Chapter 20 - Planning an Invasion

And this is why the completed plane is a prize as well as a test. If the inheritor who wins the world seed cannot fulfil this condition before they are devoured, the world seed would naturally pass on.

Luckily being devoured isn't a quick process, Dante estimated that it would take hundreds of years for a fairy state cultivator to even start being devoured.

This was more than enough time for him to collect enough warriors to occupy this plane.

But first he had to win it. He immediately jumped down and viewed the warriors within the castle. Naturally they were meant to be starting soldiers for the inheritors.

Consisting of one at the peak of bone refining, five at the middle and early stages and finally twenty in the peak of body refining.

Dante didn't even talk to them before he transformed them with his Puppet Technique, and therefore guaranteeing their loyalty.

''Seen the Lord'' They knelt on one knee towards Dante.

''Alright, give me an overview of this area.''

''Yes Lord.'' They quickly answered.

'' Surrounding us are the Tearful Mountains and there is only one way out. That is through the Ancient Keep. However, that has long since been blocked by others.''

''The natives nearby are all part of the LipFreed Clan, a race of demi humans who have merged with the DNA of a Strange Beast. Their power is stronger than that of the same level with their powerful skin however their speed is slower than normal.''

''The most powerful Beast around us is only in the Spirit Tempering Realm, but i must apologise to the Lord as I'm not sure about the strength of the castles that have just appeared.''

It was then that Dante realised the troops in each castle were randomised. You could receive a powerful Core Building Cultivator or you could receive hundreds of Body Refining Cultivator.

Luckily no one would receive a Fairy State Cultivator at the beginning.

However, hearing the distribution Dante already had a plan. His first Target was a small camp of the LipFreed Clan nearby.

It had a small tribe of 400 and the strongest was the peak of the Bone Refining Realm.

Looking at the cultivator in front of him, Leonard, Dante wanted to allow him to attempt to occupy the camp with very little help.

After all, according to the system of Inheritance it is clearly intended to make the inheritors create a powerful force rather than increase their own strength.

And one of these ways is to increase their combat experience.

Luckily Dante had some special techniques in his mind which are perfect for creating an army. It is not uncommon for families to create their own armies and naturally there are cultivation techniques unique to the armies.

The most commonly used are Battle Arrays. Typically they would combine the attack power of the army in order to fight stronger cultivators.

However the one Dante chose to use was a technique unique to the Armstrong Family Clan.

If used by the entire army it would share the damage between the entire army. And the distribution is controlled by the commander of the army.

Normally Dante wouldn't be able to teach anyone this technique so quickly. But luckily with the puppet technique he is able to allow the soldiers to learn the entry level technique.

He selected Leonard as the commander and gave them a few hours to familiarise themselves with the technique.

Unfortunately the limited time meant that they were unable to freely use the technique during battle, however they could select a single distribution percentage before starting to fight.

For example, everyone gets an equal percentage of the damage or Leonard gets 50% and the rest is divided.

But it cannot be changed mid battle with their current skills.

However this is enough for now. Dante quickly started marching towards the Lizard camp leaving the castle completely empty.

There was nothing in there so he had no worries of people stealing.

The marching speed wasn't quick, it took them an hour before finally reaching their target.

In a clearing next to a small, neat rows of leather tents were pitched. Wandering around were small crowds of humanoid figures with blue scales spreading across their bodies.

Their eyes were slits and their hands had long claws however occasional patches of skin across their body showed that they were still part human.

The only difference was that within the camp were a surprisingly large number of children. From a quick glance Dante could see that there were at least fifty children already on the outskirts.

As if seeing his confusion Leonard quickly answered his question.

''My lord, LipFreeds are notorious for their quick reproduction rates. Their birth cycles are only a month long meaning they can easily have hundreds of children in their lifetime.''

Hearing this Dante understood why the antique cultivated this race. Naturally he wanted to populate this plane with species with quick reproduction rates. Fortunately it saves Dantes time in the future.

After all, he was also thinking of looking for talented but quick reproductive families. If he combined various treasures that can be used to increase reproduction rates he can guarantee a huge family in a couple of months at most!

Of course this is all based on him claiming the LipFreed clan as his own.

But he also looked forward to what other special clans that the antique had collected in his lifetime.

After all, Dante estimated the Antique had created hundreds of planes as a minimum and lived hundreds of thousands of years.

The mixture of races and resources would naturally be unimaginable.

But it all starts with the creatures in front of Dante.

Instead of ordering a head on charge, Dante snuck around towards the largest tent in the centre. Based on his thoughts the patriarch of this camp should live here.

Along the way he saw at least a thousand children spread throughout the camp. This caused an expectant smile to form on his face.

Under Dantes control of his spiritual power, his little army remained unnoticed as it reached behind the largest tent. Luckily the tribe didn't seem careful enough to surround the patriarch's tent in the centre.

Rather it was placed haphazardly on the exterior.

With a swish of his sword Dante cut a hole on the back of the tent.

''Who's brave enough to attack my tent!'' Suddenly a loud roar erupted from a bone throne in the centre of the tent.
