Chapter 5 - Chapter 4: Opposites Attract

The morning alarm, which included the teacher's yell to wake everyone up, annoyed Saffron greatly. Sage and Rosemary had already awoken and were getting dressed for the day's adventure. Saffron awakened and sat in her bed, her swollen blue eyes and face gaping at her two sisters, who looked too fresh unlike her. Her mornings had always been like this since she arrived at the school trip.

Last night was pretty exhausting for saffron because she couldn't help thinking about the moments, she had with Nagamatsu at the dinner. As she was unable to comprehend the fresh emotions that had formed in her heart the night before. The warmth and gentleness she felt from his touch last night were unfamiliar to her. And she had no idea what was going on with her.

Saffron grew up in a family where everyone was too preoccupied with their own syndicates and cartels to give warmth and pleasure to one another. growing up was not glamourous and pleasant for her as it was for most of the kids. She'd never felt anything like that before, except Sage, her sister. Whom she had always admired and idolized.

Saffron was madly in love with sage. She valued her so much that she imitated everything Sage did. She aspired to be just like her, which is why she decided to assist her family's mafia business; She wanted to shine in the eyes of her family, but especially in Sage's eyes, because she genuinely loves her the most.

One thing that made Saffron certain was that she knew Nagamatsu didn't only appreciate her friendship, but that he was also in love with her. But Saffron was always ignorant of her own emotions because she was always so brazen and straight that she never let a boy wander around her and because she was the leader of her school's martial arts team and always put a stern look on her face, all the boys were scared of her.

However, she was still unaware of her emotions at the moment, and she didn't understand why she had a soft spot for that boy. As well as she didn't want to know because she wasn't there for that. The only thing on her brain was her family's new mission that had been assigned to her, so she wanted to wash all the emotions that were racing through her mind and if Sage was in her place, she would do the same.

The teachers were yelling as they marched through the corridors, to awaken the students. Each of them came to their door and knocked. Saffron was still not in the mood to get out of bed.

"Come on, get up, we're running late," Sage told her.

Saffron finally dragged herself out of bed and dressed in a simple t-shirt, lightweight trousers, and gaiters because it was a hiking day.

They went on the highest hiking trail in Hanoi. Following the tour, again a worksheet was distributed for them to divide into groups and fill out. She wanted to accompany her sisters because she didn't want to face Nagamatsu again.

Hiking was one of Saffron's favorite activities because it increased her strength, but she declined to hike until the end because she didn't want to use all of her stamina and energy here and wanted to conserve it for an important mission needed to complete before midnight. So, after a few miles of hiking, she returned and just wanted to hit the sack. Rosemary also decided to return with Saffron because these things weren't her fashion and there weren't any hot guys in their group with whom she could chill out, but Sage pushed her to hike until the end.

As the students finished hiking, they were stampeded onto a bus and driven to their hotel for lunch after an exhausting trip to the mountains. Since everybody was drained from hiking, they got the remainder of the day to themselves.

Saffron took advantage of the situation and rushed back to her room because there were no more plans other than her business task. She just had to sleep for the rest of the day so that she wouldn't be exhausted on her first mission. She was drawn to her bed like a magnet. She was so tired that she didn't even bother changing her clothes before going to bed. Not long after her head sank into her fluffy pillow, her sleepy eyes closed again. She just wanted to sleep peacefully for a few hours because she knew she had to complete the mission that had been delayed three days before and she had to complete it before midnight.

The Dryad Family became aware of a rumor that an old liquor shop was being used as a hideout by a rival gang. One of their best friends, who was in charge of the Dryad family's alcohol business, actually stabbed a knife in their back, as he was helping the rival gang in their hideout. The family wine selling business was low on cash that year, and they also wanted to expand their alcohol business for their older child because it was not just an ordinary wine store like others; the shop consisted of various exotic wines from all over the world worth billions of dollars,

so they wanted to expand it even further. That's why they wanted to send Saffron over to check it out and teach them a lesson for Saffron's older sibling.

That's why Saffron and her sisters went on a school trip to take over the territory of that wine store that was being used as a hideout by a rival gang from Vietnam. It was Saffron's first mission. Sage had completed all of the previous missions. Since Saffron has always wanted to walk in her sister's footsteps, she demanded this mission. She wanted to have this mission and do it on her own so she could be like Sage and prove herself.

At midnight, when Saffron's alarm went off, she awoke without letting it ring twice. She was feeling a little more at ease after taking a long nap and letting go of all her tiredness and unpleasantness.

Sage was sitting in front of her when she opened her eyes. Loading bullets into her pistol with caution, she then put her gun in a handgun holster and carefully secured the holster to her waist belt under her dress.

When Sage saw Saffron getting out of bed, she stated, "Get ready." "Are you going as well?" Saffron asked her,

''Yeah, because it's your first time, I don't want you to go on your own,". Sage responded calmly,

Saffron was not afraid of the mission that she was given to her, nor did she want to get back; she was only worried and a little nervous because she did not want to make even the slightest mistake that would bring her family down. She wanted her family to be safe, but she was also confident and excited about the mission because breaking bones and murdering people was her favorite job to do.

She was overwhelmed that her sister sage was assisting her on her first mission, and if Sage was going to go for that mean, she would most likely do her utmost to present Sage her best skills. Sage, on the other hand, was certain that saffron would be enough to teach them a lesson since she was her sister and giving enemies a good lesson was in their blood. but she still wanted to accompany her because she did not want to take a chance. After all, it was Saffron's first mission.

Saffron took the gun that she'd been hiding under her bed and tucked it under her shirt in a handgun holster tied with her waist belt, just like Sage did because she always tries to emulate her. She also took a knife with her because She didn't know how to handle a gun, but she still kept it because no one knew when she'd need it.

She was such a skilled martial artist that even a healthy man could see stars in the sky in daylight with a single blow to the belly. Her favorite thing to do was kick a guy in the dick. She knew she could handle everything even without a gun.

Sage devised an incredible idea for them making sure to keep the safety first. The intelligence squad of the Dryad family had already delivered all of the information and details to Sage this morning, and they had been told to kill everyone they saw in the liquor shop. because they could leak some private information. which the family cannot afford.

Sage tried to wake up Rosemary, but she was sound asleep. like a log. Rosemary was completely uninterested in their mission. She came on the school trip just to have fun and hang out with boys; she didn't care what Sage and Saffron were up to in their lives.

after a while Sage and saffron finally succeeded in waking rosemary up; what they needed was for her to be up so that she could take care of things behind their backs, or if they were late or caught in some problem, they could call dad. But she heard everything through one ear and let it all out from the other.

She was only half asleep when she raised her hands in the air and waved, "Good luck ladies," before falling asleep again.

After getting ready and planning everything, they took the first step toward their task by fleeing the room. The metal detector had already been set off by one of Dryad's family employees so they could exit the lounge without being caught with their weapons, but when they saw Nagamatsu seated in the lounge, all their attempts became futile. Saffron could take the risk of being captured by the metal detectors, but being caught by nagamatsu meant they had to dig their own graves. So, only because of Nagamatsu, they had to take a chance by jumping out of the window through a rope.

Their father had sent saffron a car because it was her first mission, which was waiting for her just outside the hotel. The driver was a Dryad company employee, and he turned the car over to Saffron with the location written on a sheet of paper. Sage sat in the driver's seat, while Saffron opened the door to the passenger seat next to the driver's seat and sat in the front seat of the car.

Sage then started the car and drove away. While heading to the location, she saw Saffron pulling out the gun from her handgun holster. Saffron glared at the gun she

was holding tightly. Sage saw her and inquired of Saffron, "Why are you looking at the gun like that?" ''You can go back if you want to''

When sage said this, Saffron snapped out of her thoughts and remembered her sister was watching her.

"No," ''I am fine'' "I was just getting used to this thing," Saffron responded. And she re-holstered her gun.

"That's great." ''Play with it like a toy and have fun with it; you will get used to it quickly," Sage responded with a grin.

Saffron forced a smile in response, glaring at her face, and it was as if Sage was going to a party to have some fun. They both grew up in a family where they were given bullets and weapons to play with for fun, so a gun was just a novelty for them. Her expression was devoid of any signs of anxiety or uneasiness because she was smart and her beloved hobby was throwing herself in danger to have fun. That's her way to enjoy the life. This was one of the reasons why saffron had always been a fan of sage. She just needed to be as self-assured as her sister.

They arrived at their target. Sage came to a halt outside the building. The idea was for Saffron to tackle the situation inside the liquor shop and for Sage to handle everything that happened outside.

"Do you want me to come with you?" She inquired of Saffron. She continued to question her because Saffron seemed a little shaky.

"No, I'll do it myself." Saffron raised her voice. She was worried, but not afraid. She was confident and knew that she could pull it off.

"You know very well how important this mission is for our family, and we cannot afford to make even the smallest mistake; you know father better than I do. so let me .." Sage was about to say something when Saffron interrupted her and said, "I'll do it on my own because there is nothing I can't do." "I'll show them who they've messed up with and I'll beat the hell out of them," Saffron said.

Sage gave her a positive vibe. She told her how much she enjoyed her first mission, so she encouraged her to have fun and enjoy herself.

''Good luck, Have fun sis''

Saffron answered with a nod and a smile and exited the car; she had always seen Sage achieving and completing every mission flawlessly, and she had always

aspired to be like her. Today was her opportunity to take a step closer to Sage's personality.

Saffron was self-assured. She knew why she was there; on the way there, she had drawn up her own scheme in her head because she was saffron who use to do things in her own way; what she was concerned about were the shots she had to make with a gun she had never used before; she wasn't sure whether she would be able to fire her gun perfectly or not.

Their initial plan was to enter the shop as customers, but after learning that there were not many people hiding there, they changed their strategy and planned to target them directly and use their brute strength to kill each person one by one. As it will be less difficult and fun. Since they were both well-trained in the use of their physical strength.

But all she knew was she had to do everything to make this mission successful even if that cost her own life because she was a girl who could even risk her own life for the sake of her family and also because there was no other option. First, she had to remove all the facts and figures and all the proofs so that there are no loose ends left. She had to do it for her sister as well, who trusted her, and as she was her source of motivation, so she did not want her to lose trust in her.

She approached the location, took out a gun, and loaded it so she wouldn't have to reload it over and over. She knocked three times on the door, each time slowly. So that Only the gatekeeper could hear it. But when the gatekeeper came to see who was knocking, he got startled when he saw her. But she instantly hit the gatekeeper's head hard with the gun's breach as he appeared, and he collapsed within a second. She was meant to kill him, so she replaced the gun back in the holster because she did not want to make any noise to alert other.

As she was a martial arts master, she grabbed his neck in both of her hands and bent it until his neck snapped and he died. She used her fingers to feel his pulse and observed that he was gone. It was her first success, and she had so much fun cracking the gatekeeper's bones that all her anxiety and discomfort flew away, and she became even more confident than before. she was sage's sister after all.

She stood up and walked in, leaving the gatekeeper away. The door was open, she started going to the right carefully. When she walked in, the main entrance to the store was almost vacant. She stepped quietly so no one could hear her. But she couldn't find anybody.

She took a step forward to the right. She, too, found no one there. She looked in every corner of the ground floor, but there was no one. This made her a little worried that whether rivals were really hiding there, or it was only a rumor. She checked every area and section there.

She took her first steps into the storeroom after seeing that it was the only room left after searching everywhere. When she got there, she heard a noise, the sound of someone talking to someone. But as she got closer to the room, she noticed that the door was closed. She approached it and tried to hear what they were talking about.

She had no idea how many people were inside or what was happening. But she could only hear one person talking, so she sought to hear it to get an understanding of what was going on inside.

"hahaha...," she heard someone laugh. "Don't be worried...

"Your work will be completed as soon as possible... What are you worrying about?"

"We've been working together for a couple of weeks; you should have faith."

There were no noises, and there was total silence. After a few seconds, she heard another voice.

"Of course, Dryad will never find out about us," he said as he hung up the phone. Perhaps that person was on the call, or perhaps there was just one person.

''Wait a moment, and then I'll remove your smugness,'' Saffron said in her heart when she heard his last words.

She then heard the sound of something colliding with something. She intended to recognize the sounds but was unable to do so.

She unexpectedly heard footsteps, as if someone was approaching her. Within a second, her pulse rate increased, and she was able to stabilize it. She took a deep breath and composed herself. Suddenly, she heard the doorknob move, indicating that someone from the inside of the room was opening the door and exiting. She had no idea whether that person was armed or not, or how many of them there were. But she put herself in a fighting position and made herself to crack their

bones and show them hell. She knew exactly what she had to do to get him or them down.

The door opened with a cranky sound, a guy came out, he was not facing saffron and this was much safer for her she was behind him. Saffron only struck him once with such a trick that he collapsed on the ground without even a single sound, just the sound of him and his phone dropping on the floor could be heard, as there was pin-drop silence. She put her foot on the man's dick and put a muzzle of the gun in his mouth, threatening him that if he made a sound, he would die. She then stepped on his dick and squeezed it with her foot, causing him to lose consciousness. And she deployed her tremendously incredible bone breaking abilities to smash every bone in that person's body. She was having a good time shattering his bones. Her favorite pleasure and activity were cracking bones.

When she'd had her fill of him, she sat on the floor and twisted his neck in the same way she'd murdered the gatekeeper before, and the guy died. She was pleased with the effectiveness of her martial arts trick. But something was missing to satisfy her fiercest bitch side.... What? .... BLOOOOOOD.

''Yep, that's right." She slaughtered the person with her knife and effortlessly ripped his neck from his body without mercy. She didn't even flinch for a second since she was saffron. She was not bothered by killing in an inhumane manner. When she was finally satisfied with her kill, she proceeded further carefully.

Fortunately, no one else was there. He was the only one in the building, and he had been on the phone with someone else.

She went inside and saw a lot of weapons and other supplies, but she had no idea whether they were going to smuggle them or deliver them. All she realized was that the enemies had taken over their place, and now she had to hunt all over to clean it up and kill them so that they could reclaim their place, as it had always belonged to them.

She searched every other room, behind the bars, and every other location on the ground floor after killing that person and locking his body in that room. Because she was assured that there was no one there, she wanted to investigate what was going on in the basement. As a consequence, she carefully rushed to the basement. Her heart was beating hard when she opened the basement door because she did not know who she had to meet there. and she had no idea how many people she was going to face or whether they were armed or not.

She looked around, but she couldn't see it from where she was. She emerged, holding her gun upright and ready to shoot. She saw another huge box similar to the one she had seen on the ground floor in that storeroom. She approached it cautiously. She crept behind it, trying to see what was inside. She saw the same things, a variety of the various types of weapons and bullets. When she saw this, she became concerned with what they were going to do with all of these weapons and ammunition, and if they were going to cause a lot of destruction. All of these questions were churning around in her head. But she didn't have a choice and she didn't have time; she had to head to the first floor before they came down.

She then proceeded to search the entire basement. But there was no one there. It was vacant and dark. Only she discovered a box containing all of the weapons and ammunition, as well as several other papers and records. All of that was worthless; she had to go up faster, kill all of them before they discover the dead bodies. She dashed again to the elevator heading off to the first floor.

Then she went back to the ground floor, took the stairs, and stepped upward, reaching the first floor. She took each step cautiously and deliberately because she knew there would be people and that the first floor would not be empty.

When she got to the top three stairs, she heard a lot of noises and tried to figure out how many people there were. She took two steps forward and heard a noise. she secretly tried to saw the whole first-floor hallway. She saw an old man half naked standing in the hallway doing some shitty things with a teen girl who was perhaps his daughter's age. Probably both of them were so drunk that they could not wait enough to go into a room and do that all stuff. She just hated that sight because both of them were standing in her way. Saffron wanted to go and give them a good fuck but because she didn't want to make any noises that would alarm the people inside the room and give them a chance to flee.

She moved quickly and approached the old man and the girl in such a way that they couldn't see her and because they were too busy in enjoying the fucking pleasure, they did not see her. It was her chance so she then hit the girl's head with the back of her gun, causing her to fall to the ground without making any noise. The girl sugar daddy was so old and dumb that he couldn't see clearly and couldn't tell the difference between that girl and saffron. She kicked him in the nuts as soon as he turned to get Saffron, disorienting him and causing him to go straight up to hell. She again put out her knife and starting stabbing the old man like crazy until she was satisfied to see his whole body covered in blood.

"Yeah," her lips curled into a grin because she had nasty blood on her hands and clothes from scumbags, but since she liked the scent of the blood, she was pleased and satisfied with herself, she knew she was doing a great job, and she understood why Sage like to go on missions. Killing them both was quite easy for her and she did not show any mercy towards them because she was having fun.

Saffron was hiding the bodies when one of the bodies' feet accidentally collided with the table, causing the vase to fall off and break. When someone heard the voices, one of the men appeared. He was already equipped with a gun, probably he was a guard but as soon as she saw him, she dashed towards him; he was just a short distance away, and before he could do something, she kicked him in the stomach, his gun fell down and he fell to his knees without resistance. She then kicked him from behind, her foot aimed at his collarbone. She broke his bones, heard a crack, but he was not dead. She couldn't wait for more paramedics to arrive at the scene, so she pulled out her gun and shot the man until he died. His body was riddled with tiny wounds, and boiling blood dripped from him like a fountain.

She then bolted for the last entrance, which was the only room left. She took out her gun because it was the only way she could kill them because they had been wary as a result of the noise. Before entering the room, she peeked in to see how many people were there.

There were two of them, one of them was presumably the boss and the other was his guard who was covering him like a shield, and the boss was trying to contact someone but no one answered his phone. They were certain that someone had broken into the store, but they had no idea that that someone was standing outside their room., She proposed a plan to assassinate the guard first because he was holding a gun then she could easily kill the boss too.

Saffron drew her gun, which was already primed. She had been killing everyone with her martial arts techniques she had learned, including those who were armed, but this time she had to shoot with a gun and from a distance that was difficult for her because her shots were not precise. But still she pointed her gun at the position and fired her first shot; the entire room echoed with the sound of the gunshot, and the bullet pierced the person's throat, she was aiming at his head but because she was not good at it. The bullet passed through his throat and he died right away, fortunately. He died on the spot, but Saffron was agitated and took two steps back without firing. She should have fired the second shot, but she didn't, giving the other person time to pick the guards gun and fire. She had stepped back; her hands

were shaking and the other person started shooting as soon as he heard the shot. He went to look for the other person, but he had died already.

Saffron had taken a step back, not because it was her first shot or because get got frightened, but because she had missed her target. She had taken aim at the person's head, but she had missed it, and fortunately, it struck his throat and killed him. She hid behind the door and shot again but none of the shots hit the target. Her heart was pounding, but it was not the time to be regretful; as soon as she heard the sound of footsteps approaching her, she continued shooting again, but, as before, she missed her target.

That person was the boss, and he must have some important information. When he realized his guards and the rest of his partners had died, he began firing, but when he received no response, he eventually walked towards the entrance. But just as he was about to leave, Saffron began firing again, and he fled and hid behind the sofa. Both of them fired shots at each other, and one of them just crossed Saffron's arm, but she was fortunate enough that the bullet just struck her arm and did not penetrate it.

The thought that saffron was not alone because who would let a girl go on a mission alone and he realized there was no way out, he leaped out the window to save his life and escape. Saffron, seeing this, shot him again, this time aiming for his shoulder, but this time it just touched his leg and he was able to jump off successfully.

Saffron dashed for the exit, but he had already escaped from there. She dashed outside the window to follow him.

As soon as she stepped outside, she saw the boss getting into his car and driving away. She attempted to fire his car's tires, but her attempts were again futile. After that, she saw a car approaching her. Saffron couldn't remember the car because she was so puzzled that none of her targets were on goal. She was feeling vulnerable that she had left the boss alive, and he could be a loose end for them, causing them great damage.

Sage was in the car, Saffron saw when Sage called her name and asked her to sit in the car. Sage had been waiting for her on the other side of the road; she hadn't seen the gang leader fleeing, but she had seen Saffron dash out and then fire a vehicle that she missed, so she knew what must have happened. She noticed Saffron was

numb as soon as she arrived. Sage called her name and motioned for her to take a seat in the car. She saw Saffron emerge from the coma and then sit in the car.

Sage drove the car after the gang leader as fast as she could, while Saffron sat in it. The gang leader was driving the car into the highway, attempting to escape the district. Sage followed her and picked up the pace. She saw blood while driving the vehicle. It came from Saffron's arm. She saw it and became concerned right away. She took the scarf off her neck and handed it to Saffron. As she saw Sage handing her the scarf, saffron was flabbergasted and wondered what she could do with the scarf because she completely forgot the pain that she was feeling and was only thinking about what will happen if that person gets successful in escaping.

Sage pointed out at her arm, that her arm was bleeding. "tie it tightly so that the bleeding stops," Sage said,

Sage drove the car as if she were in a race, not caring about anything and just caring to win the race. The Boss car was not far away. They'd arrived at the highway, and both vehicles were moving fast. There was hardly any traffic. Sage had been chasing his car. Sage was almost near to his vehicle. When she was 200 meters away, she told Saffron that when she will hit his car that will cause the Boss car to go off the track, and then Saffron had to shot exactly at the petrol tank, causing the car to catch fire and the Boss to die without hurting anyone or causing any incidents because Sage didn't want any other tragedy to happen.

When Sage said that Saffron herself had to fire, it reminded her of an event that had happened a while before, when she had missed her target and they had to chase the driver to kill him outside at this location because of her mistake.

Sage saw her and realized she was frightened, so she needed to boost her morale; it was an easy task for herself to do the same thing, as she had taken care of such things a lot but she wanted Saffron to do it to boost her confidence. She didn't want her to believe she couldn't finish the task because she had already seen how disappointed she was because of the missed bullets. So, she said Saffron,

"do it yourself or concede failure" Sage yelled at her, but she remained dumb.

''We will both die'' Sage yelled at her again, Saffron eventually emerged out of her thoughts when she heard that sage will die. Because she could never imagine herself to be the cause of her sister's pain, because she loved her sister more than

herself, so she had to do that for the sake of her love, her sister. Saffron nodded while she looked at Sage.

Sage raised her pace and drove faster, and when her car approached the gang's Boss car, 1...2.....3.............................................................. ........................................ Saffron fired out of nowhere. But she was more confident this time, and she didn't miss her mark because her lucky charm, her sister, was beside her.

The car spiraled out of control after the shot. Sage collided with that car, causing it to go off the road and collide with a tree. Sage then instructed Saffron to take aim at the fuel tank and fire again.

Saffron poked her head out the window, pointed at the fuel tank, and fired. And then, with a loud bang, the whole vehicle caught fire. The roar sounds like it was echoing indefinitely.

Sage stopped the car. They both came out to see the gang leader's car engulfed in flames.

Sage tapped Saffron on the shoulder and said, "Well done, the mission is finished." ''Did you have fun''

''Yep, indeed'' Saffron replied. ''It was amazing''

Sage informed her father of their accomplishment. And told him to send someone to collect the bodies to reopen the liquor shop and proceed the next mission.
