"I've been given my first quest, and it's a girl am older than by just one year. She's beautiful, and from the look of things, she might be very sexy also. Three weeks is too much, I'm gonna seduce and bang her under one week". Leonard said to himself after he couldn't feel the presence of the female system anymore.
At this moment, all he wanted to do was to explore outside, he should have done this since if not that he was locked in this apartment. He strolled over to the door, and though the female system had assured him that the door wasn't locked anymore, he felt like it would still fuck up when he tries to open it. He held the doorknob with his palms, turned it, and you know what? The door opened.
"Finally". Leonard muttered to himself.
He went outside and breathed in natural fresh air, it feels good being outside after being locked in for hours. The first thing Leonard noticed after breathing in fresh air was the flower vase at the side of his new apartment. Not only that, there were also grown beautiful flowers inside the vase. Was this another stuff the female system and her accomplices arranged? or has it been there since?
Well, that wasn't something he wanted to waste his time thinking about, all he knew was that the flowers were beautiful. The sky was dim, the moon was already showing itself, it was evening getting close to complete nighttime. He checked the time before coming outside, and it was 6:03 pm, the clock's time had been correct all this while.
He glanced at the building where his apartment was located, and it was elegant. The color used in painting it was cool and shiny...it was a two-storey building. As he was about to begin strolling, he noticed a young man standing at his side and staring at him...he wasn't too close to him though.
And from the look of things, seems like he had been staring at Leonard since he came out of his apartment...only that Leonard didn't notice him.
"For how long have you been staring at me? And why are you staring at me? Any problem?". Leonard inquired of the young man.
"When did you move into this apartment? For all I know, it was a certain guy that was residing in this apartment two days ago. When did you move in? I reside in an apartment in this building upstairs". The guy retorted using a question to answer a question.
Leonard then remembered what the female system told him about a guy residing in this apartment before the magical stuff happened. And he didn't know what answer to give this guy, the system didn't give him any clue on how he could answer questions like this. He didn't want to say something that would expose any important detail about him, so he decided to be rude.
"Umm...I don't think that's any of your business. Just take it like I'm the new guy residing in this apartment. And just so you know, I'm occupying this apartment legally".
The guy said nothing as he just opened his mouth and stared at Leonard, maybe the rude reply to his question was affecting his brain. Noticing that his reply had an effect on the guy and stopped him from asking more questions, Leonard walked away. He sauntered as he glanced around, yeah, it has been confirmed, this world was just like his previous world.
From the buildings, the roads, and so on, everything matched with his previous earth. You know, he was a citizen of USA in his previous earth, born and brought up there. He was squatting with someone in the city of Chicago after he moved out of his mum's house before he migrated to Detroit city. And USA was a developed country, they've got good roads, good buildings, good economy, and so on.
That's exactly what this place looks like, all he was seeing were just great things, that doesn't mean there wouldn't be some bad aspects on this earth. He sauntered far and wide as he kept on glancing at things around. He noticed the nice buildings, both tall and short. The restaurants, the bars, the gaming houses, the barbing salons, and so on.
And you know what? He saw something that almost drew him to enter there...a gambling house. He was addicted to gambling in his previous world, and that's what caused his death, and here was another gambling house filled with people? Was this a temptation or what? Was it the female system and her accomplices that set this up to see if he'll fall into it?
No, it can't be them, gambling was a normal thing in most places though it can be illegal sometimes. And this was just like normal earth, so it just happened that he came across one...they didn't set this up. He had to fight a certain spirit in him not to enter the gambling house...it wasn't an easy stuff.
Some of the other things he saw while walking around were the people...people with different skin complexion. Some were white, some weren't that white, just fair-skinned. Some were brown in complexion, while some were dark-skinned, not brown-skinned...dark-skinned. Satisfied with the things he had seen and how far he had explored, he began walking back home.
He had walked far from his abode, so getting back there was gonna take a little while. He journeyed without tiring out until he arrived at the front door of his apartment. The guy that questioned him when he was about to begin exploring wasn't there anymore. He opened the door to his apartment and entered it.
Entering his apartment and balancing on one of the sofas, he felt a little hungry, yeah, slightly hungry. He knew that he needed to eat something at this moment, so he strolled into the kitchen. He wasn't gonna eat noodles, he wasn't gonna eat cornflakes, he wanted to prepare something that he rarely eats in his previous earth...rice balls.
Yeah, there was a mini bag of rice in the kitchen, so he was gonna take part of it to prepare rice balls, then he'll prepare a delicious stew also. Leonard was a man, but he was good at cooking, so was his friend also in Earth 1. Sometimes, he and his friend does engage in cooking competitions when they had enough time...first person to prepare a delicious meal.
And 'cause of such competitions, they end up using two electric cookers or two gas cookers. The first person to finish cooking would receive points, then after the other person was done cooking, they'll taste each other's food and decide on which was more delicious. Lots of insignificant arguments had happened as a result of that, but all was gone.
Those were memories, Leonard was in another world, he'll never be able to see his friend again. He started preparing the rice balls first, it will take a bit of time. Preparing rice balls and stew wasn't something that could be done easily and quickly, it takes time. It took close to an hour before he finished preparing the rice balls, just two minutes to complete an hour. Then he started adding ingredients to make a stew.
He was feeling his stomach rumbling a little, he could have easily eaten food that wouldn't take time to prepare, but he decided to eat rice balls and stew. After adding all the necessary stew ingredients, it took it close to an hour to done also. Then Leonard rubbed his hands together as he dished the rice balls into one plate and the stew into another plate, then he took both of them to the parlor.
Licking his mouth, he began devouring the meal, and it was as delicious as ever. At least, he can be proud to say, 'I prepared that meal' if anyone asks him. After he was done eating, he took the plates to the kitchen and mellowed down the meal with a chilled bottle of soft drink he took from the fridge. As filled up as ever, he sat on one of the couches in the parlor and began thinking about the quest he was given.
The pretty girl named Eva, he had bragged to the female system that he was gonna seduce and fuck her under one week, and he felt confident about that. But at this moment, he was thinking about the best and faster way to achieve that. Maybe, seduce and bang her in less than a week, that would be cool...he could endlessly brag to the system that he kept to his words.
