Golden Kingdom the strongest among the five kingdoms?"
"Yes," Davy answered and said, "It is also because the Golden Kingdom is the strongest kingdom among the five and the closest to our Blue Kingdom that our kingdom's structure is based on its structure." After he said that, Davy looked at the book he had given Ash and said, "If you want to know more about the Golden Kingdom and the other three kingdoms, you can check in the book, okay?"
"Hmm." Ash nodded.
Then Davy continued. "There are five main departments and five captains in our kingdom. Each captain is in charge of one department: the first department is related to the kingdom's security, the second department to astral knowledge, the third department is about medicine, the fourth is related to finance and research, and the fifth department is a special and secret department."
"Oh, what is the special department about?" Ash asked.
"It's a secret," Davy answered. "That why it's called a special and secret department but don't worry, I'm sure one day you will know." He continued, "The crown prince is the captain in charge of the first department and grandfather's younger brother Enoch is the captain in charge of the second department. He is also known as the chief priest of the main temple in Blue City. Senior Lisa is the captain in charge of the third department, Mother is the captain in charge of the fourth department, and I'm the captain in charge of the special department."
"I knew it, Big Brother, you are really awesome. You are so young but you are already a captain." Ash was very happy because he also saw Davy as his master.
Davy smiled and then said, "All five captains have their own vice-captain and the five captains should be under the Perfect Warrior. However, because our kingdom is just twenty-three years old there has not yet been someone with the power of a perfect warrior so all five captains are under the king and the queen."
"Big Brother, what is a perfect warrior?" Ash asked.
Davy looked at him and said, "A perfect warrior in our kingdom is a person who can understand and master the knowledge of four or all five departments and also be able to beat at least three captains at the same time. However in each kingdom, the definition and power of a perfect warrior is different but they are considered to be the strongest person after the king and queen of a kingdom."
"Is that really possible?" Ash asked in surprise.
Davy said, "It seems impossible but in each of the four kingdoms, there are more than three perfect warriors and who knows, maybe you will become our Perfect Warrior in the future."
Ash was surprised. "Big brother, that can't be right. As long as you are a captain, I will never be able to beat you. Is there anyone close to becoming a perfect warrior in our kingdom?"
Davy looked at him and said, "Yes, the closest person to become a perfect warrior is….me."
"Ooh, is that true?" Ash asked.
"Yes," Davy answered and said, "If I'm not wrong, I can already beat two captains at the same time or in the same day; however, Mother and Father can beat three captains at the same time but because they are queen and king, they can't take the title of Perfect Warrior nor fight with captains."
"Is it because they are the ruler of our kingdom that they can't take the title of Perfect Warrior?" Ash asked.
"No, it's because every fifteen years, there is a world tournament of Perfect Warriors, which is held in one of the first three kingdoms (the Golden Kingdom, Red Kingdom, and White Kingdom) and kings and queens can't participate."
"Oh it's like that. I wonder what a perfect warrior looks like," Ash said.
"Don't worry, maybe one day you will see or even fight with one of them. Our kingdom has five cities: Heaven Imperial City, Magic City, Rose City, Blue City and Silver City. Blue City is a commercial city and the second most important city after Heaven Imperial City; Rose City is the city with the most medicinal plants in our kingdom; most of our kingdom's resources come from Silver City; Magic City is the most dangerous city in our kingdom, it is also an independent city so we are not allowed to intervene in the matters related to Magic City; and Heaven Imperial City is the biggest and most peaceful city out of the five. But there is a small forest in the eastern part of the city where all kinds of dangerous beasts can be found and most people use it for training."
After saying these words, Davy continued, "The richest family after our royal family is the Feller family. Mr. Feller has two sons and two daughters and they live in Blue City. He is our father's best friend and also the one who made the armor that Royal Father gave you. "
"So the Feller family is really rich," Ash said.
"Yes," Davy answered. "You can find anything you want in the Feller Headquarters and there are also many branches of the Feller Headquarters in every city of our kingdom and you can even find them in the other four kingdoms, do you know why?"
"Is it because the Feller family is related to one of the four kingdoms?" Ash asked.
Davy answered and said, "Actually, Mr. Feller's elder sister is the Golden King's wife and his elder brother is in charge of the Feller Headquarters located in the Golden Kingdom. Davy said, "All princes receive money from Royal Father and Royal Mother just because we are their children and when a prince starts to work for the kingdom, he will receive a wage at the end of every month. But because you are only twelve you can't work yet. Each month, all princes receive ten pieces of gold and since you were born, all your money and gifts you received the day of your birth have been kept in a safe place by Mom and all of it will be given to you on your sixteenth birthday." After that he looked at Ash and asked, "Do you know how to calculate money?"
"Of course I know," Ash answered and then said, "One gold coin is equal to one thousand silver coins and one silver coin is equal to one thousand bronze coins. This means that I'm already very rich even without working. Ooh, I didn't know that a prince has this much money, this can surely make people jealous and even create enemies."
"Ah ah ah, do you understand now why Royal Father doesn't allow you to leave the palace and why you need to work even harder and become strong?" Davy asked with a smile.
"Yes now I understand and don't worry, I will work hard and become as strong as Big Brother," Ash said. "Big Brother, which one of the five princes is the richest?"
Davy looked at him and said, "Actually this is a difficult question because there is a big gap between our ages, for example there is ten years between the crown prince's age and yours. "Do you still have any questions regarding our kingdom?" Davy asked.

Then Ash asked, "Big Brother, are you leaving now?"

"I know," Ash said then asked with hesitation, "Do I have to fight against her again?"
Davy smiled and said, "Don't worry, I found someone else that will fight with you and I'm sure he will be a good rival to you and a good friend in the future."
"Oh, who is he? What's his name?" Ash asked.
"You will know tomorrow." Then Davy disappeared from the main hall.
"He is gone, but he always leaves giving me something to think about." Ash said and after some time, he also left the main hall.
Then the voice within Ash's said to himself "Maybe 'this path' was not a bad place to start even if he didn't understand his potential and the power that slept within him".

"Big Brother said I will meet a new guy today. I wonder who he is," Ash said to himself as he left his room and greeted his mother and father in the main hall.
"Hello, Royal Father. Hello, Royal Mother," Ash said.
"Hello, Ash, have you eaten already?" Queen Rose asked.
"No, but don't you worry, Mother. After I finish my training with Big Brother, I'll come back and eat," Ash answered.
"Ah ah ah, that's my boy. You are just like me when I was young," King James said.
"Is Lady Feller also going to train with you today?" Queen Rose asked.
"Yes, Mom, Big Brother will also bring a new guy and he said that he will be a good rival for me," Ash said.
"I see he's bringing that kid today, not bad," King James said with a smile.

"Hello, Ash, this is Joe Johnson. He is a new recruit of my department. Joe, say hi to Ash," Davy said.
"Hello, Prince Ash, I'm Joe. Nice to meet you," Joe said.
Ash answered and said, "Hello, Joe Johnson, nice to meet you too and you can call me Ash."
Joe looked at Davy to confirm if it was acceptable for him to call a prince directly by his name but Davy said, "It's okay. You can call him Ash."
"Okay, then you can call me JJ or simply Joe, if you want," Joe said to Ash.
"Okay, JJ. How old are you?"
"I'm twelve and you?" Joe asked.
"I'm twelve too," Ash answered.
"Oh, so who is your captain?" Joe asked.
"I have not yet chosen a department but I'll do it after at the end of the upcoming examination," Ash answered.
"Don't tell me you will take the examination with the other kids?" Joe asked, surprised.
"Don't you worry, I won't, even if I want to. My mom….I mean, my royal mother and royal father will not let me do it," Ash said.
"So what will you do?" Joe asked.
"You will know after the examination," Ash answered.
"Okay," Joe said and nods.
A gentle voice rang close to Ash's ear. "Hello, Ash, how are you doing?" the young girl asked.
"I'm fine, Daisy, and you?" Ash answered.
"I'm fine too, yesterday was your birthday. I'm sorry I was not able to come but I prepared a gift for you." As she spoke, Daisy presented her gift to Ash.
"Thank you," Ash said with a smile.
The gift was a small waterproof and fireproof bag that could hold a lot of things.
After he took the gift, Davy said, "It looks like the three of you are already getting along very well. That's a good thing and I'm sure you will be an incredible team in the future."
The three of them looked at each other with surprise and then laughed because they understood that Davy's words were his way of telling them that he wanted the three of them to join his department.
"All right, we will start our training but before that," Davy looked at Joe and Ash and said, "the two of you will fight first. I want to know the difference between your levels. You will fight using nothing else but your physical power for one minute; then after one minute, you are allowed to use your mental powers. The first one who hits the other three times will be the winner."
"Hm hm hm," Ash mocked and murmured, "Is it possible for a twelve-year-old to use mental powers?"
"Daisy, please come over here. Today there is no need for you to fight with Ash," Davy said.
"Okay." Daisy was not surprised because every time she fought Ash, she won. Even though she was a little bit stronger than Ash, he never hit her back during their fights; he only blocked or dodged her attack. That was why Davy was looking for another person to train with Ash.
Ash and Joe stood in front of each other and took a fighting position.
Davy commanded, "Begin."
Joe had already run towards Ash and kicked his left rib but Ash blocked it with his left hand. He's fast, Ash thought. He punched Joe on the face but Joe blocked that and said to himself, "Heavy! Are all his punches this heavy?"
They exchange blows for some time. Ash had hit Joe two times when Joe closed his eyes and murmured in a low voice, "Green-Zone." When Ash looked Joe in the eye, he found himself in the middle of a green forest. Ash was surprised but before he could understand what was going on, he was hit three times by someone. He found himself sitting in the ground and Joe was standing in front of him.
Ash was surprised and asked, "What happened?"
"Joe hit you three times and won the battle," Davy said.
"Ah—how is that possible?" Ash asked, surprised by what he heard and shocked at the same time because he lost despite having an advantage.
"You were trapped in his mental power," Davy said. "When he said the words 'Green-Zone,' he trapped you. Even if it was only for three seconds, it was enough to distract you and it allowed Joe to hit you three times."
"Ah—mental power? How can he use mental power? He is only twelve, is this even possible? I don't believe it!" Ash could not believe that Joe could use the power of a zone at his age.
"Even if the power of his zone is still weak and can't work on an adult, it's enough to work against people of the same age who have weak mental strength compared to him," Davy said. "And even if you think it's impossible, you have experienced it yourself and this is a good thing because from today onwards, I'm sure you will not underestimate an opponent, no matter his or her age. "Yes," Ash answered and watched Joe with a strange face. This guy is a monster, he thought. Then he understood why, before the two of them fought, Davy said that after one minute they could use mental power. Damn, I should have known what Big Brother meant but it's too late now.
"I only won because you did not know that I could use the power of a zone," Joe confessed, "and to be honest if I had not dragged the fight out much longer, you would have won."
"Don't be modest, JJ, you are awesome. Big Brother was right; you will be a good rival but don't start to lag because one day I will beat you even if you use your zone power," Ash said. He murmured to himself, "I just hope that distracting an opponent is all that zone power can do; otherwise I can't even begin to imagine what the consequences will be for someone who has been trapped in there for a long period of time."
"Joe, you are really strong to use the power of a zone," Daisy said.
"But I still don't know how to control it and I have a lot to learn," Joe answered.
"All right! That was a good fight and now that I have a better understanding of your powers and strength, we can start with today's lesson," Davy said. "What do you know about Energy?"
Daisy answered. "There are three types of Energy used by humans: Physical Energy, Mental Energy, and Nature Energy. However, my father told me that there is a fourth type of Energy called God Energy that humans can't use unless they transcend human boundaries or obtain a god's blessing."
"That's right, Daisy. It looks like you have learned a lot of things, as expected from a Feller," Davy said with a smile. "As Daisy said, there are four types of Energy known and used by humans: Physical, Mental, Nature and God Energy; all humans can use a low level of Physical and Mental Energy but only those with Physical and Mental Energy above level five can start to cultivate Nature Energy. As for God Energy, only humans who have a perfect mastery (level ten) of Physical and Mental Energy and Nature Energy above level five or have transcended human boundaries and/or possess a god's power can use God Energy."
"It's really difficult to cultivate God Energy. Is God Energy that powerful?" Ash asked.
"Yes, the first two levels of God Energy allow the user to control dark and light energy. This means that user can make a day look like a night and a night look like a day. This is something only gods can do and that's why the user of God Energy is called god, do you understand?"
"Yes," the three of them answered at the same time.
"So are there any gods in the other four kingdoms?" Ash asked.
"Of course, each of the four kingdoms has at least one god. However, it is impossible to see a god because they choose not to personally intervene in human matter but when a king needs advice, he can ask the god(s) of his kingdom," Davy answered.
"Only a king can see a god but what about the Perfect Warrior?" Ash asked.
"Only when the Perfect Warrior starts to cultivate God Energy is he allowed to see a god or gods of the kingdom," Davy said. "It looks like you are really interested in gods?"
"Of course! They are the most powerful beings in this world. How can I not be interested?" Ash answered.
"Ah ah ah, as expected from someone who...." He stopped in the middle of the sentence because he had almost said something he shouldn't say.
"Someone who what?" Ash asked, curious.
"Hmm hmm." Davy shook his head and said, "It's nothing. I just thought about something else." Then he quickly changed the subject and said, "You are right, gods are powerful; however, they are not the most powerful beings in this world because, after every one thousand years, two powerful beings awake in one of the four kingdoms and they are called Synchro even though only one of the two is considered to be a true Synchro."
"Oh!" Ash was shocked.
Davy continued, "Almost a thousand years ago, the last two Synchros awakened in the Black Kingdom and because they had different opinions and power, they fought a battle and died together. Even today their descendants still fight again each other and that's why the Black Kingdom is still divided into two kingdoms." He looked at the three of them. "If you want to know more about previous Synchros and the Black Kingdom, you can read the book I gave each one of you, okay?"
The book Davy was referring to was the one he had given Ash yesterday.
"Okay," the three of them answered in unison.
"The three of you can use Physical Energy but only Joe can use Mental Energy." He looked at Ash and Daisy and said, "If you want to use Mental Energy, you must remember everything you have done in at least five days of your life. Once you do that, you will be able to create an imaginary world with your mind and project it to your opponent's mind. This is called zone power, do you understand?"
Ash and Daisy looked at him dumbly and then looked at Joe with the same expression. How can someone remember what he had done during five full days, create an imaginary world, and project it to his opponent?
"Big Brother, you are joking, right?" Ash asked.
"I know it's seems impossible," Davy said, "but believe me, it's not too difficult. All you need to do is to focus for long periods of time and remember. The more days you remember, the better, because the power of your zone depends on how much you can remember."
"JJ, how many days can you remembers?" Ash asked.
"Only six days," Joe answered.
Ash said with a loud voice, "Six days! What a monster! Are you sure you are only twelve-years-old? How is that even possible?"
"It may look like a miracle to you but the price I have to pay to remember five out of the six days was too high and I hope no one has to go through what I have been through," Joe said with a sad expression.
"It's true that it's not easy to remember five full days of your life," Davy said, "however, you can already remember what you have done for one full day so if you can remember one full day, I'm sure you can remember two or even more days. First, you need a quiet place where you can concentrate and will not be disturbed by anyone. I will give you five days to practice by yourself and if you are still not able to remember five full days of your life, then I will help you, okay?"
"Okay," Ash and Daisy answered at the same time.

That's right, she was the vice-captain of the 4th department and second only to Queen Rose. She was also Mr. Feller's first daughter. She was wearing a yellow dress, her hair was like gold, she had beautiful hazel eyes and rose lips. It was already evening but she was shining like a moon. It was as if the darkness of the night had no effect on her.
"Please, can you tell Queen Rose that Vice-Captain Tina is here?" Tina said with a calm voice.
"No need." Before the guards could even answer, a voice rang in the distance. A women appeared in front of Tina and the two guards.

Queen Rose looked at her, smiled, and said, "It's only normal. He is the captain of the strongest department. After all, if he was not good in finding new disciples, he will not be our special card."

But don't worry, he may surprise you and don't forget, our department has a queen as captain and I'm sure later Rosy will also join our department."
"I see. I'll leave it to you but I hope he will not choose the special department but with Davy as his master, there is the high possibility that he'll chose that department…Damn, that guy is too smart," Tina said.
"Did you say goodbye to Princess Rosy?" Tina asked Daisy.

Chapter 4: Magic City Mayor
Magic City is located in the western part of the Blue Kingdom and is the only city that does not belong to the royal family. Because it is close to the ocean, many travelers from the Black Kingdom who want to visit the Blue Kingdom have to pass by Magic City and it's the same for the Blue Kingdom's travelers who want to visit the Black Kingdom. Magic City is considered to be one of the most beautiful places in the Blue Kingdom because it is close to the ocean. The sunset and the full moon both look so dazzling, one can forget all his or her problems and relax. But at the same time, Magic City is also one of the most dangerous places in the Blue Kingdom. People are not allowed to enter the city without having the approval of one of the five men under the Magic City mayor or else they will be killed. In the southern part of the city, there is a dangerous dark green forest and only people with strong magic power and/or Nature Energy at level five can enter and live in the forest. Those under level five can enter but can never come back.
The Magic City mayor is the supreme ruler of the entire city even though outsiders believe that Magic City belongs to Blue Kingdom. All the citizens of Blue Kingdom are well aware of the situation regarding its ruler.
The mayor's residence is located in the center of the city and only authorized people are allowed to venture close to it. The residence is large and there are many palaces within the residence. The mayor, his wife, and their only son live in the main palace of the mayor's residence.

Mayor's Residence
In a secret room within the mayor's residence, a mature man stood in the dark. Behind him a middle-aged man kneeled on one knee in silence with his head down. "What happened?" the mature man asked with a cold voice.
"We were close to the temple location when our army was attacked by the crown prince and his personal guards," the middle-aged man answered.
The mature man was surprised and asked, "The crown prince?"
"Yes, my Lord," the middle-aged man said and then continued, "When I saw the crown prince and his men, I immediately escaped because I knew they will do all they could to capture me alive in order to obtain the information regarding my Lord. Before leaving, I asked my men to retreat and meet in our secret base but none of them managed to escape. Most of them were killed and only a few were captured."
"Did you manage to see the temple?" the middle-aged man asked, seemingly unconcerned about the people who were killed or captured.
"No, my Lord, but before I came back, I heard two Heaven Imperial guards saying that the temple has not yet been found by the fourth department," the middle-aged man said.

"Yes, my Lord," the middle-aged man answered. Even though he was not happy, he could not say anything because he was speaking to the chief of the rebels and the supreme ruler of Magic City.
"Good and do not tell them that they will be our spies, just tell them that they will have to give you some news regarding their situation and what happens in Imperial City at the end of every month, okay?" the mature man asked.
"Yes, my Lord," the middle-aged man answered.
"I also want you to look for new recruits in our city or cities to replace those who were killed and captured by the crown prince. Promise them money and power as always but you must be careful to not let any information regarding our real plan be known by them and do not draw any unnecessary attention to yourself because I'm sure the crown prince is still looking for you, okay?"
"Yes, my Lord," the middle-aged man answered.
"All right then, you may leave now and do not disappoint me again," the mature man said.

In the Mayor's Office
A beautiful woman dressed in black stood in front of a mature man. Her hair was black, her eyes were black, and her lips were red. She was charming like a witch. Her appearance could make any man lose his soul. She asked calmly, "Sam, what happened?"
"It's nothing that I did not anticipate; however, they did not even see the temple. What a waste of time," Sam said, frustrated.
The woman was surprised and asked again, "What happened?"
"Don't worry, Rosa, it's just some bad luck," Sam said. "Before reaching the temple, our army was attacked by the crown prince and his personal guards."
"Oh! How could that happen? Don't tell me that kid managed to capture the commander of the army," Rosa asked with worry.
"Of course not, even if the crown prince managed to capture one of my commanders, he won't be able to get anything from him before the commander kills himself," Sam said calmly. "The only one able to capture and get anything from my commander is 'HIM.'"
"It's good you are aware of that but I don't understand why you have to send one of your commanders just to look for a temple," Rosa asked.
"It's normal for you to not understand. After all, Silver City was part of Silver Country and not part of your Magic Country." Sam looked at her. "The temple is located in Silver City and every item that was found in that city has an extremely high value today. That's why I have to send one of my commanders to look for that temple and do not forget that there are always many dangers in ancient temples."
"I see," Rosa said.
"It's fine even though we did not manage to get anything. Our plan will soon begin and one day, everything will belong to us," Sam said with an evil smile. "Hmm." Jake nodded. "But I was waiting for you to come and eat with me."
"Oh! You are such a good boy," Rosa said. "What do you think, Sam, isn't he cute?"
"Yes, he is cute and gentle just like his mother," Sam said. Then he said to himself, Just now she was saying that if he goes to Heaven Imperial City, he will be influenced by Rose and her children and become gentle like a chicken when in reality all you want is to keep him by your side. Ah woman. He sighed and shook his head.
"What did you say?" Rosa asked.
"Nothing, nothing. I just said that Jake is cute," Sam answered in a hurry. "I'm hungry too. Why don't we go and eat together?"
"Father, are you coming too?" Jake asked.

"No, it's nothing, don't worry. Someone wanted me to send you to that city for three years but I did not agree," Rosa said.
"Who wants to send me away from Mom and Father for three years?" Jake asked.
When Sam heard that question, his face twitched.
"You don't know him and don't you worry, Mommy will not send you away for three years," Rosa said.

"Okay," Rosy answered and said, "Daddy, will that be fine?"
"Yes." The king had no other choice but to accept but he looked at Queen Rose with a strange expression as if he wanted to cry.
Queen Rose smiled and used her mental power to tell him, "Don't worry, she will never want to leave the Blue Kingdom and even if she wants to leave, you will come with us, right?"
King James nodded like a chicken and answered, "Right," using his mental power.
