Right from the moment Albert dropped Kyla at the club, she'd been working. Delano took her around--after taking ten minutes to fuss over her wounds and general health--to meet with the few pack members who partied or guarded the place. Her team had been called in, and she had drawn up an itinerary for them to work with after a one-hour meeting where she described her encounter with the shape-shifting demon. To the best of her abilities she explained the different shapes it took from vampire bats to wolves, and then a woman.
Soon after that, Delano drove her down to the pack-house to meet the rest of the werewolves and after another hour of introductions and a compulsory tour of the place, they returned to his office for cocktails.
Kyla licked the salt off her glass before sipping her margarita. She needed this drink. "This is good."
Delano smiled. "Glad you like it. Amrita makes the best cocktails in the pack."
