Even if Dante V2 had hundreds of thousands of heavenly notes still, he couldn't rely on his own treasury to run the Empire, then what would happen if it ran out? He needed to set up trading and business deals.
And the first deal he was going to make was with the neighbouring kingdom which also happens to control half of the County Dante V2 is trying to occupy.
Dante V2 had also heard of this kingdom, it originated as a small kingdom and just after the king died a young boy took charge and became the king. The neighbouring kingdoms immediately rushed towards it attempting to occupy the territory.
However on the verge of destruction, the King who was considered a Waste suddenly had the support of many powerhouses. As if by magic, dozens of legions appeared and began to fight back before slowly creating this Kingdom.
Since the neighbouring Tang Kingdoms rose to fame, it had only been less than a year. An incredible record for any kingdom able to occupy half a county. This was also the reason why Dante V2 was hesitant to attack.
His Kingdom's highest combat power right now was a Spirit State Ancestor Dante V2 made into a puppet. But according to his intelligence, although the highest in the opposing Kingdom is only the Spirit State there are multiple.
Not to mention those Legions seem to be in the Bone Refining Realm and even the Spirit Tempering realm. Currently it is not something that Dante V2 can handle. So he decided to situate himself and once he digested the gains he will continue to invade.
The Tang King also seemed to have the same Qualms and didn't immediately attack Dante V2s Imperial Kingdom.
Deep within the palace of the current Tang Kingdom, a teenage boy sat on a large emerald throne. Carved onto the throne were dozens of shapes of people almost lifelike looking as if they could move at any minute.
The boy's eyes snapped open and a smile appeared on his face.
''Just a little more national fortune and I will be able to summon some more subordinates. Then I would be able to occupy the entire county! Im looking forward to seeing what rewards will be given if I take it over.''
The boy stroked the throne beneath his hands as he spoke.
Surprisingly the boy's success was actually attributed to the Emerald Throne below him. Out of nowhere Daniel Woodcalf was transported to the body of the young king from China on Earth.
Originally he thought that he could live a flourishing life and become a playboy. However he didn't expect that his Father disappeared handing off an almost crumbling kingdom to him and he himself was on the verge of being killed.
He thought that he was over, and prepared to escape with his trusted Eunuch. But as he prepared to escape through the secret passageway he felt something calling out to him in his head.
Surprisingly an Emerald Throne flew out of his consciousness and landed in this secret room. Daniel found that whenever he sat on the throne, a series of words would appear on his head.
It listed various summoning options, summoning legions, individual summons divided into each skill category and he could even summon entire work forces like Alchemy teams!
Daniel was immediately ecstatic and wanted to summon all of them and reach the peak of his life, however before he could he realised that he was unable to. Apparently he required national fortune to summon different beings.
With enough National fortune he found he could even summon Saints from his throne. And with his limited knowledge he knows that Saints can be considered the top combat power on this continent.
Unfortunately the number of national fortunes required was incredible. However with the national fortune left over from his previous Kingdom, Daniel successfully summoned a powerful Bone Refining Legion of 100,000.
Although small it was enough to support him to hold the throne. Furthermore he realised that the Throne actually posted missions for him. The first was to occupy the county he was in right now.
Originally he thought it was going to be easy, but unexpectedly another powerful kingdom appeared opposite him, inhibiting his movements. He had fought some battles against them above ground and underground, but he was unable to get the advantage.
So he decided to continue to fix up his current Kingdom in order to receive the full amount of National Fortune.
But he also has to support the soldiers with food and payment. Because unlike those summoning novels from Earth, the people he summoned weren't immediately 100% loyal.
They were loyal, and were willing to listen to Daniels orders immediately. However if he didn't treat them correctly, or he abused his power it is highly likely for them to attempt to flee.
This was the largest downside to the Emerald Throne and also the main reason why Daniel wasn't willing to attack the neighbouring Imperial Kingdom. If there were too many losses it would make his followers doubt his command.
Although they wouldn't run, it would be difficult for Daniel to get them to 100% loyalty in the future. But with enough time Daniel could harvest more National Fortune and begin to create more and more armies.
Then he would have enough confidence to sweep the continent, let alone a small county.
Of course Dante V2 didn't know any of this, he just suspected that the Tang Dynasty was created with the support of some force.
Time quickly passed and a week flew by, Dante had successfully finished the puppet clone. Like the others this one had its own unique feeling to it. Although it looked exactly like Dante, it had an irresistible charm.
Although nowhere near as effective as Hamilton's Charm, it would still be attractive to many women on the continent.
As soon as the Father Physique puppet appeared, Dante gave him the name Father Dante. Quite cliche? But it was just for Dante to be able to distinguish him. He considered calling it Daddy Dante, however he went with the first choice.
With the Rank 3 Father Physique, Father Dante had a natural attraction towards any women just like how they are attracted to him.
The first thing that Dante did was release the Hitatchi tribe beauty and handed her off to the Father Physique. Following that he handed him one saint and sent him on his way to collect Mia and then create his own harem.
Dante then returns to continue his own cultivation, he doesn't need to take much action outside anymore and can focus on his own cultivation.
He wanted to reach the Saint State before he was twenty years old. Of course it would be a difficult challenge, but Dante believed with the massive amount of resources being provided from the multiple different forces around the continent.
