POV: Third person
It's been a year since the young boy known as Shizuka Ikari has awakened his quirk and has been in a coma since then. During the activation of his quirk, he had absolutely no idea on how to use the emotions for power so all he did was needlessly store up all those emotions.
His parents were devastated, his father worked even harder in his hero works to pay for the hospital bills and to get treatment from recovery girl to see by any chance if he will ever wake up again.
While his mother spent time coming by everyday to visit him and to do the small things for him like cutting his hair when grown too long. She even sang to him before she left the hospital at night.
But that would all come to an end when Shizuka Ikari would finally wake up.
POV switch: Shizuka Ikari
Auugh, why is it so bright…
As I try to get up I immediately clutch my head from the sudden emotions of other people I feel. It feels rather depressing here. But now that I have somewhat gained my bearings its time to ask the million dollar question.
Ikari: "Uhh where am I?"
Not even a second later the door opens to the hospital room with 2 nurses coming in doing a check up while I sit here confused. For all I remember I fell asleep on the floor after my quirk awakened and now i'm here getting a check up.
After they finish I finally get to ask some questions to the nurse that's attending me.
Ikari: "Excuse me miss but where am I and where are my parents?"
She turns back to look at me quite confused until she gets a look of realization and replies to me.
Nurse: "You're in a Hospital in Mustafu right now, right now your parents aren't here. Can you tell me your name and age little one?
Ikari: "My name is Shizuka Ikari! The son of the #35 hero Shizuka Ento! And im 4 years old."
The nurse looks down on her clipboard as if to check if everything i've said is correct. She then sends the other nurse out to call my parents before sitting down next to me.
Nurse: "Okay Ikari, how should I put this. Ah, you've gone to sleep for a REALLY long time and now you're five years old! While you were asleep your father rose to number #30 in the rankings and your mother has been visiting you here."
I look awestruck at my fathers new rising until I realize what she just said.
Ikari: "Can you repeat that?"
Nurse: "You've been asleep for a REALLY long time-"
Ikari: "FOR A YEAR!?"
The nurse visibly flinches, not expecting me to scream so loudly next to her before the second nurse comes in informing me that my family is on their way at the moment.
So while I wait I ask for a phone to see what I missed while I was asleep, and to say that I was surprised is an understatement.
Along with my fathers rise to #30 There's a new hero named Hawks who is quickly rising into fame. He seemed like a cool person along with the way he uses his feathers to save people. It astonished me, even with a simple quirk you can become a great hero which really inspired me.
But my "research" was short lived as once the room door opened my parents came flying towards me quickly hugging and asking me questions. It took me a while to calm my mom down as she was crying as she told me how much she missed me which made me feel guilty, which for some reason made me feel , weak? The doctors still haven't told me what my quirk is so I'm clueless as to what this feeling is.
But as this situation came to an end I turned towards the doctor who was nervously looking at us from the corner of the room not trying to intrude in this family reunion we were having. I quickly break free from my mothers embrace and run over to him only to trip. Luckily my father caught me in time.
Ento: "Ikari be careful, you just woke up. Walk slowly next time."
I smile as I nod my head before walking over to the doctor before excitedly asking the doctor,
Ikari: "Hey mister what's my quirk! I definitely have to have one after that long of a time! I hope it's something super cool like all might!"
The doctor laughed as he told me to follow him so he can conduct some tests. Many of them were confusing as he asked me to think about moving things or even try to move a certain way. After an hour of trial and error the doctor successfully identified my quirk. Its called Empa- empar- something like that.
All I needed to know was that it was strong and I was immediately happy. After telling my parents what my quirk is we finish out the paperwork and start our journey towards the car until I feel… something gross, greed? Directed towards me. I quickly turn around to see nothing and sigh out in relief.
Ikari: "Phew I think i'm just imagining things"
Hana: "Sweety are you coming?"
Ikari: "Yes! On my way"
But as i'm about to cross the street a flash goes across from me and leaving something that i'll always see in my nightmares.
