Eden looked at the screen of his phone and his fingers clenched around the device. He heard Dante's voice calling out to him and snapped out of his thoughts when the beta's hand grabbed him by the shoulder to pull him away from the student he was about to collide with.
"Watch out!" cried Dante. "I know, you have a lot on your plate but, at least, look properly ahead of you."
The werewolf with blond hair ran a hand through his face and put the phone back in his pocket with an apologetical look.
"Sorry. It was a message from Glen asking if I was going straight home tonight. He would like to see me before he leaves. He's tagging along with Connor to Bloodhood and he will stay there until at least next week."
"Is the situation that bad?"
