Leonard didn't see Rita when he was strolling along the last floor, seems like she's gone home already. Maybe she wants to go home and prepare for the meeting with him. Leonard strolled out of the company alongside, Felix, and that's when Leonard got to see the security guard.
He wouldn't go home just like that now that the guard has seen him in suit. Felix had to leave Leonard behind 'cause he knew there was gonna be a talk between them, he couldn't wait. The guard complimented him on the suit, and Leonard just kept on smiling and uttering 'Thank you' throughout. After the guard was done complimenting him, he asked the guard why he didn't come at his usual time today.
