Glen blinked. His long black eyelashes fluttered and Alicia could see very clearly from the expression on his face that the werewolf now had several more questions racing inside his mind. The guardian spirit sighed and motioned for the alpha to move on and the latter, who could not protest because she had indeed kept her promise, pouted but moved to fulfill his part of the bargain.
Hands in his pockets, the Dominant looked completely lost in thoughts and another sigh escaped Alicia's lips.
"I can hear your thoughts racing through your head," she said and Glen side-glanced at her to confirm that it was indeed a green light she was giving him.
The guardian spirit shrugged and clarified as a warning.
"As long as your feet keep the pace I have nothing to complain about. I'd like to keep all the brownie points I have with my goddess and that means I'll make sure to get you to my clan's sacred Forest without you getting your blood sucked in the process."
