Leonard opened his eyes, yeah, it was morning already...but he didn't feel like getting up from the bed. Maybe it's 'cause of the activities he engaged in yesterday, you know, entering Eva's boot and all that, seems like it weakened him a little. But that wasn't enough to weaken him whereby he wouldn't be able to get up from the bed again? He shouldn't call himself a man if that's the case.
He forced himself to get up from the bed, then he did something he was getting used to doing...push-ups. After doing some push-ups, he thought of the activities he planned on engaging in today.
'I'll go to John's house to see if I'll find him, I really need his suggestion, I hope I'll find him. Seems like I'll also visit that free gym today, I'm in the mood to workout. Then the last and foremost, I'll stalk Eva this evening, oh! unless I get a different suggestion from John'.
That's what he planned on engaging in for today, isn't that great? Without wasting time, he entered the bathroom, took his bath, and brushed his teeth, then he came out of the bathroom and dried himself. He didn't dress up in fashionable clothes immediately, instead, he put on casual clothes. There's something he wanted to engage in before he'll eat, then dress up, then evacuate his apartment...the laundry.
There aren't many clothes he wanted to wash though, it's just the hooded clothe he wore yesterday and the black jeans trousers he used in matching them. He's gonna need them this evening if he doesn't get a better suggestion from John. He sweated a little on the hooded outfit 'cause of the heat in Eva's boot, not even once, twice...so he's gotta dry clean it.
He took them to the bathroom, and not even up to 8 minutes, he was already done washing them with the help of the washing machine. After washing, he dried them and hung them. Now that he was done washing, it's about time to eat breakfast. He dashed into the kitchen and took three packs of noodles, since he took packs of noodles, you should have already discerned what he planned on eating.
Preparing the noodles didn't take much time as it doesn't take much time to prepare noodles. Then he dished them into a plate and ate them right in the kitchen, he felt like there was no need to go to the parlor. Done eating, he dropped the plate in the kitchen and strolled into his room, he was full. It's about time to dress up into something more fashionable.
He took off the casual outfits and put on one of the T-shirts in the wardrobe matching it with brown chinos trousers, then he put on shoes. He stood in front of the mirror, did some little grooming, then departed from his apartment. His destination was John's apartment, as he sauntered, he kept on muttering to himself in a low tone of voice,
"John, please be at home, John, please be at home".
Arriving at the front of the building where John's apartment was situated, he sighed and muttered to himself once again, "John, please, be at home".
Then he sauntered to the front of John's door, sighed once again, and began knocking on it. Knocking the first time, there was no response, Leonard began feeling his heartbeat a little. He knocked on it once again, this time, twice, but there was still no response. After knocking five more times, it became clear that John wasn't in.
"Wow! This guy does leave for work early, how am I even sure he hasn't died inside his apartment?".
Then he heard a feminine voice behind him say, "He has left for work, you shouldn't be coming by this time to look for him".
Leonard glanced back, and it was that same girl he met when he came here day before yesterday. But this time, she wasn't standing behind him, she was walking past. She said to him once again,
"It isn't easy to meet him by this time, he leaves for work in the morning. The best time to meet him at home is at night. The only time you can meet him by this time is when he doesn't need to go to work, maybe something came up".
Then she walked away completely, Leonard could sight her no more. This was one of the reasons why he needed money. If he has money, he could buy a phone, when he has a phone, he could easily store the phone number of people important to him. He could have collected John's phone number the first time he spoke with him if he had a phone, then meeting him wouldn't have been much of a problem.
Why? When he comes here and doesn't meet him, he'll just call him on the phone and they'll make an appointment to meet and discuss...John would make out time. But unfortunately, he doesn't have a phone, so he'll just have to go back home. He determined that he wouldn't forget to ask the system for money today...he really needed to get a phone of his own.
"So I wouldn't get to speak with John again? I'll just have to keep implementing my plan to find out the type of men Eva likes". Leonard said to himself.
After making that utterance, he began sauntering back home. His plan now was to get to his apartment and change into an armless outfit, he planned on visiting the gym to workout. He journeyed until he arrived at the front of his apartment and entered it. You know, if he had money, he could easily be taking taxis or public transports to move from one place to another.
Since he transmigrated into this earth, it's been one trekking or the other. In his previous earth, he barely enters transports 'cause he's got no money...he wastes them on gambling. Entering his apartment, he changed into armless clothe and plain trousers. Then he took chilled bottled water from the refrigerator and departed from his apartment once again...here we come gym house.
He didn't walk, he jogged until he arrived at the street where the gym house was located, then he began sauntering. Arriving at the front of the gym house, he stepped into it, then a bit of muscular woman stopped him with a question,
"Where are you going?".
Normally, he's supposed to be like, 'Why is this woman asking me this sort of question? Who does she think she is? But glancing at her muscles, he had to mellow down, he knows the type of pain he'll feel if this woman punches him on the face. She must have been spending a lot of time in the gym, look at her muscles? A woman for that matter?
But why was she asking him this? Wasn't this a free gym anymore? He managed to glance at the woman directly in the eyes and retorted,
"I wanna go workout".
"You wanna go workout?". She repeated the question, like yeah, didn't she hear well?
"Yeah, I wanna go workout, like exercise my body", Leonard uttered adding more explanation in case she didn't know the meaning of workout, then he inquired, "Isn't this a free gym anymore?".
"It's a free gym, you're free to enter, sorry for stopping you". The woman stated paving way for him to enter, she blocked his path a little while asking him those questions.
'Sorry for yourself', that's what Leonard felt like saying to her, but he could receive a punch for that...he was afraid of her muscles. But he didn't understand why she'll just stop him and start asking him questions? Was she the guard of this gym house? Or was she the owner of it? He didn't want to disturb himself thinking about her, so he just entered the gym house fully.
Dropping his bottled water, he did some push-ups first, then he started lifting heavy weights, and just as he sweated while lifting the weights the first time he visited this gym...he was also sweating now. Done with the weight lifting, he began making use of the vacant gym equipment one by one. First of all, he made use of the training bench, then he made use of the stationary bicycle. Done using those, he gulped a large amount of water down his throat...he was thirsty and sweaty.
After that, he made use of the other gym equipment like the Treadmill, the Pull-up frame and bar, and other gym equipment. Done using them, he was as sweaty as ever, then he did some more push-ups, took a large gulp of water from his bottled water once again...then he departed from the gym house.
