Chapter 38 - Artificial Intelligence

"Ela, can you call your sister? I need her as soon as possible."

"O-okay."

I rush towards the nearest warehouse to check materials I will need. At the same time, I asked the cooperation of my fiancée and told her to call her sister.

I will need her to make an organization of spies so I can exactly know what's happening in every different sector of my enemy.

Far from being satisfied with this, I also need to evacuate my parents as well as my fiancée's as soon as the war started.

For some reason, I also want to save the merchants I have promised to.

Yes, let's do that.

However, he needs to wait. I'm too far from his current station and saving him is easier said than done.

It didn't take much time for me to arrive at the warehouse and immediately went inside it to look for the materials I will need.

Fortunately, all materials is placed accordingly making it easier to find. Rose did really a good job managing the territory. I should give her a reward later. How about marrying him to that lover of hers?

Enough with the thought, wasting time is the least I should do.

Let's see. Leather, silk... Silk?

So silk was already discovered here, huh.

The raw magical materials such as glowing stone which they call enchanted rock, it is a necessary material for the mages and also for the convinience of everyday life.

We also got the living crystals. The one that has a dense amount of mana that resides in it.

This!

I can use this as a source of life. Since magic can be manipulated, it can make my combat AI alive so they can think base on their own judgment. With that, they will be more efficient in combat!

Let's get that, since it's dense, it has a large amount of mana in it that it exceed an average human for an entire year amount of mana.

So, does that mean it only has a lifespan of a year?

That's fine! I'm sure that the war won't take that long. I mean, the Civil War before only took half a year.

But they lose.

However, I will make sure I win! I won't repeat their own foolishness!

I grab some of the living crystals. Amounting to 10, there's a ton of stock in here so if my experiment is successful, making a thousand or tens of thousands is easy enough.

Now, for the skin.

Since this is similar to a medieval age, we don't have sulfur. Sulfur-base skin should be able to do them, but seeing that I don't have any sort of material, I don't think I can create one.

And so, I just need an iron.

An iron-based AI. Pretty similar to the ones they invented back in my world. But meh, it's just a weak one.

Unlike the one I will create, this one will have a conscious on its own!

Damn, I feel so excited by just thinking of it!

Now, we have iron and living crystal. What else?

For the brain part, the living stone will do. Which means, I will need two per AI.

For the eyes, I will need glass. Glass is easy, we have a number of sand being imported.

Simply heating it with magic will do. The problem is, is it pure? I don't think I have the ability to judge an object from its purity.

I will also need a tube to transfer magic to every parts of its body. A magical tube, which means, it's a tube made up of magical items.

So, does enchanted stone count? But I don't think I can create a tube from that.

Let's see, enchanted stone, living crystal, orb, beast core, and any other creature that can extract magics.

Wow, didn't know we have this much. Though, it's not a complain nor praise. It's just difficult to think about it since lot of them is left untouched here.

What is this even for?

Well, doesn't matter. Rose will just explain it to me later.

I grab all kind of magical items in stock and took off. The weight of the item far exceed my expectation, and so, I had to rely on my magic for a while until I reach the palace.

It's now getting bright as I arrive at the palace. Rose and Ela seem to be waiting for me at the front door as they look worried.

I do love to reassure them, but the time doesn't permit such thing. And so, I didn't slow down my walk and direct myself at the side of the palace where the former mansion resides.

The girls look confuse as they see me make a turn. With a lot of question in mind, they remain silence as they follow me.

We arrive at the area where the former mansion is. I place the items I need for creating the AI and excitingly started to do what I have to.

I close my eyes with a smirk and remember the knowledge I have gained earlier.

By creating a combat AI, I need them to have a perfect quality to withstand any sort of force that will come upon them.

Thankfully, solid iron can endure a weight of four pound. So it's the least I could worry imagining the fight that will happen in the future.

Firstly, I will use a magic to manipulate the iron into any shape I desire.

So yeah, I will first make it denser to double the weight it can support. After that, I started an outrageous object which I didn't expect or dream of back it my previous world!

If we use the time in my world, and also basing it on how the sun move. I suppose I have been doing this for an entire 7 hours.

Of course, the two girls at my back have gone since I instructed them according to their jobs.

I instructed Rose to make an organization of spies just as I plan. While I told Ela to prepare the people I will need. The bureaucrats that will help me organize the things I will need for mass production of this beautiful creation of mine.

Well, it's not really mine. But in this world, it's mine.

I smile at the human figure in front of me while sweating since the sun is at its peak. I can't believe I just made a goddamn artificial intelligence and boy does it look good?

With its iron body, it can almost look like an armor suit, while it's eyes is made up of enchanted stone, I still can't believe I made a tube out of an ogre's horn.

"Gabriel, activate."

As soon as I said so, the eyes of the being started to glow like a rainbow as mana was being pour in it along with its body's motion.

The AI in front of me started to move its hands as it consciously tried to look at it with a dumbfounded face?

Damn, I'm genius!
