Chapter 1 - One

The night was so quiet. Overcast clouds seemed to cover the full moon which should provide some light at night. A man dressed in all black jumped out of a window that was opened from the inside as the burglar shouted from the occupants of the house.

Weiwei who was walking nearby immediately chased the thief figure. Those who were with her also immediately followed.

The thief ran fast, then jumped swiftly from one roof to another. That body seemed so light that the steps made no sound at all. Residents of the house will definitely not notice if someone is on the roof of their house.

Weiwei who was in pursuit didn't lose either. Behind her, it seemed that those who had been with her were far behind. But Weiwei didn't care. She still chased the thief. Jump over the roofs of houses with agility. In the dark night, Weiwei and the thief looked like a painting of two people dancing.

"Miss, how long are you going to chase after me?" asked the thief who finally stopped on one of the roofs and turned around. A black cloth covered his nose and face. Her long black hair was tied in a ponytail with a black ribbon flowing in a gust of wind.

Weiwei who was standing not far away was stunned. Unexpectedly, the thief knew that she was a woman. Understandably, Weiwei's hair is now rolled up and only decorated with a simple bun. She also wore armor like a soldier in the kingdom. Weiwei's face was even clean of make up.

The thief laughed out loud.

"You look so surprised. My eyesight is sharp, won't miss a beautiful woman even if she goes into the mud."

Weiwei didn't answer. She immediately took out the sword that was on her waist and aimed at the figure in front of her. From his voice, Weiwei was sure that that person was a man.

"Sir, you'd better give up," she threatened then. The thief grabbed the cloth pocket in his shirt and tossed it in the air.

"If you can snatch this cloth bag, I'll give up."

"Okay, then I won't hesitate."

Weiwei moved forward while pointing her sword at the person. The figure of the thief just watched quietly. However, as Weiwei's sword drew near, he disappeared. Weiwei stopped where the thief had been. She looked around and shouted,

"Hey you, don't be a coward. If you dare, come out and fight me!"

A whisper sounded in Weiwei's ear,

"How can I fight a beautiful girl like you?"

Hearing that, Weiwei quickly turned around and directly attacked the thief who this time did not disappear. Weiwei's attacks are fast and deadly. During this time, that girl was very well trained in martial arts. Men are even reluctant to confront her. The teacher who taught even praised the girl. But this time everything was different.

Weiwei has repeatedly attacked. But the thief also dodged nimbly. Not only that, he managed to fend off the girl's hand movements.

The thief's body then flew away. Weiwei was about to follow, but then she just stood there stunned when her hair suddenly fell down.

"I'm not wrong, you are indeed beautiful," commented the thief who was now back in front of Weiwei.

"You impudent. Give me my hairpin!" Weiwei's hand reached out as she walked quickly to grab her hairpin. However, the thief dodged again.

"Hairpin in your hair, I'll replace it," shouted the thief as he flew away quickly. Weiwei was about to give chase, but then her sharp ears heard her follows call her. That white-skinned girl could only grumble in annoyance.

"Really, I also wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it for myself, the thief even made her helpless," said one who wore a red royal army uniform with the inscription and a dragon symbol on the back. Another soldier standing nearby nodded.

Weiwei couldn't help but be annoyed to see the two people whispering to each other. Actually they didn't need to speak so quietly because Weiwei still heard clearly. After all, many people have talked about her. Her teacher at the college also advised her to be more patient.

Weiwei's fingers gripped tightly. Her heart was beating fast but she held back the anger that seemed to be about to burst out. How could she be patient after being humiliated and being made a laughing stock?

"Turns out she's a normal girl who's easy to beat," said one of the soldiers, laughing loudly. The other soldier also laughed.

"Is that funny?" scolded Weiwei who was trying her best to hold back anger.

"Of course it's funny, it's...." The reply of the medium-sized soldier stopped when he turned his head and saw Weiwei staring at him in his back. The soldier then glanced over at his friend he had spoken to earlier. But now the friend just stood frozen. His face also looks pale.

The soldier looked annoyed to see his friend just like that.

'Instead of telling me, you are just dumbfounded. Do you want I to get into trouble?'

He then immediately took his friend's hand.

"We forgot that we still have business, shall we go first?" he said goodbye to Weiwei.

Weiwei just nodded with a sweet smile. The young man beside him immediately dragged his friend who was still standing still to leave immediately.

'Well, she's not angry. Maybe something good happened to her or she's starting to fear us?' he thought amused.

Just as the two of them had walked a few steps, Weiwei immediately flew over and stood in front of them. The girl was now cross-legged while looking at the two people alternately.

"The thief escaped and I can't teach him a lesson. I was laughed by you too. That means you are the same as him. If so, it means I also have to teach you a lesson," he said.

"W-we... we still have some business to do. So please let us go."

"I wouldn't, I'm already so pissed off. If I don't get kicked out, I might hit passersby. So I'd better take it out on you guys."

Weiwei moves to hit. The two soldiers had also prepared to ward off. Even though their martial arts skills are under Weiwei's, they won't stand still to chase the girl.

"A girl like that is too rude. Any man wouldn't fall in love with her," said a voice.

Weiwei stopped the intention to attack the two soldiers. She then turned and met face to face with a man. The man's face was beautiful. Clear black eyes with a puffy nose. Thin lips that show a smile showing a row of neat white teeth. Her white skin looked like marble. At first glance the man looked like a scholar or nobility. But not for Weiwei. Today she was already in such a bad mood. All she wanted was to beat up someone who was deliberately looking for trouble with him.
