Rafael Softmane was pacing outside his older sister's bedroom. Like every night, he pondered whether to knock and disturb her or not, and like every night the male omega sighed before giving up. Ever since the Skinwalkers chained his inner wolf, the young werewolf felt lost and empty.
He no longer felt the pain of his rejection. His body was no longer covered with shivers and cold sweats making him feverish and he no longer had the impression that his heart was about to burst out, his throat was no longer constricted by tears. He had no more fever or physical discomfort but the most important point was that he no longer felt the longing feeling that only the presence, even brief, of his fated mate could avoid.
However, the absence of his wolf who had always been here with him had caused some loneliness that made the young werewolf uneasy. He felt a part of him had been ripped off and it was overwhelming.
